Step by step instructions for dash removal, instrument panel removal and exactly which bulbs need to be replaced to change the illumination color of the dash board (instrument panel, instrument cluster).
Easy to follow do it yourself style of instructions. Here's a list of all the tools used for this as well as the bulbs needed for your own 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 or 2005 Dodge Neon. The process is the same. We tried the Red LED bulbs first but JP wasn't happy with the look. It simply wasn't bright enough. We tried the Blue LEDs and was blown away by how bright they are.

It completely changes the appearance of the inside of the vehicle, that's for sure! You won't regret it if you decide to do it.
How does one change to other lights that still show green?
Blue is much more easy on the eyes! Gonna have to do this to my neon.
Blue is actually the most stressful color on the eyes. Hence why a lot of modern devices let you reduce blue light to reduce eye strain.
How come the other 2 gauges ain’t lit up ?

They technically do dim. But not as drastically as you may like. Even on the dimmest setting they are still pretty bright.

I wish I could help. Try google searches, look for forums talking about your specific model. Ask you me question in the forum. It takes time to get answers, unfortunately. Sorry, wish I had more answers. 🤷🏼♂️
My neon is manual gage cluster is a little different but should be the same right?? And I watched your video on the 3.5inch speakers as well but the link wouldn’t load do you have to go with them speakers because of deapth?? Or could I go a little bigger want to put Rockford fosgate ones in if possible
There didn't appear to be depth enough for a larger speaker if I remember right.
I got these lights but they won’t work on my 05 neon. I tried flipping them and turning them, I just don’t know what to do
Make sure the metal tabs are contacting the metal contacts on the control board. If you had lights before these should also work. Also if you disconnected your battery did you remember to reconnect it for the test? Hopefully it’s something as simple as one of these two things. 🤨
Hi! What about the lights after the time? Problem with canbus (flicker)?
My buddy never complained or said anything after we swapped them. I think he would have said something if that happened so I’m guessing it never happened. 🤷🏼♂️

Red was darker than my buddy JP wanted. We tried that first. It just wasn’t bright enough. 🤨

@@troysgarage it's pretty easy I just did mine matte navy dark blue spray can, with graffiti montana 94 spray paint . If you'r clear coat is good then just paint the whole car with a new modern color like that sexy beige tan color or something new. My clear coat was all burnt out. The lower grill inside the bumper those lines I did Orange and the spoiler. It helps people see me coming and works. People don't pull out on front of me any more and they all ways want to race.. the road respect went through the roof
Cool! I’ll have to look up this paint for another project maybe. We actually sold the neon. It was my buddies and he needed a bigger car for the family.
