My opinion - 40 mins is good and 1 hour is enough and make all the time worth it meaning do workout and rest dont waste time on music and talk

I take 1hr usually...but 2hr30min if it's crowded
I dont know why my workout finishes is just 30 min i do 15 sets per muscle group but i am not satisfied with my workout duration so what should i do to expand my workouts because i want to workout 1:30 hrs a day

Sir..m doctor by profession...n i wrk on shifts...i have two nyts..i usually go to gym after nyt shift immediately after doing 16 hrs nyt duty. I feel really difficult to do so...can i skip gym for dis two days ??..n otherwise i want to nly 1 hr wrkout..lyk widout talking wid frnds n ol...i don't take my phone to gym ..n i don't talk to anyone un necessarily

I usually spend around 1½ hours including warm-ups
Usually train in Push Pull Leg split.
And I think its enough.
There are people in my gym who are there for 2-3 hours everyday i mostly see them talking though.
I spend 1.5 hour , i take 2 min rest because of heavy compound lifts and i do abs alternative days , it feels like I'm not ready for next set after the compound lift so i take longer rests , correct me where I'm wrong please !
I work out 6 days a week for 30 minutes push pull leg and Sunday I walk for 60 minutes should work out to 45 minutes or continue with 30 minutes of workout every day

Thanks a lot sir 🙏 I was really anxious about that I only spent 1:30 hrs in gym and I get really exhausted now I know I have to just programme my routine better and do the exercises more accurately and consistently 👌
Same way i feel. Now i will re organise my workout. I will reduce my time in gym from 2hr to 1hr 20min( 1hr for workout and 10 mins for post workout cardio, 5 min warmup, 5 min post workout stretch and protein shake)

Best video in that topic .... people (my friends and few gym mates) tend to spend 2hr in the gym when they leave outside life but generally after few months or so things get worse outside (study relationship job what not) then they find no other option to quit gym completely. But I trained 2 muscles,biceps and triceps , first I did biceps and took a break for 10 min I had a chocolate for some energy and then I did triceps.

I can't finish my workout before 1:30 minute , i do full body workout . And i believe the person who gave this workout. I don't know if i should cut out the sets ? Last week i reduced sets , and i didn't got that much intensity .

It's all about intensity of workout if your intensity is very very then 30 minutes are enough but the intensity of workout is low then it take time

Sir I agree to u that 1 hr is enough but what about if for more better hypertrophy we take more number of sets even we lift heavy weight for gaining strength at that time we required rest so for that workout time extends half hour more so is it appropriate? Or it could be considered as overtraining
there is a difference in training for strength and training for hypertrophy
if ur lifting for strength, then u will be lifting quite heavy and need more rest, and for lifting for hypertrophy the weight will be heavy, but the time between sets also reduce, so the total intensity is high and volume is low, which limits the time
Hello sir, I'm jus following ur videos for my workout. I does 2 hours with full concentration, includes weight training followed by cardio. But my problem is I've cholesterol problem, but it's not reducing at all. Can u pls suggest to reduce cholesterol levels!
There are ways to.do it
For very basic
Have 3-4 bulbs of garlic every morning empty stomach with 60ml aloe vera
Have lots of salads every day
I train 4 dys a week...I keep myself under 10 reps only..I usually only do free weight exercises..I use machines only fr the pumping nd for contraction of muscles...and my goal is muscle growth...my training session is always around 1 hour max..bcz I get exhausted..is it a right approach?I take rest of 2 to 3 mins between the sets bcz I lift heavy...

Akshay, your videos really remove a few cobwebs. Same with this one. I am 55 and I daresay I push myself hard. Just one clarification. I take 2 min max rest when working out a large muscle group like quads, glutes or lats. Lesser than that but at least 1 min with all other workouts. I think this is optimised for my CP-ATP cycle. Should I count these rest periods in my workout? And yes, I am focussed.
