No, if nyjah didn't win he would have complained through Instagram in front of his plenty of followers and celebrities fans are crazy and sls don't want complaints. If nyjah wins everything's calm. Also, poor nyjah needs to win, otherwise he's going to have existencial, identity and anxiety issues and he's gonna tattoo his ass again.
@@rubytuesday7716 it’s not even about that. when you start consistently hitting bangers, they start to put you into different tier and your scores get lower. if jagger eaton did a 270 nosublunt he’d get a 9.3. whereas someone like midler, jordan, or nyjah did it they would get a 8.5

He didnt excute. He had to stomp on his board to get out of that grind. There is a grading system on how to land tricks “clean” not “sketchy.”

Those saying dashawn one are taking away the importance of a clean those tricks can be. Nyjah had the less difficult tricks but were insanely clean, IMO. Dashawn get some same tricks down on bolts it won’t even be a discussion

The fact that there is no question that Dashawn had the 2 best tricks (big flip front board and nollie inward heel front board) he should've won in my opinion. But if the scoring is what it is, as a Nyjah fan that's cool.
What I really find annoying is the women's scoring. Imagine watching figure skating or literally any other event and women would get scores of 4.xx and be considered elite. Get a grip, find a way to give them 9 Club access and make it exciting.

The thing is, the competition level for the women's segment is rapidly improving, we had an 8,5 score last sls and an 8 yesterday, so it's kinda tricky trying to buff the scores since the room for improvement is there and very feasible. I can definitely see the 9 club happening organically in the next two years... Especially since we have girls like rayssa and momiji, they're just 13! Imagine what they'll be able to do in a couple of years...

@@thorodinson9782 As much as I hate to agree, I do. Women's skating is finally seeing a massive increase in popularity and with it, the amount of competition and skill has increased. Not at the speed of men's skating, but it's getting there. No need to put them on a pedestal, score them as you would a guy and let the competition get to that level. We're already seeing records being broken year after year, it'll get there.

P-rod got robbed in judging. He skated but, in his heat they gave him super low scores because he didn’t do no rails for best trick yet he did huge switch flip tricks super clean down the big set.

@@chancefontaine6681 i am 50-50 on the result. I think if Jordan had a 9.3 for that bigger flip boardslide and then maybe a 9.6 or 9.7 for the inward heel at the end he could have won. Which could have been the points he deserved, but still Nyjah was extremely consistent and technical so he also deserved it. I dont know.
