Good video. You showed how to use the inching pedal and gas to lift the load. This is what I'm trying to get through to my guys, especially when lifting a heavy load. They slide the forks in and lift a heavy load at idle speed, which stresses the motor. Thanks for sharing.
That pedal is known as an inching brake, it acts as a brake initially and once fully depressed will disengage the transmission. This is useful when you want to apply throttle to lift your forks faster without having to actually shift into neutral.
@@killswitchscar1060 yeah I've just learned fhe forklift this week thanks I figured it out. I'm a beast already. I thought it'd be alot harder then it was
@@jsixers2154 yeah, shits pretty simple but it all depends on where you work. Working in production vs a warehouse etc. Having to load a melter with scrap aluminum is a lot harder than moving some pallets around for example
@@killswitchscar1060 I just move pallets and plastic containers and I empty cardboard bails and plastic bails from machines and load everything unto the trucks. $20 an hour plus as much overtime as I want. Not to shabby
I call it the clutch. Some forklifts only have 2 pedals. At our warehouse we have a Toyota that only has 2 the break and clutch is one pedal. I don’t like it. I drive an older model Caterpillar and it has separate clutch and break.
I think it serves as break when you want to lift up something and you you don't want to put the gear in neutral, and you can match it when you want to change gear

thats how a good video is made, simple. best forklift video ever .........thanks
A very simple teaching, he almost explained the important things
Good, i have been trying to know the accelerate and break padels
What i learnt now is that it's better to put your gear in neutral when lifting up an object
So the gear is just forward, back and neutral? Very easy then
Please I want to learn how do I get your contact for the training
thank you! straight forward
Not wearing seat belt is a fail in a FLT test...
No really
Amazing explanation😎.... Splendid
What does kill transmission mean and when do u use that ?

I love this video 🙏🙏🙏👌💯
I love this job
May l ask what's the function of the transmission peddle?

@@obiombabwhite3914Thank you. 👍
Why are the forks on the left?
When a prison mechanic gets out. God speed
What does the fourth (far right) lever do??
Auxiliary lever sometimes not active but most commonly to spread and collapse the forks further and closer together
How about wearing the seatbelt mate 🤔
Nice explanation
Good moves thanks for uploading
Besoin de vos conseils s'il vous plaît
