- 26,000lb Forklift Stuck in Field - Heavy Duty Winch out. Alex is the star yet again on this bright and sunny day where he rescues a heavy duty forklift. The unit lost all power for whatever reason, I believe it may have leaked out all the fluid. Not 100% too sure on the details, but a rotator was requested to winch the unit 300' back towards the pavement so it can be lifted and set onto a company trailer for transport.
Alex made great work in our 75ton rotator, Big Flipper, despite the heat and tons of labor involved in pulling the lines. With snatchblocks attached to his deck winches, he had plenty of power to pull the forklift back to safety. Unfortunately he stopped the video during the first pull, but the second pull was identical. And the sweet forklift "lift" and swing was also cut, but hope you guys still enjoy!

Alex is doing a good job as a RUclipsr! He talks a lot about the equipment he's using and why. pretty soon he's going o be as famous as Josh !! 😎
A lot of improvement from his first videos right? More calm narrating with explanations. It helps he can handle even difficult jobs solo!
I personally feel Alex is a good as Josh, open another branch and have Alex run that show with Josh in the background. watching from Calgary, Canada
Shes moving good style Alex....Another great job ....Stay safe
What so many people fail to understand is that a forklift was NEVER designed to work off a flay hard surface. Owing to the lack of suspension and weight, it cannot be used off a concrete surface, or similar. if you need to use a forked vehicle, you have to use one designed for off road. ! Well done with the recovery, its a drag !
Methinks someone was joyriding. Alcohol was probably involved.
People try to use whatever they can finds for free--not what is designed for the job. Now that original job cost a lot more.
Another great job by Alex!
What fantastic sunset.
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
Shut up
Wonderful job Alex you did great
Good job getting it out Alex.
you are so experienced at this that is so much fun to watch you, you had to learn from your dad and when you both work together its even better seeing you & dad work together God Bless my friend and keep doing what you are doing
Hallelujah to Alex!!!
Was he trying to cut through to another property? Not sure what they were thinking going out there
Some people think these can't get stuck because of the tires lol
this forklifts are meant to never leave the concrete. I was working a chemical plant shutdown and got one of these stuck in a gravel parking lot 10ft after I left the concrete slab to unload some beams off a truck. ended up having the truck driver pull his trailer onto the concrete, drop his trailer and give the forklift a yank back with his truck. luckily it came right back but its crazy how easy these get stuck
By the way Alex your doing a great job
Awesome! Again, it's brain power over muscle power! Rig things the right way, easy-peasy!! And it's the variety of jobs that make the recovery business so appealing! 👍🤩
Great job alex
Doing great Alex. Don't stop exercising, you'll last longer in life and in the business. When I got out in 96, I did 200 pushups, 200 pull-ups and 200 dips in sets of 10 or 20 while walking. The next day I ran 5 miles and walked a couple of miles to cool down. The third day I only walked at a quick pace, then started it all over again the next day. At 70 I'm working 6 or 7 days per week, riding 4 wheelers every day and hop in my canoe whenever I get a chance. If you get into a good routine with your diet now, your new normal will benefit you greatly as time goes on. Best of luck to you and good health.
Awesome video Alex
It's gonna be awesome video.
It's not a big rollover or anything crazy but it does show the different types of jobs we do every day. I'm starting to post more than just winch outs so hope you guys enjoy
Nice.
Great job Alex 😊 vertically challenged has its advantages you don't hit your head all the time, closer to the ground and you don't walk through as many spider webbs
Alex did an amazing job! I saw in RUclips him doing some hard jobs like that ashpalt paver when UNIT 24T & UNIT 44 / HULK came in called by the company that owned it.
I'm surprised to hear that Alex runs 2 miles in the morning. I would think that all the work with chains, snatch blocks, wire rope, etc. that he would get enough exercise at work. He did mention in the last video that he's a (former?) water polo competitor so I suppose the athlete in him wants to continue with a variety of training techniques whether at work or "play." Alex must also be a student of physics to make reference to "conservation of momentum."
😎👍
👍
a short one brother but still owned :)
Stand directly in line with 2 cables under tension? Not a big pull but…
Was a few to many !! 🍺🍺🍺🍺😃
Say Alex, What were they doing with the forklift in a field? Nice, smooth job. Stay safe out there.
Oh man you would be shocked at how often we get equipment like this in the most obscure places lol. Sometimes they're stolen, other times the drivers just go joy riding lol
You need a step stool lol.
Who drives a forklift out into a field… 😅
This guy does 😂
Why through the pasture land???
Who knows lol
Where the heck were they going?! Was it stolen?!?!?!
pepe amigo, necesitas un ayudante, caminas mucho, uno más te ayudaría mucho en el trabajo. cuidate.😎👍🏽🇺🇸🇧🇷🇯🇵
Why isn't Josh doing the videos anymore is he ok ------ by the way young man you do a great job and say hello to papi chulo JOE fore ❤
Was it an automatic transmission or manual?
Be careful your exaust doesn't touch the dry grass
Good job Alex... Cool Tat on the right inner arm... Jade...!
That is the exact reason why I never leave the shop without MY ring of many keys so I don't have to dead pull anything, unless it's completely InOp...
Stolen joyride?
A joyride, yes. Not stolen though believe it or not
Did a thief mistake this for a Toyota Tundra? It's difficult to harvest the crop with a forklift as opposed to a thresher. If it's got wheels Pepe's can pull it
LOL I think he underestimated the soft ground and thick brush
0:05 Forlift in yellow?
How much can they pull each line in tons ?
35 tons each, single line, 70 tons each, when parted as shown.
All equipment has it’s limitations, including 4x4 trucks.
Nice job Alex but what doodoo head drives a towmotor out in the middle of the😮
As someone who doesn't know much, why did you use the snatch blocks? Seems like a single winch could have lifted the fork lift let alone pulled it, and it would have been 2x faster on the pulls. Using them is making it easier for the winches, but seems like there was already lots of margin even without them.
It might come down to preference or what you are used to, but I'm just curious.
Probably to keep lines low so your not pulling straps up into anything but there every chance am wrong
See what happens when you try to take a short thro a soft grassy field with a very heavy fork lift that has no busines being there in the first place.! Give the toe bill to the forklift driver he will learn.!!
If can pull drags i
Winch in tons im uk so we go by tons
No need to run more than two miles, you have a physically demanding job.
There is some dumb people operating equipment. Forklifts get stuck very easily, especially in the dirt. Unless it’s a rough terrain forklift. SMH.
n o offence to alex. but people like ur videos cause your doing the work and we dont see u anymore operating the hulk . think about it.
You seem to have what's called "Main Character Syndrome". Where you think only what you believe is true. Just 4 days ago I posted Alex's solo lift job and it's at over 150,000 views. It's RARE for my videos to climb that fast in such short time. And I was nowhere in it and neither was Hulk. So reading your comment right now really kind of makes you look ignorant. It's fine to prefer a driver or truck, but your comment does not match Alex's views and hundreds of other comments.
im not ignorant , i m a viewer, because i saw u in ur videos, now ur hardly in them. mark my word you will lose subscribers if the original is not in them. if u cant take critisim then turn off your comments
The same goes to you, if you can’t take a response then don’t comment. Your position is I’ll loose subscribers. I responded with facts that Alex’s videos have been getting INSANE views with almost all comments praising him. You’re in the extreme minority here. Just look at the federal reserve job I posted on Wednesday that he did, look at the views and comments, then come back here and apologize. I have a business to run and doing RUclips full time is HARD. If you’re a true fan you should be happy I have more content and more rotator operators. If not then kick rocks, just don’t let the door hit you on the way back in
