Dude is like every great skater from each generation rolled into one, while being humble...... And mad respect for the helmet.
Like I said, most pros skate because they love it. He skates because he has too, because it's apart of him. I started skating around 95, and have never seen anything like him over the years. It's crazy watching him because you truly never know what the hell he is going to do.
@Christopher Lee go what him skate more. He can do all that too..
@Christopher Lee he does all that. Watch the video again I saw some pretty good flip outs of boardslides etc. Andy is extremely versatile in his skating.
@Christopher Lee He's the only person I see Impossible in and out of shit lol that's just ignant.
@Christopher Lee you're right. flip in flip out is shit.
i laughed, i cried, i said "what???" like 47 times
:):):)
RIGHT!!!??? Insane...
Glad I wasn't the only one with a tear of joy! Out of the bowl flyout to rail was my favorite! Love the gloves and helmet too!
He doesn't just skate, he's dancing
Filmer: Which tricks will you do in the line?
Andy: Yes
funny xd
If there's a word to describe watching Andy Anderson it's got to be "enjoyable". There are video parts out there that make me think "yeah, I've already seen this before a hundred times". There's none of that with this guy. Every move is creative, it's pure art, it's such a joy to watch.
The god of fluidity and adaptability. Feels like he can hit any surface, at any angle, around any obstacle, and just smooth out.
There are no obstacles, only puzzles.
Deep!
Nice
Makin’ front foot impossibles look TOO EASY. 😳 wow THAT LAST LINE AND LAST TRICK WERE INSANE
Thanks man !
@@authenticandyanderson you're a true artist andy! 💗 beautiful part. merry xmas!
@@authenticandyanderson you’re welcome! ...but seriously, any compliment here doesn’t do your part enough justice. Can’t wait for more🙌🙌 all love and thanks for the Christmas present ;-)
I've never seen one off a handrail.
Andy "all day" anderson because you cant get enough of him dude your the guru of skateboarding.
Watching Andy skate makes me happy. He just breaks every mental barriers and prejudice when he skates, it's a liberating experience.
Exceptional control and creativity 👌 that darkslide melted my face.
Skating was all about steez and style. This man takes that to a new level. Love the way you roll. Keep it up man
Damn, I freaking love this guy.
No one: Well Andy, what else can ya do?
Andy: How about I play piano on the soundtrack?
Wow, good catch, I would've missed that.
Yeah just like in NKA's videos, it's so chill.
Seriously the beats were DOPE 🔥. He did his thing!
How the F do you no comply of a rail!?!? 🤯🤯
How the F do you no comply at all? Never did get the hang of em lol
@@28russ i've always quite liked no comply tricks but this is just insane
Fucking mental, did it with style too!!
How the F do you front foot impossible out of a rail ??
@@mrem7138 What I came to post.
A lot can be said about Andy and his amazing ability to gleam from so many of skateboardings heroes of the past and meld all of their styles into his own unique creative approach to skating, but I have to commend him for his absolute BALLS lately. Some of these tricks are huge, and the fact that he just keeps pumping on that hill bomb line at the end getting insane speed while still doing god knows what flip tricks after cresting the hill. Insane.
ANDY!!!!...Holy friggin’ shiit dude!! Amazing Tricks are One extreme to the other with some mixers in the middle. I love all your skating but my fave was those gnarly AF rails. 10/10
Literally a real life THPS with full special all the time. My favourite skater of all time to watch.
This was a very 'Bones Brigade' part. Very cool
this is PURE skatebarding
Everyone freaks out when he lands tricks 😁 so rad ✌️
Exactly how skating should be. FUN. Plus top level in every style, it's insane. Shout outs to Rodney all the time, and some Daewon too
Best skater of all time
It's like watching a time capsule of skating it's unreal so many freaking styles.
Big fan of dudes like Nyjah and Aurelian but this is some of the most insane skateboarding I've ever seen, this dude is on a different level
Man I love this guy!
This dude has me grinning and giggling. He's pure instinct and creativity poured into skateboarding.
this is on of those skaters who is also entertaining for non skaters, because people who dont skate just see another flippy trick but he does universally cool things.
What a beast!
Creative and unique. Love it.
Helmets are the most logical yet unstylish thing of all time tho.
Love this style of skating. Always loved freestyle ever since I was a kid. Freestyle combined with street skating is just the coolest thing ever
One of the best skate videos on the internet!
SO fun to watch! Smiling and swearing the whole time.
Totally amazing !
I cannot believe how fast he pushed into that front smith in the first clip. Unreal.
Andy Anderson “On The Keys”
and Opening the Doors.
Andy and isamu are my favorite skaters now
How many grinds can you do?
Andy: Uh-huh
Super dope part. Interesting editing on that 5050 no comply at 02:44 though. Scrub through when he no complies out
This guy shreds
Heat
Bro thank you Anthony, finally like mullen he does what the word implies, a TRICK!, love that he has you guessing on WHAT hes gonna do, hes doing tricks!!!
*The* Rodney Mullen of his time. Andy's style is signature.
He is like Jackson creative and adapting to things, like water. It's living art of popping like M Jackson was the king of pop music.
Bro you’re incredible 🤙🏼 I would love to surf with you! Probably would be the best time ever
HOLY CRAP MAN!! :O
lit man did the music yourself as well making it look like art
the one foot pinch on that 50
Imagine being that old dude that told Andy he couldn't skate on that monument that time and then watching this video later on RUclips lol😜🤣
good lord!
Wow
His helmet saved him a potential trip to the hospital on that first slam
He's the new age gonz...
Badass
This dude makes skateboarding look E.Z…
Literally makes me want to skate, even though i about knock my teeth out anytime i do!
His trick combos are like I’m playing tony hawks again, his stats would be insane for balance and manuals for sure. I tell my students, he’s a modern Mullen. They both have that love and humbleness for the sport. 🛹🫡👊
Andy is the complete culmination of every era in skateboarding
I couldn’t agree more
Absolutely
I think Andy Anderson is pretty good on the skateboards.
Saved me saying the exact same thing! Absolutely otherworldly talent.
@@kfleming78 And that's what I appreciates about him.
He's more comfortable on a skateboard than most people are on two feet.
I agree his control is insane.
skateboard > feet
He was born on a skateboard it seems
I was thinking "this guy probably never skated before" reading this comment but after watching this video I 100% agree lol
The sickest part is how he does really creative stuff that stuck up people might call gimmicky, and then throws huge, grinds, airs, and flip tricks, just in case they thought all he had was the left field stuff. Best part I’ve ever seen.
dude the way he mixes up his trick selection and stitches together all types of skate styles.. unreal!! and it's all so refined and smooth looking 🔥 an absolute wizard
@Michael Mahogany I should correct myself, it’s my favorite part.
@Christopher Lee lame as hell ….. 🥴
Horrible wonderful life is still top for me.
Sucks that even when he does gnarly stuff its not gnarly because of that stupid helmet. That thing is ridiculous.
This dudes relationship with his board is like very few things ive seen in life. I get the same feeling watching Rodney. So rad
Absolutely no question one of kind!!!! In the world of skateboarding Rodney and Andy will forever be known for changing the way we look at the sport!!! I'm so grateful for their contribution to the art!!!!
Yea, it’s the same feeling I got watching Rodney back in the day. Amazing
Deawong, Rodney and Andy are the big 3 in tech skating
Totally agree. Andy IS the board!
Man you're not the only one. I'm still waiting on a Rodney Mullen/Andy Anderson collab.
After watching Rodney, Haslam and Daewon in my early teen years, this guy is the first skater to deliver this special feeling of wonder... Of completely messing up everything I thought I knew about street skateboarding yet still being so goddamn true and real about it. Love him.
He has no switch or nollie tho so can't be compared, he is so limited not being able to skate regular pretty much at all
The guys is going down in history with his mix of street and freestyle, bringing the two together
Just like Rodney mullen
You ever heard of kilian Martin? If not check out one of his older vids
Don't forget vert
He's pretty solid at transition as well.
But he also does transition skating and freaking off-road, haha.
Love it!
Hi Jonny! Grüße in die Schweiz
Merry Christmas Jonny
Merry Christmas mr Giger
Agreed! Just makes you wanna skate
Why you lying, you know you hate this air walking in a game of skate ass kid haha.
If this was the 90s I'd have worn that VHS tape out already from so many rewinds! Killer part dude!
for real though...while the vid is *technically* 6 minutes & 10 seconds, if you include the amount of times I hit the 'back' button to re-watch certain tricks it clocked in at a more accurate ~15-20mins long 😂🔥
@@mkm1856 oh for sure! I wish there was a skaters/directors commentary you could switch on. Would extend it even more :)
If this was the 90s Andy Anderson would be a world megastar and the best skater in the world unanimously
Front smith - nose grind - lip slide - 5050 - blunt slide. That’s a damn Tony hawk pro skater combo
Not sure I could do it even in thps
that´s: 5x6376 points :p
he's a tony hawk created skater that came to life
Special meter would be filled right up
I THOUGHT THE SAME THING!!! LOL video game combos
3:18 he just THPS combo'ed that ledge, lol. The grind to front foot impossible at the end blew my mind. This is the stuff that I loved as a kid skating, innovation. Thanks for taking skating to the next phase.
Hes by far the goat of the new age. Him and mullen are now the gods
He straight up looked in the instruction manual and did every single grind possible
i was just thinking about how much his style is like a THPS player character.
He definitely filled his special gauge on that combo 🤣
@@Phillyjoe2 He stuck on permanently special engaged cheat mode 😂
Amazing!
Merry Christmas Braille!
@@kagetupa701 Merry Christmas
I wanted to say Christmas but I was to late
Hah I beat you to it merry Christmas!
First tryyyyyy!
I bet this is a part that Rodney Mullen gets hyped on.
your not wrong
@@sudo9866 I'd query if you might really be him, but I'd also expect Rodney to spell "you're" correctly.
@@poetsrear bro what
Rodney loves the art of skateboarding so much that he'd think any part is awesome, even one from a new skater.
Especially 4:08. If you've watched Rodney's USC Tedtalk, you know he loves his darkslides.
there's literally no skater like Andy. He is just so insanely mind blowing
Crazy how he just hits the hugest rails with no mercy
He is the one guy that inspired me to learn how to do fakie and switch and nose Manual
*other. You’re implying Andy doesn’t exist haha
@@超虎生活 "Do you think that's asphalt you're skating?"
I remember in an interview the interviewer asked him "What type of skateboarder do you are? Street skaboarder? Ramp skateboarder? Freestyle skateboarder?" And he just said "I'm a skateboarder.". Touché. He dominates everything, go fast, go big and still really creative. It was nice to see this video!
He even went off-road for a clip. The man's going to dominate nature now.
Part of the problem is when people have to separate disciplines of skating, and Andy’s a great example that it shouldn’t matter!
That 50/50 front foot impossible out on a handrail is a kind of magic! INSANE!
And it was so unexpected! He barely preps for it, then just whips it around lightning quick.
This is a great xmas present damn andy is spoiling us with his ultra 100 stats balance
Sorry mom but this is the best christmas gift I got this year. So many mind blowing clips! Also plz restock his Pro Model ive been trying to get either size for months :(
I just bought one from braile. Go check if there is still some left.

Except if this was him reviewing the video he would try to roast him for the different style tricks lmao.
Please do a review of this part ninja!
I just don’t think people understand just how amazing this guy is
Some of us do man, trust me. Unreal tricks, its like literally THPS in real life.
Im one of them. I rather look at Milton Martinez, or pedro Delfino.
I guess I like there style of skating better.
@@sk8fm448 I just check out Milton x games part , he’s fucking insane skates so fucking fast
Few thing both these dudes have is balls and control over their boards
@@sk8fm448 Those dudes have huge balls and send it on big stuff, that's to be respected. They're some of the best at what they do (I think Jamie Foy and a few others hang with them). But Andy's skating is crazy diverse in how he throws in freestyle and manual variations along with streetplants and almost every other variation of skateboarding. He's a bit Daewon, a bit Rodney, a bit Natas, a bit hesh...his skill level in every area of skateboarding is just unheard of in one person. Most skaters specialize , Andy can skate pretty much anything and at a high level.
I´m convinced he is a renaissance man on a skateboard
Helmet gang!
Hey George!
That’s what’s up.⛑⛑⛑⛑🪖🪖
..lovin' the gloves too!
I miss SLS !
I started wearing a helmet because of you and Andy!
At the "Tony Hawk pro skater 1" age, this kind of tricks were just a pure fantasm. I love the way skateboard evolve. Congrats Andy, your mental is impressive.
exactly what I was thinking lol I'm like "wait these are the tricks I would do on the tony hawk game hitting all the buttons haha
Tony hawk himself even said Andy is a thps character pretty much
I think my favorite part about Andy as a skater is just his absolute control. It doesn’t matter what, or how he’s skating, he’s beyond comfortable. To me it’s almost like he’s redefining what it means for your skateboard to be an extension of yourself. Excellent part!!
50-50 front foot impossible out on a hand rail! 🤯 This dude got so good he’s just toying with us.
When you hear Andy talk about skateboarding, his stories, his knowledge of skate history, it all makes sense why he skates the way he does. Andy is an evolution of skateboarding, while repping the past. I love it.
That moment when he takes one foot off the board I looked around my room like "anybody seeing this shit?".
The video should have been called 'Balance'.
Uh, which time?
Thats my dawg
O3
Spencer when’s story time number 6 coming out bro
You and Andy have gotta be my two favorite RUclips skateboarders to watch. Hands down
Both of you guys are captivatingly interesting to watch
He’s ain’t a dog he’s a real ripper
This is hands down the best skate part I have ever seen. His creativity and technique is unreal. Absolutely amazing.
Fun fact: Andy was born with his helmet on. His mom was never the same again.
This man is basically kick buttowski
lol
Comment Of The Year 😂
Lol.
Can we talk about how brilliant of an F U to all the haters that opening rail was. Most guys would close with that rail. Shut down the haters right away and then do what he loves.
That was exactly what I thought. Stoked he showed the bails and the eventual make. You can talk all the shit because he wears gloves and a helmet but you cannot deny the rails he hits in this part. Just because he does freestyle doesn't mean he can't drop hammers as well. So stoked!
@@hassan4773 mind blowing to me that he gets hate because he wears gloves and a helmet. like... what? 'bro you're so lame, you're trying not to get concussions... what a loser'. I dont get it.
@@wildcat31772 yep. there is a reason tony hawk can still do what he does at 50+ and one of those reasons is definitely the pads/ helmet etc. i think i would rather still be skating in my 50's. the man that skates for the fun and doesnt care what he looks like is the bigger man to me. if all you are about is fashion. that almost diminshes the baddass-ness of not wearing pads in the first place.
but i get it, i was young once and never wore pads. i still dont really. just wrist braces/ gloves. but they are totally worth it. i had massive wrist problems from falling on them so much and it can be hard to hold down a job if you keep re-injuring them. after the wrist braces its a non issue, falling no loner re-injures them. i respect andy so much for just doing his thing and not caring what people think. plus its a cool oldschool vibe anyway in my opinion that helmet etc.
its in the fkn rain, like it is soaked
Awesome rail and it's downtown Long Beach! Extra props for that
Didn't even give the people seeing Andy skate and do wonky tricks for the first time say, "Yeah cool one foot manny slappy thingy bro, but can he....."
Open it up with a near 30 stair handrail. Yes, yes he can.
hahaha i feel like he included those just to shut em up
Such an inspiration to modern day skateboarding, unique style, has an organic yet methodical feel, my mind is blown with this video part 🤘🤯🤘
The tech of Mullen the balls of Cardiel. Amazing skater.

@@mikelawrencesk8 Andy does go to some gnarly spots. I mean, look at all that crumbled concrete.
@Hugh G. Rection you don’t want to hear it? Huh, almost like the internet revolves around you. Crazy
@Hugh G. Rection awww she’s upset. I guess you’re mad that you: A.) Can’t skate. B.) Can’t play music. C.) Are trying to judge someone’s opinion on a skateboarding video, a sport about individualism. And D.) the realization that no one gives a shit about your feelings. Go cry to your mommy and get your participation trophy. Stay out of a scene that you clearly know nothing about.
I've been part of the skate scene since 03' and this kid is by far THE most creative skater I've ever seen. This is as artistic as skating get's right here. The dude can not only freestyle but he can huck it down big ass stairs and rails as well.
same here ,well said!!!!
He's definitely part of that really "odd duck club", like leo romero, louie barletta - or even neil blender and lance mountain before them. It's such a left of center style and it's really cool to see how far this kid's taking it. How he maintains balance like that is beyond me.
