The parents should be allowed to come to school with their babies to help with the transition and make them feel safe.

100% agree, there should be a name match up to the children’s file for extra security. Here in Virginia they are not allowing any parents to walk their children to their classrooms. So essentially for added security, no ‘unknown’ adults entering the school building.

I couldn’t do it. Not only could I not send my child to the school, I couldn’t live in the town county or state

My heart still breaks. I'm so sorry for your loss. Just know people all over this world are holding you all with love. I don't see how putting Leo's at the schools help. There were hundreds there on that day yet none had the courage to save these innocent people.
Can you blame anyone, child, or parent for NOT having an anxiety attack just thinking about going back? Well, the cops didn't do anything when they needed to, what makes anyone think their presence will make anyone feel better?
It’s so depressing to see these children’s memorial art on the wall. Especially the boy who’s name is written in the Pokémon font. It reminds me that these children enjoyed things I did in my childhood. Except they didn’t get to enjoy the rest of their childhood because one mentally destroyed person.
I love how she says 'sense of safety' because it's really not safe in the States with all those guns being in the hands of unstable and/or violent people
We have unstable and violent people the world over. Seems to me the best option would be to regulate guns, just the way we do with cars.
I'm sure those people are just as dangerous with knives or a crossbow.....hell some of them could probably get you with a slingshot. Gun control sucks but the people here do too

There's definitely something wrong within the culture that things like this become common. In my country, guns aren't as easily accessible as the States, but like any other country, I can get my hands on one if I know the right people. Still, no one thinks of shooting up schools. I agree that you have to look at the culture and figure out what's wrong

Those Murrrals are so, beautiful. Outstanding & what a Special way to Remember all those Precious Kids & the 2 beautiful Teachers who lost their lives. I am just curious was this one Artist who painted these Murrrals or was there more than one ,? My heart & prayers ,& thoughts will always be for Uvalde , Texas & RobbElwmentary to those kids who lost their lives & the Teachers & to the Survivors & Parents, etcetera.

The fact that it felt my emotional of pain and hurt to see so many the angels and teachers were taken by the devil of inhuman suspect will do a vicious cold and solid vein will commit to do such things to harmful and crucial acted and but it heartbroken that the angels didn't even not deserve this and im sad that they even get the chances to live millions more for their dream of future they wanna be their live from the supporting their parents but it so truly devastating of what there parents going through that this I saw this news around many months ago passed and i was in my junior year in high school in miami fl in Miami Jackson Senior High, my teachers and other students include my friend are there with me, we watch the morning news we were loss for words and speechless and sad of this, but it so deepest to see of our reacted but it hurts to see those beautiful and innocent angels and babies don't even know that this could happen to them outta nowhere and it truly hurts in me to see their life taken and don't deserve it for nothing but god has them to take care of them and will make sure their spiritual of the peace and love with him and also he thanks for the teachers to make sure those children to stay calm and with no emotions that god is still around them and he will never leave you and but um it's unfortunately for me to know this is so complete difficult but further my condolences to their family and keep your strength effort that they can cause god will take care those angels and the parents will beileve that god has your children and their spirit with their asides no matter what, longlive the beautiful angels and the teachers don't deserve this 😞🕊️👶👼🌏🙏🏽

Schools are never going to be safe. I get anxious about sending my kids to any school. This triggers a lot of emotions I'm not sure if this is going to be healthy.
I work at an after school program with a group of 20 kids and the other day a firework nearby went off and my heart felt like it stopped for a second bc it reminded me of a gunshot and I started crying bc I couldn’t imagine never seeing my kids again or getting killed that way

It's sad that students are literally afraid to go to school at this point. No kid should be afraid to go to school. Our gun problem is out of control right now, but unfortunately, no one has a solution to it right now.

The schools decide to install 8 ft fences around the whole building when that should have been done to begin with before this incident even happened doesn't make any sense wait till after it happens and then put the security fence up really!

you can't stop guns being in the hands of the wrong people the same as you can't stop illegal drug distribution. Best thing you can do is get armed and trained. Your protection is your responsibility.
