It's good to know that I'm not the only one who talks to my fabric, machine, pins and stuff I dropped. My language is a little more, um, colorful sometimes. You're a joy! My first video after a week of the flu. I'm inspired.
I'm very late to the party 🎉 I'm very new to patchwork/quilting but just love this and the way you taught it has definitely inspired me to have a go. Thank you so much for sharing 😊
I got brave and did the 4 colours then I did the pins and paws that you also showed me how to do. Thank you so much. I’m self taught and you have taught me so many tricks
Thank u so very much for this pattern. I made a sample block and can't wait to make a larger quilt. U r simply charming to listen to. Thank u for ur talent and sharing.
I live near Portland, Oregon and we had Quilt Market last week. Our local big fabric store had lots of trunk shows and classes for the last two weeks. I actually went to a trunk show and class on Thursday, Karla Alexander, she’s a pattern and Creative Grids ruler designer, loves curves and just about nothing is a straight line. Lots of fun, a couple of friends went to Jenny Doan’s trunk show. We love it when Quilt Market is here. Lots going on. Love your take on these kitties.
Awesome block....you make it look so easy. It's fun to watch and hear your cheery self. I have 5 sisters and only 1 other likes to sew. But lives away. So it's you n me. Keep videos coming..♡
Fantastic tutorial! Now if i could only decide what colors to use in the HST. I made mine out of 2 FQ and some backgroud fabric. Went together really quick. Thanks again!
A day chilling in the hammock sounds amazing. Not here though, we have a lovely tropical storm trying to flood us out. I love the snail trail block and it's adorable with the kitties.
Oh wow, LOVE this! I agree. I watched both of the MSQC tutorials, and never thought of putting them together. You are very creative, Laura-Lynn. This is going on my to-do list.
I have a good friend who has just started quilting since meeting me. I wanted to make her a cat quilt, will try this and see how it goes, thanks for posting, kept thinking there should be a way to do this!!
Very Cute, your very smart to figure this one for sure. I will be watching you more. PS if my granddaughters see this they will be wanting me to make some for them. lol. Like they would have to twist my arm.
so cute, I was doing the cat's, they are so easy.. Love these with the tails. they will be cute for my quilt for kids in the hospital. wonder if you could do a quilt with the dogs
New to your channel. Saw the cross we in the background and was wondering if you have a pattern of RUclips tutorial for them. Thanks for sharing what you do!!!
First of all I love it I did just do one followed you up until the Missouri star one then I added a 10 inch cut diagonally and it measures 15 as Was it supposed to be an 8 in.² I got confused
Carylanne, not sure why your disappointed as there are many "right" ways to do things. This is just one way things can be done. Please remember not everyone has every type of rulers so it is important to teach other ways to do things.
You are right, many ways to do the same thing. I am a huge fan of using the tools available to make my projects easier as well as precise, I also will say that I own many sizes of square rulers, with a shop you could possibly sell more tools if you showed them, again this is my opinion. I shall continue to watch as I am a fan of your humor.

That is such a cute block!!
Very talented and very quick that you put everything together not to mention that sense of humor of yours I can't get enough of it
That superimposing the sewing machine is making me feel like I have double vision.
But the cat and snail mash combo is delightful
Love the fabric you used on the cats behind you. I think it makes it look like fur.

So I did this block but my snail tail block ended up at 8-7/8 and my kitties at 9-1/2...what am I doing wrong?
Olá, adorei Maravilhoso!
Is there no link to her pattern?
Could you put a face on some of the cats?
Why was I seeing 3 arms? Lol I know my vision isn't that good but now I'm seeing 3...😄🤪
Mom where is your square ruler. I've thought you were teaching us the right way to do something. I'm disappointed in this one.
