Mazda is missing the point in this 3 row SUV by forcing people to have captains chairs in the second row on the higher trim levels. This is specially true since the third row seats are tight for adults.
@@VagabondBuilds What trim starts with LED ? Bottom one is Select for 40K USD so it is ok but all other trims should have it standard in LED instead off silver plastic
@@kdomster9141 I'm not sure, but I can find out next time when I stop at the dealership. It would be nice to be able to attach a picture here, but RUclips does not offer that option.
@@VagabondBuilds Exactly, Mazda should not use strategy of cheapening out on CX90 as it's flagship , and even 40Kusd trim should allow for 200uad worth proper LED DRL , many sub 30K cars do
@@VagabondBuilds 21 inch wheels get flats more easily. Tires cost more, and ride rougher. I have opened my moonroof only once (when I bought the vehicle). It is more fragile and may leak. Why spend money on something you don't want nor use?
I prefer a bench seat the smaller sunroof Mazda cheap out on the rear lights that go into hatch need surround view for the price the highlander is a better choice for me
My turbo S has a digital cluster. The visual effects when switching from normal to sport is awesome!!! Thanks for coming by and filling this while I was working. It was nice to meet you guys.
I just hate chrome. I wished manufacturers would stop thinking that higher trims should get a larger wheel, some of us like small wheelss with big tires. I ike offroad, so low profile is a deal breaker.
This Turbo V-6 only has about 26 HP more than a four banger Turbo. That is not enough of a difference given two extra cylinder and 1/4 more engine size methinks.
Replacing the CX-9 the new CX-90 will offer powerful engine options.
❤
Good review! Thanks for doing the comparison.
Thanks for watching!

I see your point honestly.
latest trend is captains chairs for whatever reason
Families are having fewer children. This is an excellent car for that trend
The Bose and the seat memory buttons on the premium are nice.
I hear you! I’m a fan of Bose sound system.
I’m convinced the added cost for the Premium Trim is justified now. Great review.
Thanks! 👍
I got the select trim. The only motivation for me to go higher was the retractable sunshade
Haha. So you didn’t go higher?
Are DRL hockey stick shaped an actual LED or just piece of silver of plastic?
The one on the bottom is just a Silver piece, not an actual LED bar.

I would chose the 19 inch tires everyday. I would skip the chrome trim. Hate panoramic moonroofs.
Why ?

I think I prefer the 19in wheel design more..
Why ? Just what you prefer?
19s maybe a better match for softer ride for parts of the county where roads are not perfect

Okay. Thanks for the input. Appreciate it.
no digital cockpit?
Not for these trim levels.

this video could easily be 4 minutes shorter for the sake of efficiency..thanks for the review anyway
You probably are right. We actually talked about that last week.. thanks for the constructive criticism!
preferred plus has the 8 passenger option and the premium doesn't.
Really? That’s for sure?

Why not just change the wheels.
@Vagabond Builds that's what I've done on the past, but it hurts to replace such something that i would like the option from the manufacturer .
Some dealers may work with you to swap the wheels out from a lower trim? It's worth asking
I think the chrome gives it more class. use to be the low in model did not have chrome.

Yes. Good info and perspective! So you would do the 4 cylinder?
Hate chrome and Bose! JbL
Goodness. I can understand the chrome but Bose is a very good sounding system
Still a Mazda
Still Edward
A nice Mazda
No like !?
