Very cute project! The add-a-quarter ruler is a tool that might be helpful for trimming the foundation paper piecing economy block. I love mine for FPP!
Good morning! I just watched your interview with on Conquering Mount Scrapmore with Brenda!!!! First time here!!!! Thank you so much for sharing this pattern and your technique!!! I have been looking for this pattern for so long!!! Thank you, thank you!!!
Hey, Debbie! This is so cute! Thank you for the FPP template! I’ll email you today. I’m making donation quilt s for children receiving cancer treatments at my local hospital. I’ll adapt this pattern to make a larger quilt-likely with an inner border and a piano key or checkerboard outer border. Or… make four smaller spinning cat blocks! Either, way- or maybe I’ll make both-I’m sure it will be a hit! I’m working on a couple of quilts-a fundraiser and a resident quilt-for our hospiceI, so it won’t happen right away. Suggestion: You could add #catquilt to attract cat lovers to this video. Thanks, and stay well!❤️ Muskoka ON 🇨🇦
Would love to see your final quilts, adding borders would look awesome, near the end of the video is an I Spy version that I made larger for a nephew. I will look out for your email
Hey Debee! I’ve definitely put your pattern on my To-Do List! I won’t likely get to it until late fall. I’m currently working on a twin quilt for our hospice residence, and I’ve promised them a queen for an upcoming fundraiser. I’m also making 2 All Wrapped Up (dachshund) quilts, and an Art East ‘Welcome to My Pad’. Hmmm… I’ve already started my project list, but-if I get time to pre-cut them in May-these small quilts might be good options for my June quilt retreat in PA! Yep! Sometimes you just have to set a definitive goal, which is easy when you are quilting with a bunch of friends! 😁 I’ll keep you updated! Thank you, and stay well! Muskoka ON 🇨🇦

I’ll have to give that a try - thank you for the suggestion!
Using a tracing wheel on your paper lines will make folding the paper back to check your sew lines and help in removing the paper.❤
Yes really good idea, thank you Evelyn.
