    You just diagnosed my jeep! I’ve been trying to find out what’s wrong but different people told me different things. Thank you. Mine makes the same exact noise

      Here in Brazil..
      same issue.
      They test and test for millions of miles to forget that a movement can loose a simple nut.

    I just assumed it was my skid plate that keeps coming loose but this matches the sound much better. Def, going to suggest this to my shop.

    Fobbed off by 4 garages saying "they couldn't hear anything" and this is exactly what's wrong. It's like they couldn't be bothered to simply tighten something
    Thanks for the video

    I just had some mechanics put some motor mounts in and did some work on underneath my car and the same thing happened by this video. I did it myself. Thank you so much respect😢😂😂😂😅❤

    Yes thank you for this video. I just replaced all 3 motor mounts and still had that clunking noise, they needed to be replaced anyway, but watching this video saves me from a bunching of not really knowing what to do to easily fixing the problem. So again BRAVO SIR YOU MADE IT A LOVELY DAY 😊

    Very common issue on the Renegades! Always the sway bar links

    Exact same noise on my girlfriends jeep renegade and she was super convinced of a noise and I couldn’t find it either so a mechanic look at it and they ended up replacing the right end link and the car drives like new, never even noticed it didn’t since it only had 20k miles at the time.

    It’s bad sway links. Same problem on mine and new ones fixed it

    Hey I'm trying to explain this to a dealership but they can't find it. How can I describe this

      It’s hard to convince, come to a good technician to work on your car or vehicle.

    What would the torque specification be for these?

    Mine were just replaced and after two weeks they started up again? Could the nuts be loose?

    • @autorepairprocedures
      @autorepairprocedures  Год назад +1

      Yes, there is a possibility. If you didn’t tighten the bolt properly eventually it will get loose.
      Or not quality parts might cause this too. And/or struts are bad or control arm bushing might loose/torn.

    Does anyone know what REAR suspension scheme the jeep renegade limited fwd 1.6 mjet has? mcpherson or torsional axis?

    Do you suggest having it up on a lift or jacked up when tightening these?

      I hope so too. Get the vehicle to your good technician and hopefully can find the problem. Noise is very hard to pin point. Best of luck to you.👍

    Engine mount?

    • @autorepairprocedures
      @autorepairprocedures  Год назад +1

      It was sway bar link pin. The nuts were not fully tighten, so it was making clunking noise when the vehicle drove over bumps. No, it was not the engine mount.

    • @georgedickson2350

      Was this easily fixed? When the nuts were tightened was it fine?
