Kiwi is actually, low key, one of the most underrated fruits. You have to get a sweet one. Don't judge them by the typical underripe sour options at your grocery store. They are great straight up, sliced, on a salad...they have a good amount of vitamin c and k. If you don't want to peel them, just slice it in half, and scoop the content with a spoon.

BTW, I recently toured the Bowman distillery and the guide said like 4 times "for those of you that have heard rumors, I can assure you that we do NOT get distillate from anyone else, everything we sell we make right here." Not a fan of their new GREEN stickers for single barrel bourbon (Whaaah?).

If you're looking at non-peated scotch under or around $60, there are so many other options besides the laddie. Here are a few that I would choose over the robbin's egg. Not necessarily in preference order: 1.Bunnahabhain 12 2. Deanston 12 3. Tobermory 12 4. Balblair 12 5. Arran 10. 6. compass box spice tree 7. Glen Garioch 12, 8. any Glenallachie that fits the price, If we can go peated, then 1. Port Charlotte 10 2. Ledaig 10 3. any version of a 10 year-ish independently bottled Caol Ila 4. compass box peat monster 5. Kilchoman Machir Bay...I'm sure I've missed some, but that's off the top of my head.
