Thank you so kindly for the special words of encouragement. I just went through cancer of the throat and you lifted my soul with those words you spoke. Most of my hero’s are gone now, but that song was used at Merle Travis’s funeral and has always been special to me. My father and uncle taught me to play when I was very young and I have never lost the love for finger style playing. I played it
When it wasn’t cool to play. Glad to see another generation come along to appreciate it still.
