Thank you so much for watching! I hope you enjoyed this Cat Quilt Block tutorial. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think about this video. 😀
You are a very good instructor! You speak slowly and distinctly and repeat instructions just enough tines to make it clear. Your speaking voice is very calming also.
I LOVE this cat quilt block. Our family are very much cat lovers. Between me and our 4 kids we have 13 cats. It was 14 but our oldest son had to put his 18 year old cat to sleep last fall. Of them 4 are rescues, and the others were dumped on us and a couple were found ones. 1 I got when she was only about 3 days old and I had to feed her with a syringe! She is now a year old. I am so making pillows for each of us.
Love this pattern! Love sewing along with you. Nothing like a hot cup of coffee and sewing along with your instructions on a dark rainy day! Thanks for posting this sweet, cute pattern. Your videos and you are greatly appreciated.
I made one! Came out very nice. First time doing anything like this. Will make a tote bag with it. I want to do another and make into a pillow. Thank you!
Thinking of so many ways to use this quilt block! Thank you! Think I’ll start with a mini wall quilt and then make a larger quilt for my daughter...show loves cats!
Very cute pattern and detailed instructions for success. The pattern design on your quatrefoil pattern on your background fabric seemed to match up perfectly on the finished square!
Oh Sherrill! What a cute block you designed ❤️👏❤️ I’m working on a quilt that this block would be a wonderful addition too! Thank you so much for all your help with sewing 👏💜👏 Have a wonderful week! 💖 Chris-Raleigh NC
I’m working (so far in my mind!) on a quilt that is a collection of different pieced cats. I’ve pulled fabric and I’m picking cats. I’m picking this one for at least one of the cats, maybe more. Thanks for this!
Was hoping to see how you did the frill? Can you say how long you made it?..two or three times the circumference of the pillow? How wide is the strip? Thank you!
Hi Pat. It has been video taped, and it is with my video editor right now. Release date is problem within 1 to 2 weeks. You will need for the top 2 different colors of Christmas fabric - 7/8 yard each. Fabric for the back 1 1/4 yard of 42" wide fabric. Cotton batting 1 1/4 yard. Tree skirt finished size is 41" diameter. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.😍

Surrounding Blick with a border around each will allow space to make a rag quilt as well! (1/2 inch seam between blocks)
