Apparently the troop compartment of the drill was so compact that they were pressed in like sardines. Their own bulky armour making it impossible to even sit down or raise an arm to shoot themselves. They’ve just been standing there for ten thousand years.

They are probably long dead, they are just underground and how powerful the astartes may be they are not immortal. Look at dante, the traitors there would be like 6.5 times older. They could have also killed each other right, or was there like no space to move
It's unclear as to exactly how long an Astartes can live for really. It's said many times in the books that they are functionally immortal as they can only die from physical wounds, they supposedly can't die from old age. Dante's aged and weary appearance is largely down to over a 1000 years of constant war and injuries. I imagine if an Astartes maybe took up gardening and doing crossword puzzles he might be able to tick along indefinitely.
The Salamanders once found a survivor of the Drop Site Massacre in late M40. He was alive, but paralyzed and in constant agony due to age. So, while yes, it is possible that they could still be alive, they would likely be combat ineffective.
That the Space Marines are functionally immortal (from aging) seems to have been retconned in later lore. That said, how quickly they age seems to depend on how exactly the gene seed effects their body, its not consistent, they seem to age at different rates. So it's probably not impossible that a space marine could survive and still be fit for combat after 10,000 years (assuming they had food and stuff they need, space marine armor can recycle a lot, but it has limits), but the vast majority would likely not survive such a timespan. That is without involving the warp.

During the Crusade, he fought with the Hurds who can manipulate the entropy of time itself, fortifications and fortresses that could have stood for millennia collapsed in a matter of days, and during the battles in the tunnels, Dantioch barely survived such an attack, being a fairly young space marine.
