Yes they have! AND they are a pro trans company! I love JD and am so glad they can be a part of the LGBTQAI+ community, thank you for your participation and support! 🌈
Brother Dan approves! A buddy picked up a bottle of JD 12 for $199. I’d do it again! It goes to my top shelf for sure. Thanks Sean and Dan for a great review!
I have tried 10 and 12 in the bar also and both were $10-$12 for a double pour. I got multiple glasses and it was so good. I wish I could find bottles on the shelves.
This is yet another product that will only be seen in museums with the price jacked way up. If I get lucky and stumble upon it for a good price, I won't argue with good fortune, but I won't expend a lot of effort or excessive amounts of money for anything. Hopefully stocks of the older expressions of Jack Daniel's will increase with each annual release and they will be easier to get in the future. Until then, I'll find other things to drink.
Off topic, but PLEASEEEEE taste some Strahahans!!! Preferably diamond peak, but they all work. The flavor is always there and would love to see your reaction! It’s a hidden gem.
Got one for 85 bucks at an ABC drop! I missed a Stag and was pissed, until I tried it. Insane release. My freind got the 10, and it's good but not even close to the 12 level.
One or more of the Tennessee Taster's series (like the High Angel's Share) were 107 but I think they were only released in TN. I got really lucky and was able to get a bottle of the 10yr this year but not the 12yr sadly.
I got SBBP and realized I'm just not a jack profile guy. The banana is cool but it just had an artificial plasticky mid palate that I can't get into. Cool bottles though
Only time I've seen this they were charging $300. And I live in TN. You'd think if I lived in this damn state I could at least find Jack more often and at a decent price.
I have friends that live in or near Lynchburg .. We are all Tennessee Squires !! They sent me a video last week end and 12 year old was being bottled again !!! Second bottling on the way soon !!! 12. 2 .2023 bottling date !!!
Yes it’s undoubtedly the best I’ve had. I consider myself a novice bourbon drinker but damn, the search is over. Absolutely what I imagine a fine bourbon should taste like.
Pissed I can't get this in Ohio yet. How do you guys decide who gets to keep the bottle when you only get one? Do you have a rule that you can only drink it together?
Local So Cal is 3 bills for the 12 year and the only place I've ever seen Coyhill wants a grand! FOR A BOTTLE OF JD!!!! I need to get my arse outta Cali cuz even with this crummy economy, the whisky hunt is straight up ridiculously expensive. I gotta stop watching these reviews cuz there is no way I'm ever gonna be able to get a bottle and you guys make me want to get my hands on even a sample of it.
Speaking of 12 year age statements, what are your thoughts on Heaven Hill going to various age statements on future ECBP releases instead of the 12 year? Would love to see an entire episode on the topic.
The needle moves in certain circles. About a county radius in Michigan. The entire community of vampires-at night only. Guys with zero hands-the guys never picked for the “hands team” in football. So let’s be more clear. 😊
I got this on Saturday on a drop in VA. Everyone was scooping up Blanton's ahead of me. I was locked into this JD12 and of course got it as MSRP here in VA. First try seemed a bit heavy on rubber cement for me. Definitely going back after I let it breathe a tad.
Agreed. In my neck of the woods this isn’t getting super reviews. Better than good reviews? Yes. But I know of a dozen of us that just feel it’s good but not worth hunting down. Coy Hill on the other hand is a god to me
I was lucky enough to get a Blatons. But had to travel outside of my range to get a bottle from a drop that happened on Sunday. I did see the Jack Daniels....A month ago, I was searching hard for the 10 year or 12 year...now, since JD has decided to join that LGBTQ train..I can't go there now..hope you do enjoy yours. Sad that I may never taste it.
@@LeatherDaddy97 guess we don’t have the same pallets. 😂 I really enjoy the full flavors of the CY. Mines 139.5 proof and just some of the most flavor I’ve ever had in a bourbon Cheers 🥃
I got one of these from my local hookup and teared up a little when I tasted it. It’s just amazing. Some real Sus Shops around me trying to sell this for 4 Hundo. Not going that high but you NEED this…
Glad you fellas snagged a bottle finally. I help out at a local liquor store on the side, and they were willing to sell me the 12yr for MSRP. I love this juice, and I’ve BEEN CONVINCED there was subtle mesquite note on the palate; but no other review online mentioned it. Thank you, Sean. Cheers I’m glad y’all enjoyed it!
I appreciate you not doing a review of this based on media samples. Every review I've seen up to this one was just media samples. Starts to feel like a JD marketing campaign instead of a review of a whiskey that might actually be available on the shelf somewhere. Also, I have yet to see this on a shelf anywhere lol.
This is such a great release. I get a bit of that King of Kentucky burnt molasses/ tar in the back of the nose as well as banana and cherry. The 107 proof maintains the mouthfeel and intensity of flavor without overwhelming. If you put this in a OFBB bottle, people would be tripping over each other trying to get a bottle and would be paying $900.
I do love the SBBP but this honestly is about perfect for us. 107 proof has all the complexity without all the bite that some of the barrel proofs get to
Nothing against JD but I personally think there are so many better and more interesting Whisk(e)ys out there, its good with coke but is way too sweet for me

Got this one about two weeks ago, cracked it that night and I think everyone I know will tell you that I haven't shut up about it since. It's so good.
I have a bottle of JD 12 I have been sitting on for a few weeks now that I have been waiting for the right time to open. I love seeing you talk it up.

You guys need to try the Old Elk Cigar Cut; stuff is ridiculously good.
What do you think of the Old Elk Four Grain
Had some tonight at a bar and definitely will buy some once i find it in the store!

Wonder if the wild temperature fluctuation has anything to do the huge oak presence? Temps down here are crazy 1 day it's 80 the next 30 and snowing.
Good to see you enjoy it!

I’ve heard it described as “Whiskey Extract” it’s so pure
Picked one up for 60, looking forward to trying it at some point.

Just got my hands on a bottle of this at MSRP, no tax! Phenomenal pour!
I did too a while back. Been babying it. Just under half left. Wish I had a backup
I got a bottle of this as soon as it came out and was not disappointed with it. I wish it costed about $70 instead
Hoping to score this. Feeling like this is the year of JD.

Your review was great, hopefully I can get a bottle! 😋👍
I’ll never open my 10 12 or coy I just can’t bring myself to do it
$500 secondary 😖. It’s too bad most of us will never get to try this.
I see that Virtue Spirits bottle in the background!
I'd try it if/when it comes to Oregon. Really want a bottle of the double barrel.
My JD12 appears to need some time to open up.
How to make a bottle even more scarce in one step:
1. Have an insanely good review on the Bourbon Junkies channel
I don't think JD would even feel it's move the needle for any of their products
The needle moves in certain circles. About a county radius in Michigan. The entire community of vampires-at night only. Guys with zero hands-the guys never picked for the “hands team” in football. So let’s be more clear. 😊
The whiskey tubers are the ONLY people getting this stuff for MSRP
Our local store in NJ has it for $349. Criminal. The 10 year is 199.
Gross
$529 for the 12 yr. here in Illinois!!!!! The 10 is $259 and heard from other channels that it isn't anything to run home about.
Stop shopping there
There’s a place in central Jersey that has the 10 year for 150 and the 12 for 250
I just dropped 299 plus tax on a bottle in a shop in Los Angeles. Everything online is 350 and up. I hope it’s as good as the hype says it is.
I'm here for the baseball references! Love it haha

Well I actually did find one… the neck pour was super oaky for me and my buddies, which I didn’t expect. Oakier than most 12 year bourbons I’ve had.
Sadly this is selling for &350 locally so I won’t get to try it,
I was at a liquor store in SW Florida the other day and the guy had a Jack Daniels 10 year old for a cool $500. I was like WTF?!
$399 for the 10 year and $499 for the 12 year near me in Orlando.
If I could find this within a reasonable msrp, I would get it. But not going to pay $450- $500 for it.
If only I could find the 12 year. Crossing fingers Michigan gets better with distribution.
Not a chance. Man, been rough here in the Mitten lately!
Mennick has this right there with WLWeller
Do I have to be a patron to purchase those shirts and hoodies merch?
