      I appreciate it! Tons of work getting the car built, but it's coming along nicely. I'm hoping to be able to drive it to work out the bugs by the end of the year.

      Thanks! I'm not a painter so ended up with more orange peel than I'd like, but overall happy with the result.

    First time car painter huh?🤔 Doesn't look like your first time handling a spray gun. Nice work. Looking forward to seeing it out in the sun with that color combo.

      Yep! I got some practice in painting the primer, but that was also the first time I used a spray gun.

    It's way cool to see how far this car has come. I dig the black hood and tail panel, do you like it?

      Thanks! I really do - I need to paint the hood again, there's some tiger striping on it, but overall I really like the theme.

    Kudos for not using that crappin rustolium

    Wow, I know your yer own worst critic here.. Maybe hood does need to be reshot, though man !!!! What a long way indeed, you have come on this project, like Andy said, and (he should know!!!). I think we'd like to see the "tiger" striping, for our selves, cause we know you're handling that paint gun like a "Light sabre" now brother ! Conrats !!! Looking forward to watching the big reveal..... Keep at it brother....

      Once I get the exterior finished I'll probably roll the car out into the driveway & get some footage of it in the sun. Appreciate the kind words!

    Sorry if I missed it.
    What color green and what kind of paint was it?

    • @SlowInFastOut1776
      @SlowInFastOut1776  5 месяцев назад +1

      I used Hot Rod Flatz British Racing Green with their Boulevard Black for the tail panel and hood.

      @@SlowInFastOut1776 Next question. About how much of the green did it take?

    • @SlowInFastOut1776
      @SlowInFastOut1776  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@DannyReckless13 If I remember correctly it was about 3/4 of a gallon, plus the appropriate reducer.

      @@SlowInFastOut1776 Makes sense! I am considering a similar scheme on a coupe. But going with the "Rock Moss" green. Appreciate the quick replies. Looking forward to seeing further progress on your car.
