You’re the most patient guy I’ve remember seeing in 42 years. I aspire to be more like you.
I don't own an EUC but I'm becoming a repair master watching these videos. I was going to buy the Falcon but now I'm back to wanting the V14. It looks so easy to work on.
Hahaha, V14 is super easy to work on. Still has room for improvement - but one of the easiest.
OMG this video was full of "That's What She Said!" missed opportunities but i digress. Thanks for the video i'm due to receive a V14 50s soon and this is must know info.
Thanks for the upload, always a treat watching these videos :)
EUC manufacturers should really take note of Inmotion V14 setup here, with how easy a tyre change, and repair in general is. This should be standard going forward. And that groove in the rim is awesome!
Yeah, its super easy. A lot of good small things add up to an easy tire change process
Perfect timing! I just had my first crash with my V14 and need to replace the panels that got scratched up. I figured I would replace the street tire with the knobby tire while I’m at it. Thanks for the great video!
Oh! Awesome to hear. I love it when the timing works out for someone :)
the v14 seems like a really great wheel, good ip rating, good torque, good suspension, good stock pads, okay-ish battery, okay price and now I see it is super easy to disassemble, my only issue with it is the top speed, I'd feel more comfortable with a bigger safety margin
but other than that, I regret getting the v11y as my starter wheel haha, I've already been looking at the v14 after my first 50 km :/
How did the tubeless tire go? Did it work?
Tire change is so much easier, than S18, I am impressed.
That's brilliant 👏
This might be my next wheel.
Good choice!
Thanks you, best video! We are waiting for more videos about v14! :)
Sure thing! What kind of videos are you looking for?
@@2cells1pack Great content! I am a V14 owner but it is my first EUC. I would love to know about the settings in the app and suspension settings. Also, one more question. When I am riding and look down at my tire, it is not perfectly straight. I see a slight wobble. Is this normal?
@@pbuehner A slight wobble can just be the tire not being mounted straight on the rim. Firstly, is it inflated enough?
A rim without much of a lip in combination with a tire lacking a stiff, well-defined bead, might promote such a thing.
To check it's mounted straight on the rim, or not... on each side of the wheel, check the distance between the edge of the rim and the line on the tire wall, ensuring the distance between the two is consistent around the circumference.
There is usually a marking/line on the tire a small distance from the rim edge. It can be seen in his video on the tire and looks to be .5cm from rim edge.
If the gap changes during rotation then the tire isn't sitting on the rim straight. That being the case, you might need to deflate the tire a little and attempt to manipulate it so as to make sure that gap between rim and line on the tire is consistent throughout the circumference.
Pushing down on the edge of the tread toward the rim on one side will close the gap in that area theoretically, but, may also widen the gap on the other side which is probably what is needed because typically the gap is wide on one side and narrow on the other. Sometimes, bouncing the wheel on the ground can achieve the same result but then, this isn't s bicycle wheel so maybe don't try that.
The gap should be consistent/even for the whole circumference as well as being the same spacing on left and right sides i.e. both sides having an even .5cm gap, not 1.5cm one side and .5cm the other.
That is the simplest explanation for a slight wobble. It could also be the tire molding (you'd expect to hear multiple reports if that were the case) and less likely, the rim has a slight bend in it - perhaps if you'd been doing some exciting jumps and bottoming out the suspension.
@@GroinsNZ Thank you so much for such a detailed reply. I haven't done any wild jumps but I have crashed a few times. : ) The tire looked like this when it arrived so I will try the deflate and straighten technique. I have been running it at about 30psi so I don't think that it is underinflated. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.
@@2cells1pack Replacing bearings video. Regular problem on v14. I would bookmark it as a guide.
That tire change was so easy. Compared to the v12 definitely! Thank you!
It was one of the easiest tire changes i've done.
Did you post the video of the test ride❓if yes could you send a link, I would like to watch it
CHRISTINE ROCKS! Thanks for this - you guys are the best - incredibly helpful.
:) She is definitely amazing!
A lot of steps to change a tire. Thank you for the detailed instruction video.
On the Extreme Bull X-Men. Remove pads, remove 12 identical bolts. Change tire.
Oh, I've never seen the X-Men so didn't know it was that easy also.
Changing tire on the X-Men is easy but then you wouldn't have a suspension or a trolley handle. No thanks!
I'm looking to unload my Master for one of these. I always loved the maneuverability of a 16' tire and given the torque of this model, it seems like a logical choice.
Go for it!
Bravo Inmotion! Love my V14 even more after watching this video!
Right on! I was very surprised how good of a job they've done. This wheel is definitely above my expectations by a long shot.
I watch this video I like and I subscribe at the same time this video is so helpful and I really appreciate . You guys are so amazing. You save my money.
Thanks !
Having a motor cable connector also would be a dream :)
I don't think it's needed, plus you can't find a decent sized connector capable of high current. Connector = resistance = heat generation. Point of weakness.
Which valve stem did you use?
I used the straight valve stem . Stubby one
Well done, Christine! 😀
Is it not the same tyre or is it a tubeless tyre with the same tread pattern? I guess you could use some kind of tyre glue if it starts to leak air?
It’s the same tire, which isn’t tubeless. But it has been holding air
you guys are super fun!
thanks for the video!
Our pleasure!
I have a V14, and an Extreme is on its way. Love this video. Please do a tire change video for the Begode Extreme. 😊😊😊
I'll look into procuring an extreme for a tire change video.
@2cells1pack LOL. All kidding aside, you produce really great content. I assumed you have a network of EUC friends, colleagues, and enthusiasts that you tap into for all of the wheels seen in your videos. My apologies if that's not true. I'm not sure, but I don't think I've ever seen an influencer share much behind the scenes material, such as, who we are, why we share content, or just how hard it is to do (often the viewer doesn't know your story). Again, I appreciate you, and I apologize if I came across as flippant or disrespectful. I hope you never stop producing content. It's outstanding. Be well.
Thank you..! Awesome work, my new tyre and tubes arrived yesterday... perfect timing. :-)
Awesome. Love when it’s perfect timing
Здравствуйте . Какой длины(размер) безкамерный вентиль применил?
I used a stubby pull through valve
Как общая длина клапана?
Love your videos also I love my new v14..... Such a fungenerator.
What was the tire insert you used for the tubless tire
Very nice and simple video, thank you! And what about seals for main bearing maintenance please? How difficult is it when your EUC makes strange noises while riding.
Depends on the noise. The bearings are better protected now - but still not 100%
Thx
And Christine does it without breaking a nail.
Great design
Do you mean you can remove the inner tube and mount the tire without it?
Thanks for the video!
You're welcome!
Very good job😀👍
Thanks!
The video was very useful for when I needed to do my tyre change. Question though how did the tyre pressure hold up with you changing it to tubeless? Did it work?
It's been holding pressure perfectly !@
Is there a torque spec for the motor bolts? If there is it would be nice to include that info in the video / future videos😊
Good tip. The recommendation is usually around 13-15 ft-lbs.
They are short screws, don't use a drill, it will strip the threads which is pretty poor for a $5k wheel.
Pristine Christine!
She killed it. BEAST MODE!
Btw, how is the stanchions and pillars on the V14 compared to Begode wheels? Are there any kind of seals preventing dirt from entering the pillars? Does it also use those graphite copper bushings?
Yeah, they said it had automotive grade seals but I never took it apart
Indeed a very promising step in the right direction IM is going with the ease of accessibility and parts integration here - but man, I need them to bring back their smaller and lighter wheels in this updated form. With begode's mten5 release inevitably soon, I would love if IM figures out a way to utilize their RS scooter wheel and make an 11" raptor controller EUC..
Mten5???
@@2cells1pack Still early speculation, but pictures of recent begode pamphlets have been circulating in fb groups showing "Mten5, A5, Photon, T4 Max, Blitz, Race, and Future". I remember my Tesla T3 had "MCM6" on my certificate which never came to be, so it could just be placeholders, but the mten4 is such a great niche workhorse wheel, I'm willing to purchase future iterations when they come.
Ah yeah, speculation
@@2cells1pack I see an mten/a-series style headlight tease on an upcoming Begode Facebook live event 🤤😀🤞
This comment aged well 🤣 I may need to give it a try even though I already have an mten4 and a Falcon
probably the best design by inmotion after v10f....i would buy this but is way over my budget...
Yeah they did a good job
Can I use V14 original tires as tubeless tires?
Where can I find the straight air nozzle?
Finally, will there be any subsequent updates to this video using test reports?
I was doing this as a personal test. Not meant to be a formal test with reports.
Ok,thx.
Thanks for the great video tutorial, it's very helpful! I have one question about V14, maybe you know the answer. The Inmotion app has been updated recently and in the changelog I see "V14 model adds dual battery mode". What kind of dual battery mode is added for V14?
I’m not sure actually!
Only if you have 50s cells, you can remove two batteries and run thr wheel with only 2 batteries. Same power, less weight, and half the run time.
Hi, do you know how much the motor weighs?
Too much. It's super heavy.
노 튜브 타이어 ? 굿!
What is size of tube in inmotionv14? Thank you!
16x3.0 tube
@@2cells1packthank you! Could you recommend me which one is good?
@ I want to
Make sure. Is it size tube or tire?
Panels were difficult until you showed us the correct way to reinstall. Charger for this wheel is fragile.
I haven't had any issues with my charger ?
wow! it's super easy, I just remember my operations with v11 - it's was annoying
yeah, super fast and easy.
would you recommend V14 or s!6 after you had both, please? (Considering suspension design, etc for a heavy person) And what Michelin tire size could you install
Depends on rider size and use case. If you're a smaller rider, V14 might be a little big. The suspension on the V14 is superior to the S16.
i dont think Michelin would fit, as V14 is R12
Why on earth the wheels don't come with a hollow wheel spindle for the motor wires so the wheel can be bolted to the bottom of the forks like normal bicycles. Easy puncture or tire change surely.
This is already pretty easy
For some reason i though stock tire was tubeless
What is going on?! No tools! Christine strong!!
She’s a beast !
this is progress
It was really good.
so the v14 is capable of running with only 1 out of 4 battery pack. can we test that?
Yes, its possible. Not sure why you'd want to - but it has been verified.
@@2cells1pack you don't "want" to run it with 1 battery, but it would be great to know that it can run even when 3 packs failed.
I think someone tested it
Inmotion's mistake to put tire valve on wrong side, ofc for tubeless its does not matter, but for tubed.. its difficult to change tube
👍
Lose some weight for your wife, or eat healthy bc it is the major factor dictating longevity. Die at 65 due to scary heart failure or 110 still feeling great until your last day. Your choice.
It's on my list of todo
as a BEGODE fan boi i'm very disappointed with INMOTION. There marketing skills failed to inform me.
Top features of the V14 I did not know & BEGODE kiddy should know.
1) Suspension Geometry is correct.
2) Rim has Deep groove for tool-less tyre removal.
3) Battery connectors are waterproof, automotive grade.
4) Batteries are cold. aka BMS wakes up battery when connected to mainboard. no spark. SAFE
5) Batteries are 128V each. Wheel will work an 1 pack.
5.5) if Batteries are different voltages it will self balance.
6) Motor bolts don't have a spacer shim that is a pain in to align, Every BEGODE kid knows this.
8) Get what you pay for.
Excellent video. This wheel is a step ahead.
I have a V14, have to agree, but it's got crappy firmware and has odd pedal behaviour not experienced with other models i've owned Like V13 V12 and V11, but i feel it's the best T4 model you can currently buy LOL
Yes, a definite marketing failure. They should have pointed out all these benefits
