    Nice, doing the same swap on my 96
    And you made a good point about the battery cables and staying in the stock location. Sounds alot easier. I was going to move it to the driver's side

    do you think a 4l80e swap would work of done at the same time cause I just got a 99 2 door tahoe with a blown 4l60 and for the longest time ive had a 6.5 with a 4l80 and for the 307,000 miles it hasn't given me any trouble

    Nice vid. Here just getting some ideas, someone in my area is selling a 99 Tahoe in great condition paint is good not crashed just small dent near rear bumper. Interior is also great condition leather is good just some wear on driver seat. Guy said has no motor and trans but 5.3 engines are easy to get and they are cheap. He only wants $400 and everything else is there. He has clean title

    Is it possible to have the dash work rpm, speedometer, coolant temp, oil pressure, fuel gauge if I am using the terminator x. I figured I can split the signal for the oil and coolant so the Holley gets the signal and the stock dash also

    Did you ever figure out the right sensors to use for the coolant temp and oil pressure? I know in your green truck you said the coolant temp was off and the oil pressure was high. I would like to keep the factory gauges on my Tahoe.

    • @EndlessWishlist
      @EndlessWishlist  5 лет назад +2

      Idk why the oil pressure reads high. It is the factory 350 sensors with an adapter to the ls block. And you can run 2 coolant sensors. On for the ls computer and then put the obs coolant sensor on the other side. That’s what I’m going to do in the Yukon.

      Endless Wishlist thanks. That’s what I’ll do. I also found all your videos. I just had to click on your Uploads. Then it showed all your videos.

    How did you go about the ac like the second connector that goes to the harness by the ac filler line ? The ls has I believe 4 cables and the obs only has 2

  • @streetshots1274
    @streetshots1274 4 года назад +3

    As much as I love the LS. Yes it does have better power and better fuel economy but a properly maintained 350 will literally run until the end of time

    Hey endlist Wishlist, question as far of mating engine with transmission, do you need to change the stock 5.3 flexplate or just use the torque converter spacer adapter?

    • @EndlessWishlist
      @EndlessWishlist  5 лет назад +1

      Just use the 5.3 flexplate and the spacer. You will have to oblong the holes where you bolt it to the torque converter

    I have a 94 full size blazer with a 350 and 4x4 and want to swap a 5.3 or 6.0. If I also put in the 4l80e what can I do to keep my 4x4 or should I just delete it?

    • @EndlessWishlist
      @EndlessWishlist  4 года назад

      You can keep the 4wd. You will just need to change the output shaft on the trans or the input shaft on the tcase

    • @gabrieljaimes321
      @gabrieljaimes321 3 года назад

      @@EndlessWishlist hey I’m almost done with my swap! I’m on the trans part now and do you know what input shaft is needed to make a 4l60e work with my stock transfer case

    On your obs ls swaps, what did you do on the EVO power steering setup? Judt delete that circuit on the obs??

    • @EndlessWishlist
      @EndlessWishlist  3 года назад +1

      Got rid of it. Used the 5.3 power steering pump. It hooks right up to the obs steering box.

    Where are you locating your grounds on your swap? I've heard you only need 3 grounds, but then some people say there are a few more.

    There really ant nothing wrong with a 350 if it runs good and you just need a good running car or pickup.
