Go Row Indoor workout #2 - The low impact workout

  • Join Clare, Ashley and Emily for a 20 minute workout that really packs a punch.
    If you don't have dumbbells you could use a water bottle or something similar instead.
    Warm up, start rowing and get fit by rowing along with Go Row Indoor Instructor Clare.
    Indoor rowing is the perfect workout, helping you to get fit and tone-up, fast. It's easy to get started and you'll see the benefits of indoor rowing in no time.
    Here are some exercise adaptions for the circuit exercises you can use if you have an impairment.
    If you can't do a shoulder press with both arms, do it with just one arm, or do a resisted crunch holding dumbbells.
    If you can't do a seated twist leaning back, do an upright twist with your shoulders and arms only.
    If you can't do a squat, you can do a resisted crunch using dumbbells or a resistance band attached to the front of the machine.
    If you can't do lateral raises with both arms, do it with just one arm, or do a side bend.
    If you can't do a plank, you could do a side bend or shoulder circles.
    If you can't do a tricep extension with both arms, do it with just one arm, or do a bicep curl with a resistance band attached to the front of the machine.

    Hi Clare and team, thanks for the set of 7 GO Row workouts, 1 for each day of my week. I had a cancer op last November followed by Lymph node removals and your daily workouts in my spare bedroom have made such a difference to my recovery. I'm 71 and now feel as fit as when I was in my 40s. Thank you so much!!

    This is my favorite rowing workout! The cue-ing us perfect and the pace is great. When I want to extend the workout I simply go through twice and I am D.O.N.E. Thanks!

    Thanks for another fantastic video. Please keep em coming. Can I suggest a sprint and an endurance track? These vids have me at just around 3k. Would love to have the ability to choose endurance or sprint training. Thanks!

      I was about to post the same request! I've been inspired to buy a Concept 2 D rower this week to replace my old magnetic one so I can do more interesting workouts, but I really like having someone to follow, and I hate the gym!! More variation would be very helpful.

    Love the interactive video. Clare says "squeeze" when power to the legs. Can someone tell what does she mean with this?

      Hello, glad you're enjoying the videos. When Clare says squeeze the legs she means this as a form of encouragement to squeeze out a bit more power from your legs in the drive, enabling you to push a little harder. British Rowing.

      I totally agree. Their placement is incredibly abrupt and they keep coming. Encountering four commercial breaks in a 23 -minute video is ridiculous.
