    I have followed and watched your content for years! However, that was on another account that I got locked out of and haven’t had any luck getting back in it, anyways, you asked what was our Favorite car of yours over the years? Well…I’m going to go with this one, which is extremely strange for me to say considering I’m a mustang guy! But with this…it’s the nostalgia about it for me, I see this and I think back to 2001/02 where it all started for me, fast and furious had just came out, the local cruising scene had went crazy, Hondas was everywhere!! Man what I’d give to go back and live those Friday and Saturday nights again!! Thank you for building this car and bringing those memories back for me, even tho this video is 2+ years old at this time or more!

Now, 24 years later, there is still a feeling of exciting apprehension when I get into the seat. It is fully stock and has just clocked 320,000Kms. (200,000miles) Championship White. I rev it to 9,000 rpm often, and have never touched the motor. It's the greatest car of all.

    I always wanted an Integra but ended with an Acura RSX lol. Love the car it's fun to drive & I am very happy with the RSX the interior is just perfect the way it is from factory (cloth) currently has 262,xxx miles on its original trans & motor.

      @Nls Drf yeah I know that it's the replacement of the Integra it got its name RSX now there is a name Integra on the new model that they just came put with. I do agree with you tho but it's not really an Integra.

    The brakes were fading because of the pad compound not due to the rotors. The pads that come with the kit are just street pads and they’re not made to hold up to any aggressive driving. Wilwood makes more aggressive pads which is what you would need to not get any fade. I used to have that willwood kit as well

    All 4 wheel bearings that went out at relatively the same time sounds like that car was sitting for a loooooong time before you got it !

    • @CouchMan88
      @CouchMan88 3 года назад +2

      When I did my suspension I just replaced all 4 wheel bearings at the same time. They seemed fine but they were stock with probably over 200k miles on them. It was just a matter of time until one or more failed. Plus they are not that expensive. Worth it.

      @@CouchMan88 I guess I could see doing it that way but man that's a lot of labor if you press in the bearings yourself. In my experience, Civic / Integra wheel bearings are completely random for when they go bad. My current daily has 280,000 with service records dating back to when it was new. I had one wheel bearing go bad at 230,000 but the rest are still rolling just fine. My previous daily had 385,000 with somewhat complete records. None of which showed a wheel bearing replacement and I never had a wheel bearing go bad on that car for the 160,000 I owned it. All in all, I've owned eight different Civics and Integras and probably put well over 1.5 million miles combined on them. I only replace wheel bearings as they go bad and I've only had to do two bearings total for all eight cars I've owned.

      @@stevenhinkle6957 Personally I have never had a wheel bearing go out on any of my Honda’s but since I was already in the process of completely rebuilding the suspension I figured it was a good time to do it. Plus my stepdad had a press at his house so it was not to bad with that. Mine were not coming out without a press. I just wanted everything to be new on the suspension so at least I know I won’t have any problems with it. Just decided to do it all in one big project. Better to do it while I had it all apart then redo just a bearing later. I went with Koyo for the front since that is what Honda will give if you get them from the dealer.
