I've only been able to clear this dungeon once where I kill every enemy. Given only 1 health is hard. I don't know many others who can keep up at such a difficulty.
@@Awgez24 Sony has made sure to hard cap the frame rate. It plays the exact same way with shortened loading times and it doesn't drop any frames or screen tear when a lot starts going on. I can only assume Sony is planning on producing a definitive edition because the game hasn't gotten an upgrade at all. The only change I can notice is the graphical clarity of the contrasting colors, they seems to be sharper, otherwise it's the exactly the same with quicker load times.
In gascoignes boss area, if you stand on the very edge of the roof where the red jeweled brooch is, the game will load a really weird texture on that roof that to my knowledge you don't see with any other means. Would you look into it?

Since you are able to explore Bloodborne’s worlds now, do you think you could check out the man who asks for the password for the door leading to the forbidden woods? It would be interesting to see if he’s ever actually alive, or if he’s always the corpse.
If you do the gate skip (where the starting werewolf attacks and munches on you so you can get through the normally locked gate by Iosefka's Clinic) you can find him always dead by just going all the way around the Forbidden Woods. Edit: you can also see both the real and imposter Iosefka if you do the skip. The skybox will be nighttime even if you haven't beaten Amelia. The Snatcher that is normally by the hut with the Beast Roar in it is gone because it is not technically night time even though the sky box is night. No joke, I searched this very thing while using the chalice to overlevel for a future BL4 run, and I couldn't find a single video on it, even the one you've linked in the pinned comment, maybe due to them titling it as "Who is the ____k soul owner?" which is bad for SEO. So I ran down to the room asap and saw the weakened hunter just off the bridge and felt like it was him dying to blade traps but being too far away to react. It's extremely satisfying to know my hypothesis was good.
Zullie is to Soulsborne game mechanics what Vaati is to the games' lore, plumbing the depths of the physical world and mechanics and answering questions you never otherwise would know the answers to.

Love your work and everything you do. Please keep up the videos. I love learning about the tricks devs use to make games possible. And the fact that you use LoZ music is the fucking best.
Finally i can have a Bloodborne idle tycoon simulator.
The extra best thing about this dungeon is you can go to it IMMEDIATELY after beating The Blood Starved Beast
Well you need to kill the merciless watchers on layer 2 for the root chalice
@@mortenheidelbach
I’ve not had to do this on brand new playthroughs - I can immediately type in the chalice dungeon glyph after killing Blood Starved Beast
Coming back after years of not playing--beating BSB is the hard part. 😑😒
This chalice and the other work of the Tomb Prospectors have so invigorated they process of making new characters. It’s awesome to have a path to go straight to the dungeons and then enjoy the progress of the game with a fully built character later. You used to have to wait for NG+ and it just doesn’t feel the same.
Holy shit I probably wasn't the only one to ask this bit seeing my question answered just made my day
Zullie, I love your content. It's short, sweet, always interesting, and you always pick great music for each vid. Keep up the brilliant work.
I actually like to play the dungeon and see how far I can go without dying.
its a pretty boring dungeon, there are far more fun and interesting triple curse dungeons like 3fsh82up, gyketm6k , ej8y9qtg , hf37n3aa , rqa62ndk , 74ezm9bw and ppqzah27
@@stoneghost2936 I play on ps5 and the dungeon doesn't work for me at least 80% of the time. I can only assume the ps5 loads the model in a sequence too quick for it to kill the hunter in the axes, he lives and falls into the pit instead of dying.
I've only been able to clear this dungeon once where I kill every enemy. Given only 1 health is hard. I don't know many others who can keep up at such a difficulty.
@@gradualpull2171 How does the game feel on ps5? I havent tried it out yet, in some false hope that they will give it a proper upgrade patch...
@@gradualpull2171 nope, playin BB on the Ps5, the farm works fine for me. He dies every time
I was just wondering about this the other day! Couldn't find the info online, so thanks for answering my question.
In gascoignes boss area, if you stand on the very edge of the roof where the red jeweled brooch is, the game will load a really weird texture on that roof that to my knowledge you don't see with any other means. Would you look into it?
very interesting i gotta check this out lol
@@lunarluxe9832 i subbed
Fascinating, thank you for your sacrifice olek, I wouldn't have gotten to 544 without you
I remember being equally curious, and found it hilarious when I discovered what was dying.
I honestly feel like this chalice was a way for the devs to grind levels for testing purposes.
I've been wondering this FOREVER! WHAT A GOOD VIDEO!
Since you are able to explore Bloodborne’s worlds now, do you think you could check out the man who asks for the password for the door leading to the forbidden woods? It would be interesting to see if he’s ever actually alive, or if he’s always the corpse.
There's footage of that already
If you do the gate skip (where the starting werewolf attacks and munches on you so you can get through the normally locked gate by Iosefka's Clinic) you can find him always dead by just going all the way around the Forbidden Woods.
Edit: you can also see both the real and imposter Iosefka if you do the skip. The skybox will be nighttime even if you haven't beaten Amelia. The Snatcher that is normally by the hut with the Beast Roar in it is gone because it is not technically night time even though the sky box is night. There's a whole lot of interesting details that you can find about BB's loading if you do this crazy skip.
I think ymah got on the other side of the door without opening it in one of his videos, there was just a corpse
It's just an audio dialog, nothing more
@@Eric_The_Cleric The snatcher *actually* doesn't spawn simply because BSB is still alive.
Even the snatcher in the lower Cathedral Ward streets under the Healing Church Workshop doesn't spawn if BSB is alive, and you need to kill her to get down there!
Thank you so much. I've always wondered on this, and you answered it. Magnificent deep dive!
Exploring this chalice is wild man, the first layer has no enemies on the main path apart for a single watcher guarding the lever.
And all the loot that can actually be picked up has been replaced with ritual blood (5)
That's so cool to see!!! I'd gone traversing in there before and made it to that bridge and never saw anything, so this makes total sense!!
Any explanation as for why the swinging axe will sometimes hit olek for double damage? Sometimes he would take 1400 instead of 700, is that just lod shenanigans?
Probably the "if hit while dodging, you'll take twice the damage" thing
@@tylervanpeursem7627 Open Foes damage bonus is around 20%, so that wouldn’t make it make sense. It has to be something else.
@@vgman94 ah, I thought it did twice the damage lol, guess it just feels like it does
Why are you worrying about that? Free blood echoes!
I love you for doing this vid. Been waiting for a long time
True reason of Zullie digging into Bloodborne:
⚪️getting close up looks of far away and inaccessible models
⚪️digging into the hidden workings of the game
⚪️finding out Dura’s gattling gun is an NPC
🟢Finding out what dies in the cummmfpk dungeon!
Thank you for this awesome bit of Insight.
The cummmm chalice
Ymfah: shhh you’ll give away the magic I present
I’m here cause of the tweet
This question was answered years ago lol. Thanks for the video with goofy music tho.
Yeah, I mostly only decided to do the video because the "why" part was interesting and I don't know that anyone else had shown that.
Sometimes I regret asking Trin to make this dungeon. But only sometimes.
It's funny to actually see him get hit by the blade. I'd thought it would be impossible, since BB's debug tools were gutted, but leave it to Zullie to pull through.
trin made this dungeon? what?
I’ve never heard of this farming method until a few months ago. The thousands of viscerally attacked pig asses that would have been saved had I known sooner 😓
Alternate answer: Yharnam is an eldritch place where reality itself falters.
>with the worst name
I think it perfectly summarizes how you feel when using it.
Day 87 of simping for Zullie
How I (Olek) look at that Chalice Dungeon when it hits me with those dollar store swinging axes
"shortly after entering cummmmfpk" okay no back up, what
Thanks to that brave hunter who’s died millions of times for us to cheese properly lol 😂
This is true hell. Forced to eternally be killed by axes in the coom dungeon over and over for the sick greed of all the players. What a horrific game :'(
The only place on RUclips where the words "cum chalice" are being used for a valid reason and not for the purpose of trolling / harassment.
Lmao
Thanks for the video! I was curious about this and tried to explore the dungeon only to immediately get killed by the first enemy on the stairs. 😅
I have never been brave enough to open that door
I used to think Gerhman lived the most miserable torture in the dream, while in fact it was Olek who has to suffer more for all the Good Hunters.
The name is not bad because it perfectly describes what everyone is feeling the moment those glorious blood echoes show up. It's genius.
Just saw this dungeon appear in RKG's Chalice Dungeon run, and now I get this in my recommendations. Sometimes the algorithm really works.
As someone who is attempting to beat Bloodborne, I'll just buy like 1000 blood vials and be on my way
Thanks Olek, it's because of you I'll never run out of blood echos
This video just randomly popped up after farming the cummm chalice yesterday, and I was really curious of what poor creature was dying all the time
The Cumchalice is coming in clutch for upgrading/buying stuff to test it.
I dont understand how you make your videos so adorable using Darksoul content. You truly are magical.
She is trapped in my souls 2 hitbox video chalice
Am I going to use this? Yes. Am I going to abuse it? No, only for special occasions where I am severely unprepared
I did a video speculating about this being the reason and I’m glad to finally see my theory confirmed. Thank you!
First he moonwalks while I try to beat a boss and now he gives me blood echoes. Guess we're even
Naturally a case of physics not processing because it's so far out of the normal rendering location! Great work as usual Zullie!
Best farming place source is the sacrifice of an prospecting Hunter. One Hunter's death is another Hunter's profit
my true mentor
WORST name?
Retract this heresy.
When I first discovered this i kept walking around waiting for when I gain those sweet blood echoes not knowing i should be waiting in front of the first entrance.
Was just thinking about this today. Glad to see an upoload in my feed magically appear…
Ah, yes... Yharnams most unfortunate hunter.
Everybody always asks "what's the CUMM Chalice?" or "how do I get into the CUMM Chalice?", but only Zullie had the thought to ask "why is the CUMM Chalice?" and possess the drive and tools to find out.
On the topic of Bloodborne, if you want some Useless Data™, the one friendly crow in Hemwick Charnel Lane will actually aggro if you quit the game and then load back in within the vicinity of the friendbird. Had to put the thing down, F.
this wasn't a thumbnail i was expecting to see today
On the contrary, its name is very distinctive and funny, which makes it great.
I have no shame when I admit that I used the coom chalice to skip the consumable farm. Ain't nobody got time to farm blood vials when you're stuck on a boss.
This hunter getting sliced up in the spirit realm is the true MVP.
Holy moly of False Depth... I'm amazed you didn't introduced one like that... That reminds me, I should check if my list of false depths is up to date
I was doing this today. Your timing is impeccable ♥️
