You dont understand how much this has helped my fiance. He wants to say thank you these videos made his first day soooo much easier on his anxiety. Thank you so much Joe
Hi Joe! I just passed my forklift certification 2 days ago. Your videos helped me a lot. Now its time to look for a job around. Greetings from the Philippines🇵🇭
Same I just passed my forklift certification too! Now hopefully I can get hired more easily and faster I rly wanna get back on my feet again too also congrats!
I disliked because you should have kept the camera on the entire forklift especially blades from the beginning to end. The young lady did well as far as I can see. Good tutoring 👍🏾
Joe, thank you for putting out the videos and content I just started at a company that sells forklifts pallet jacks all sorts of material handling equipment and batteries and I have learned more watching your videos over the past two days then I ever could have imagined.
What’s up Joe? Mane I got asked to drive the forklift the other day at my job and I came across your vids and you have taught me a lot already! Preciate cha bro keep up the good content my guy💯💪🏾 I’m not nervous anymore lol
I like how you are very patient. The two forklift operators where I work went top speed with heavy foot traffic. Sometimes without a seat belt. I ran a electric pallet jack mover, there and was thankful I didn't get to run their forklifts. They were racing them around like it was NASCAR.
Great job, I have the basic knowledge about forklift operatoration, but I couldn't finish the training, I wish to complete the training in future when I have funds to do that.
😂😂😂 To be honest I backed into a pole last week it scared the hell out of me. And I’m 12+ years the girl in this video was super nervous but now she’s off loading trucks.
I was a truck driver 33yrs I've retired from trucking now I load them using double forks lift got my certification card yesterday. I picked it up quick. I use to load flatbeds with water pipe dangerous you have to be on your toes with the fork tilt.
it is doing quite well, on the other hand, after having unloaded, you will have to think about raising the forks a little more unless the rules are different in your country compared to those in France. The forks should be between 15 and 20 cm above the ground.
I would probably leave 6 inches of space between my mast and my pallet, if I was picking something that close to a wall or a fence. Specially because those forks may stick out longer than a regular ECL pallet. But she gets credit because the electric forklift handles a little different than the propane or diesel. Lol
For her first time operating a forklift and Joe is a great teacher......just got to be careful to be too over confident and ALWAYS be safe to you and around others. I noticed she got better as she practiced more...but please always look behind you when you back up....especially towards the end of the video...and god bless.
@@zakouragus My credentials- retired after over 40 years in the freight moving industry. Drove everything from 2 wheel warehouse cart to 5 axle semi with 53 foot trailer. I might get really flamed for saying this, but whether or not to change the tilt depends on several conditions. On level floors with good pallets as shown in the video there is NO NEED to change the tilt. Under these conditions merely drop forks to the floor, pull tilt back so tips of fork enter center of pallet , leave tilt at that setting until parking at end of the day. At this setting when lifting, the tips will lift first, lifting about 2 inches before the heel of the forks start to lift. That is enough tilt for normal material moving. Of course you have to keep an eye on things & make adjustments if conditions change.
You sure this was her first time? Sheesh, to master reversing on first go is crazy. 3 wheeled forklifts are usually confusing af to begin with, getting used to the front being the pivot point and the rear being the wheel to actually do the maneuvering.
Salut monsieur comment ça va,je voulais faire cet métier, mais malgré je n'ai pas de moyens pour payer ma formation est ce que vous pouvez m'aider je suis en Espagne
you did a great job early in the video talking to the looking backwards but then you let her back up without looking several times. If you watch again she gets worse and worse about looking when backing as the video goes on. That is an indicator that she might not no the importance of that point. correct that early. She is extremely good with the controls for a first timer!!! But knowing what the controls do is the easiest part. Knowing what you are doing and why is much harder.
joe you clearly aint a good intructor there is no all round observations when moving off an she does not hold steering wheel assistor at all and her direction of travel is sub standerd im an ittsar flt instructor in the uk id would fail her with in first 3 stages of her test.

great video, question so when you pick up your pallet do ever want to tilt it back or just leave it straight she is doing amazing by the way?
You tilt the pallet to the direction of the machine, to secure the cargo
