@@MyMostBeautifuCinema depends on what your comfortable with. Nosegrind has a bigger margin of error though. Lipslide would be harder than board if you're going fakie.
that's so true man he is flawless , me as a 42 year old that skated in my youth and i was pretty bad at it , seeing this is like i don't understand how can it get it so smooth and perfect ,balanced . I know this is edited but it makes you believe that he would land all these tricks the first time he tries them. anyways im gonna go get my pills happy to see this guy still destroying it

Then just look at the dates to see which ones are from this year. His "need that" part is by far the best though (even if they are all incredible).

Whats really crazy is that this part was like a warmup for Need That.
Film quality and skating is so clean it's easy to forget how hard it is to do both at this level.
Bruv the filmqualitiy is kinda shitty in my eyes, i mean it looks like they filmed the fisheye lines with an iphone 😅 but the skating is sick as always 👌

The VX days were great but im glad to see there gone. One of my main thoughts watching this video was holy shit its so cinematic... which I fully understand being a reason why others might dislike it, but to me this type of filming really showcases the art and beauty of skateboarding on another level... as corny as that sounds.
At the same time I dont want or need every skate part/video to be so cinematic, like this is Nyjah who has major sponsors backing him and not to mention his own bankroll to afford such film expenses... I dont expect this to become the industry standard. We all know about Nyjahs documentary so of course all his filming for the past few years has been next level.
This is the best of our generation. 30 is coming… enjoy this

Damn as a 30 year old now.. watching Elementality when i was younger and seeing his dreads damn near to the floor evolving to who he is today he really deserves his flowers. Just continually evolved into one of the absolute best. What a ride its been foreal so sick to watch through the years

This part alone is better than all of Tyshawn’s footage put out this year. Absolutely robbed. I guess all the kooks, celebrities, and teenage girls at the mall wearing Thrasher really rubbed off on them. They didn’t even pick the core skaters like TFunk or Louie. Went with fashionista NY trend skater.

Rewatching it again almost a year later and it’s so much better than anything Tyshawn did. I mean him skating the subway gap was cool, even with the bondo, but this did does technical tricks on rails 95% skaters wouldn’t even tails slide.
You gotta let the money people do money things to be able to pay more so it attracts more talent
After all these years watching him it is still hard to believe how good of a skater he is.

Thanks for the comments guys! It was the only time I ever met Nyjah and when I saw him my jaw kind of dropped. I was shocked. I stared at him for a minute and then I pulled myself together and went up to him. I said I was a big fan of his. He said something like “gotta love the fans!” He was in the zone because he was focused on his skating, so I didn’t want to bother him too much. I also complimented his steezy tres and switch heelflips. He did a floaty nollie inward heelflip up the euro gap and a nollie bs crooked grind across the kinked rail. The only think I regret is that I didn’t ask to get a picture with him. Oh well. For me the memory is the most important thing.

I'm 50 years old. I skated for about 20 years and I've always followed skating even after I couldn't do it anymore. This is the best solo video part I've ever seen. The music, the feeling, the sick as hell tricks, the editing...etc. Top notch. I'm blown away

not only, he has put out the hardest and best parts for a decade. please check "rise and shine" and "fade to black" (again). these parts also should have gotten him soty. he was way ahead of his time and only 16-18 yrs old.... already the best in the world.

Man I remember back in the day when we were all kids we would come inside from skating and just be going through RUclips just trying to find funny or badass videos to watch, then one day we come across this little kid with dreads absolutely shredding, you just felt instantly attached cause of how good he was and still is. Cinematography is next level.
Ive never skated before but watching people skate is so peaceful to me. I play bass guitar and I get a similar feeling watching people skate like I do when i'm playing music. It's almost like my mind is in a state of meditation i'm not really thing about much. Much love to the skate community I thought I would share my feelings.
That’s what it’s like to skate; nothing matters in that moment except what your feet and your board are doing, and what direction your momentum/weight is going.

I rode bmx and haven’t skated more than a few times (last time 15 years ago). I love it still and watch it daily

Ty evens talked about this in 9club. Nyjah choked in Japan and didnt make the podium and so they just released this as a solo part (no documentary). His next part is for Disorter.

Watching Nyjah's career has been a gift. Haters can hate, but I've been cheering this dude on since he was 12. Watched him win so many contests and drop banger after banger video parts. Nyjah isn't skater of the year, he's skater of a generation. Congrats on another amazing part!
Nyjah, David Loy & chase Webb party video.. they SA a passed out girl and filmed it.. he gave someone lifelong trauma and has had no repercussions from that beside writing a check to keep her from speaking out.

1:46 Been waiting on him to post this clip. I actually got to see him hit this spot. I just happened to be on vacation for a couple days in Santa Monica and he literally parked underneath my hotel room balcony. Super chill dude, let me watch him skate and took a pic with me after he was done. Been watching him since he was little with the dreads so it’s a moment I will always remember! Thank you Nyjah!
Couldn’t take my eyes off the screen for the entire 6:45 minutes. It’s unbelievable what Nyjah can do! Non-skaters won’t understand how hard this is and haters don’t like Nyjah’s style for some nonsense reasons. Nyjah is a legend and will remain a legend forever.

@big red well, what I said is based off of what I've seen in Japanese youth skateboarders over the past few years, Yuto happens to be one of the older ones but if you pay attention to the youth out there, they're on another level, skateboarding is exploding in Japan right now and they add a level of discipline to the sport that I haven't really seen from any other country. For starters, check out Ginwoo Onodera, he's 12.

Damn... Used to be hating on Nyjah for being too good, growing up seeing him since he was a kid with dreadlocks joining the dream team in Element, felt that he was over-rated.. But seeing him evolve to where he is right now, everything he's achieved and all the crazy parts he's released through the years.. i can say nothing else but he's the G.O.A.T. and his greatness will always leave a mark in skateboarding. This part is way way mature and would be any filmer's dream video part to film. Damn.
To me he's almost on Tony's level, not on Rodney's but definitely remarkable as fuck

This is so inspiring, the music, the tricks.
I’m an athlete and I’ve trained a bunch of athletes. The key to this kids greatness is his footwork he could’ve been a sick ass, basketball player, gymnast, or quarterback… This level of athleticism transcends all sports.
Nyjah is literally him.
For someone who trains athletes, you don't know shit about sports. Nyjah Huston would make Kyler Murray look like a giant. You think he could be a star QB or NBA player? Do you only train 10 year olds? Because he is far too small for the sports you named lol
