Sorry for asking you specifically but can you maybe explain me how they count the points in the last final round? Why do they need for example over 9 points when they are only a few points apart from each other?

I hate how the judges show so much favoritism towards Nyjah, seriously it’s ridiculous, Horigome deserved a 9 for that Inward Heel.
An inward heel is not worth a 9.

Everyone hates it because everyone finds a way to hate whos on top.. straight..
On top of that Nyjah has already done that nollie inward heel trick over a huge gap back in 2011.... and barely got a 9 if im remembering correctly
I'm not so sure. A joslin nollie inward heel revert right there would probably be a 9 flat-9.1 at most. So a regular nollie inward cant be 9 too.
I like Nyjah He's a beast but Yuto's first run was better than Nyjah's first. The judges always give Nyjah a boost just because of who he is.

It’s cause Nyjah adds in more tricks than other skaters runs and flips his board a ton, Yuto does a lot of nollie stuff which is hard, but the board doesn’t leave his feet a whole lot, if he through in some flip into grinds in his run he’d be unstoppable

It's such a clever strategy that Nyjah does a stellar trick that forces them to score him big -> gap back lip 44:48
and then he adds a twist to it, to force them to score him even higher -> gap kickflip back lip 1:12:00

Nyjah landed an even bigger nollie inward heel over a bigger gap back in 2011 and it wasnt in the high nines if im remembering...

People complain about Nyjah's scores, but while Carlos Ribeiro had 5 tricks in his 8.4 run, Nyjah had TEN TRICKS in his 9.0 run, most of them just as technical as Carlos' or more. That's a difference of WAY more than 0.6 in my opinion.

I notice how unfairly Yuto is scored on SLS contest by watching old vids. First run he just does 7 tricks, street and ramp, weird combinations all non-stoping, no fail, for a 8.9
In his first run Nyjah did 10 tricks with speed, super clean, and not a single one was on the same feature. Hard to beat that.
@@crietzsche not a matter of who done best, by beeing a judge, U don´t score people by how good or bad the last skater was, U just gotta have a blind scoring for everyone
Yuto is consistently over scored. I've literally watched other skaters do the same tricks, both done perfectly, and yuto gets higher. You're being biased bc you like yuto.

2. Im not saying saying what nyjah did wasn't easy but not to hard at the same time to lock in on a kickflip front board on a rail to fakie
3. Yuto had more air time and did a nice *NOLLIE INWARD HEEL* off a bigger bump than nyjah got on the center stage, and was probably 10ft in the air to gap over to flat which he should have got ah 9 for

There are pre-eliminations.. i think he didn't made it to the finals.

He's the best contest skater. Because of his consistency. Yeah the guy is amazing but there's skaters better at other things just like nyjah is better at some that they aren't.

It ain’t about being the best. Nyjahs a robot, guy can land any trick bolts and make it look easy which is absolutely mind blowing. But not nearly as fun to watch as someone with a more individual style for some people.
