    Thank you so much man I could not have done this job without your videos. I would have taken everything off that didn't need to come off. I might have gave up and sold the thing as old as it is. Thanks again man.

    Hi Matt :) To start I like to say that your videos are awesome and also to shake your hand but cuz of the Covid Crisis we can't LOL... I actually thought I left you a comment here and I notice it was on the 2nd part of this video. I have to thank you for that extra link you provided me, about Leaks on several places of the SRT in which I fund very interesting and informative. I love your videos and most all your ability and knowledge that encourage other to do things like you did with me and to do them the right way so at to make a job well done. Again, I didn't needed to change anything in the Blower Box but I did needed to remove the Dash Board to see where that leak was coming from and thanks to this video it was helpful to remove the Dash Board and with a little patience, commonsense and lots of Prayer I was able to find the leak. It wasn't in any of those place on that link video you send me. I think it was more like a Manufacture Defect, in where they didn't put any of that Welding Solution or Cold Welding if you know what I mean ( like JB Weld kind of ) to bond two metals together without Electric Welding. The defect was in the front bottom part of the windshield, where the Air Intake Compartment and the glass meet on the passenger side, is really hard to see the area of the leak but I took pictures and I could let you have them so you could add them in your RUclips if you like to maybe share and help others. Matt I been doing Residential, Commercial, Automobile, Boats and more Upholstery for over 40 years and Handy Man work for over 20 years and if you ever have any questions in any of this areas it would be my pleasure to help you out in what I can at any time. Check out my FaceBook Pages "Sam On Site Upholstery" and "The HandyManSam" that I recently created, and again just ask like Jesus Christ said and you will receive :) Thank you again and God bless you and your love one on this pandemic crisis..... †

    Thank you Matt! This video will help immensely! I have two yellow SRT4, one with a cracked and bypassed heater core when I bought it as a second car a year ago, and both with blower motors beginning to make noise.

      Check-in it out because I'm at the end stretch of my conversion. I saved the best for last.Have yet to fire it up..... But it's ready. Motor and tranny wise. Finishing off the under dash ( engine bay) into the car, wiring harness. Pulling the entire dash to make the last connections as painless as possable.

    God, please let flushing my system work.

    • @Mattsneedforspeed
      @Mattsneedforspeed  2 года назад +1

      its worth a try pull hoses and back flush the core with garden hose can try filling the core with clr and let it soak for an hr or so if you believe it to be clogged or flow issues, but if leaking will need replacement

    • @michaelleoanrd194

      @@Mattsneedforspeed thanks. It's definitely not leaking, all the spillage I see is coming from the overflow. I just think I'm hearing the telltale gurgling from the heater core.

    do you not need to mark the two parts of the steering column down there to make sure you put it back in the same alignment? or is it hard to mess it up? i havent looked at it yet

    • @Mattsneedforspeed

      I just center the wheel and turn it a little to the left to spin the nut and push the bolt out the way it’s shaped it will only go in one way it’s pretty easy compared to some other vehicles

    • @rickspearman344
      @rickspearman344 2 года назад +1

      I found if you lock the steering wheel, things went a lot easier, with less likely hood of damaging the clockspring

    So ive noticed on your videos (which are the only real srt4 dash videos) that your connector that connects the dash wiring to the harness just slides off when you move the dash forward. I tried to remove mine last night and broke the bracket that holds the large black and white harness connector. Ive been fighting with it for a day now trying to get it disconnected and am about ready to give up. Any help would be appreciated.

    • @Mattsneedforspeed
      @Mattsneedforspeed  3 года назад +1

      They usually just slide right apart I’ve pulled 60 dash never had one stay together, who knows maybe some one glued it?? but if it broke away as a whole assembly still plugged in you should be able to have room in between the dash and fire wall to get them separated on the driver side try a screw driver a small pick a little wd40 but look at the plug it possible that something got shorted out and melted in the at one time holding it together

    • @putrid2529
      @putrid2529 3 года назад +1

      @@Mattsneedforspeed finally got it. Connectors were just dirty and had probably never been removed before. It was a PITA though. Thanks for the help.

      @Mattsneedforspeed  Год назад

      for the most part yes there is some differences with the ac lines and coolant overflow under the hood but the rest of the processes is the same

      Winter in Canada is a fact of life. A good heater is a nessesity, not an option. Even with a heated garage, I'd rather do THIS job
      in the summer or fall. As usual,another great vid.
