I agree with Doctor Choi waking the girl is what we need to get the right information about what really happened to the boy and how to treat his injuries
@@soph301 HIS injuries??? In terms of injuries he's just fine and ready to be released home. But they care about his mental issues more than they care about the health (and possibly life) of a person that boy hurt much more than he hurt himself. And this is sick, really. She's already gravely injured, and it's totally his fault - but that's not enough, let's now risk her life in order to help that guy.
As someone who lives with depression, I understand being suicidal, but the complete disregard for another's life is unforgivable. I feel for the boy, but endangering another person's life through a suicide attempt is just awful and I just can't see there being a good enough excuse for that. Being suicidal does not let you off nearly killing someone. I hope he gets the help he needs, but I also hope he faces repercussions for his actions. Also, Dr. Choi was out of line this episode, if anyone is to blame it would be the boy's father. Waking up a patient who has just come out of a life-saving surgery in order to help another patient is wrong.
The boy wasnt disregarding human life though, i highly doubt he intented to injure the woman in the process. Was just a case of wrong place, wrong time. Accidents happen.
I feel like most people don't realise what the consequences can be. I think most would think that since others are in a car then they'd be fine, but that's not always the case. But people who consciously take other people with them are a different story.
You really don’t understand suicide from depression at all - based on what you just said! It doesn’t have anything to do with trying to hurt other people due to being selfish - the ONLY focus is taking yourself out of the equation so you’re not in pain or a burden to people any more.

@@KalraSura When you jump from an overpass, you know there are cars driving below and likely thought that if he didn't die on impact to the road, someone would likely accidentally run him over. I’ve come to understand why people get so defensive when a psychiatrist or mental health comes up because they assume the worst or that their relative or friend is crazy. That’s not always the case, they are there to asses the mental status of the patient and to see if they are in fact a danger to themselves and others. Sometimes seeing a psychiatrist even if you don’t have mental problems actually helps and it sometimes also improves your physical health as well.
