My first space horror movie when I was 17. I totally loved it but it prevented me from sleeping well for months... The great actors, the mind-blowing story, the set designs, the script, the Alien..., everything is perfect there.

10:33 I remember hearing of this scene. It is supposed to show how the eggs are not laid by a mother but are being created from humans or other beings. In this case, he is transforming into an egg slowly. I kind of hate that conception, but it gives a lot of new ways to make new stories.

That was actually fairly good considering the time limit. You captured the essentials. I don't agree entirely with which scenes or dialogues you've included, but it's still good, I like how you showed the slow moments of the movie before the crew wakes up, since it's essential in conveying the basic atmosphere.
Nonetheless, I gotta say that one should watch the movie in it's entirety.

My idea for a third alien covenant/prometheus movie is as follows:
The engineers are the main characters in the movie and comes to the planet that was in the Prometheus movie.
There they find Weyland inside the crashed spaceship. They have a blue elixir which they empty all over him and bring him to life.
But while doing this the Deacon from the Prometheus movie sneaks into their spaceship and hide it self in one of the ventilation chambers.
In the next part they arrive at the planet from alien covenant and find the other robot(Walter) who is david's twin. The engineers use the blue elixir and repairs him.
Once awaken the engineers and Weyland get to know all the horrible things that David has done, and weyland says "we have to stop David" .
They set course for origae. When they arrive, they scans all the planet, and finds the planet is full of hostile organisms except
on a high mountain where they discover that there are humans inside a cave.
Inside the cave they meet a herd of children, who tell that when they had lived on the planet for over ten years,
they began to be attacked by Xenomorphs and all the adults died or were turned into these creatures.
There were also great giants developed by someone the children calls David.
The engineers get ready to wipe out all the Xenomorphs that David has created, but the great giants manage to escape with one of the engineers' spaceships.
The engineers and Weyland hunts the spaceship and manage to force the spaceship down on the planet lv426.Where it start sending a distress signal.
The engineers return to Origae to find David, but discover that he has escaped.
In the last part we see David arriving and meeting an unknown alien species
    on a tropical like planet.
But when he and the unknown aliens have left the spaceship, the deacon slips out of the ship and is seen running toward the nearest settlement.
And that makes the cliffhanger that ends the third movie.

Yes, it is. But it really makes the movie work, so to speak. When we first encounter the adult monster, that scene was either going to be a smash-hit (and really make the movie, and make it captivating and engaging), or it was going to be terrible and quite possibly quite pathetic (and so thus quite possibly basically ruin the movie, as a whole); that scene is much like the crux of the movie, basically.

Brett should have ceased searching for the cat, especially when he noticed and picked-up the shed skin of the alien. What a terrible idea. Screw the cat. A great and memorable scene, nonetheless. One of the great death-scenes in all of cinema. And quite possibly the greatest movie-monster in all of cinema, as well, no doubt.

Wait, *what* ?!? I can't relate to the need for the _condensed soup_ version of something-- especially when that something is a supreme scifi horror flick.
People, do yourself a favor and watch the full movie "Alien" (at night, in total darkness) ... instead of a 13 minute synopsis. It's one of the greatest thrillers made, a slow burn monster story that deserves watching, in its glorious entirety, instead of this asinine abridged bullshit.

Action is injected generously, and the slow burn quality decreases (though not entirely, I'm happy to say). They're very different but they share many elements. I thought this was pretty well done, maybe a little short, but I’m more disappointed no other movies were summarized on your channel :/

"Alien" is a far superior film to "Aliens," which is over-rated. This first movie was a true horror film, a true classic, and a true masterpiece of film-making. The second devolved into an action-adventure mess. Scott is a much better director than Cameron and the original film's cast was comprised of more talented actors and actresses than the 1986 coat-tail ride.

I agree they are different genres, but I wouldn't say Aliens is a mess. It's a really good action movie that have stood the test of time. Granted you will be disappointed if you watch it expecting a horror film.

@@sasuke22dante Yea, I agree with your opinion and viewpoint. Aliens is really good, and plenty of people, I'm sure, tend to consider it as good as the first one of the series or better than the original of the series. My personal opinion, for one, is that the original of the series is probably the greater movie; but Aliens is really good, still and nonetheless; one of the great sequels in all of cinema.

Good on you to include partial deleted scenes. Overall though, and that's just my personal opinion, you didn't do this movie justice. For instance, why not include the moment when Ripley, carrying the cat, turns a corner, and then it's there...

What a useful channel, this is great for when you want to watch the more recent sequels of a franchise but don't have the patience to sit through the first/older movies

I realize that predicted the future must be unbelievably difficult but having said that I think this film gives us very little credit for potential future advancement in technology. I think we could actually make a Nostromo with the towed cargo right now. It's just a matter of us wanting to build super carriers and generation 5 Fighters. The depiction of computers in both the first and second film is especially lacking. It's as if the filmmakers believed we would do nothing more in the future but further refine and expand the capabilities of DOS as an operating system. And our current Wi-Fi technology if it were aboard the ship's depicted in both films would project sound and video so much better back to the command center.

Yes. Although, so did Ash. But he was an android, a malevolent and malevolently-programmed one. To Ash, there was not really something wrong already in the making.
