  • Disconnecting your Sway Bar is a great way to get more articulation and traction when off roading, but it's not always so good when going On-roading. Today I'll show you a cool new sway bar disconnect from Suspension Direct Inc. (SDI) that operates automatically so you can keep driving fast or slow and it keeps you flexy for the fun stuff, and connected for the street. SDI is offering the new E-LInk Sway Bar links for Jeeps now and for Raptors, Side by Sides and newer Toyota 4x4's soon.

Man, this Jeep is truly a rescue. Was in such rough shape and now is an off-road tank

I’m loving the new outro with what’s clearly a Jeep 4.0L startup!

Very interesting! This is basically the same concept as the Toyota KDSS swaybar. Toyota now finally developed a selectable front swaybar disconnect like the rubicon. But at the same time, Jeep can now have “KDSS” as well. All came full circle!

Put the Carli sway bar on my Ram just because of this. SDi really needs to hook us up!
Have CJ7 built with 90s magazine tech and JK with 2010 tech.
Definitely selling the JK to build a JL with everything SDi sells for it!

Pretty cool option. Tazer with Swaykill with good shocks has been great for my Rubicon to get a comfy ride at a faster than stock speeds/2wd.

I've been following the SDI E Click systems since they started working with Carli and I think it's awesome especially the fact that they made a universal option for any remote reservoir shocks. And I appreciate your sentiment about it being an option and not a necessity depending on the vehicle and it what it does and I think these sway bar links can be something awesome for getting the most out of a lot of vehicles on and off road. Thanks for putting this video together!

The SDI e click for the raptors that don’t have life valve shocks from the factory is a complete bad dude setup!

So basically you installed an "Autoride" electronic shock type setup. Those came factory on my 2004 Yukon XL2500, 4x4, 8.1ltr. and other GMC vehicles. Soon as I bought my Yukon....took out the Autoride system.....plugged in these resistors that fool the factory computer into thinking the Autoride shocks are still there. Installed Bilstein 5100's. Works great for me. The factory AR shocks are expensive to replace.

Looking forward to your review in the rocks. I haven't went to antirock because I don't want to sacrifice any articulation. If these work good and get full articulation im in. I'm currently runinng SDI Pro kit on my JLU.

When those swaybar and links are in the release position, can you get full articulation out of the front axle? They seem a little bit shorter than the displacement I have seen with conventional disconnects.
I don’t remember from your e-click review video, but can you make your own modes? Can you go into a computer or the little programmer and set up a custom set of parameters based on your own preferences?

I have very similar setup on my 18 JL 2 door. I switched to antirock sway bar but felt like I gave up something in on road performance. Does this SDI Eclick bring back more stability on the hiway? Can you get it without full shock system?

Common sense says that auto disconnect sway bar links will not stiffen your sway bar rate. But you could run a stiffer sway bar and using Fred’s setup you would get more disconnect at the right times.

As with anything electronic it works great till it don't. Lol , but that looks like a great setup though, and I'm sure they perform great , probably not in my non-existent budget . Lol great video Fred , 👍 I own a ream 3500 with a 5.9 Cummins that would be cool to use on it but I don't get the opportunity to wheel mine .

pretty simple little item, just a small hydraulic cylinder with a solenoid valve piggyback to turn on/off crossflow. They could put one on each side and cross plumb them, mount the valve in the center of the vehicle and then you'd have selectable sway bar or forced articulation
