- Here is the ultimate ranking of all MLB THE SHOW games, from the worst to the best. To make this ranking of the 27 MLB THE SHOW games, we used the press review of each game. For each review, we set the score out of 100. So we averaged all the tests, which gives us an overall of 100 for each game.

I got MLB the show 11 at a pawn shop for a $1. Couldn't be happier started a season with the Yankees. Best MLB the show in my opinion

Derk Jeter's All-Star Baseball 2003 in PS2 is my favorite. It has some really cool special features, like challenges from the past where you try to change history, the ability to draft expansion teams and play in imaginary stadiums, pick up games with current and old-time players, fascinating historical stories told by an old negro league player, thought-provoking tours of seemingly every stadium ever built, a baseball card collecting thing, alternate jerseys you accumulate over time, and the most realistic, intuitive batter interface I've ever seen. It's a shame that it didn't get more love, as the people that made it really seemed to have devoted a lot of effort to making it the best it could be. RIP Acclaim studio

@@joeynatts6542 I didn't start playing The Show again until 21 after not playing it since 10, but the MLB The Show content creators I watch on YT all almost unanimously point to 20 as the best and 18 as the worst.

To me… MLB 2006 before it became “The Show” was my personal favorite. Especially for the year it came out, it was so damn good. I remember my dad thinking it was a “real life game” because back then the “graphics were so good” 😂

There was a version for SNES that came out in the early 90’s and it is considered the best baseball game of that era

MLB 09 was my childhood, never tasted any other version than that. PS2 that I had at that time, until I have a laptop now, the game I choose is still that game. know and memorize the entire Yankees line-up because of it. Glad to see it came in 2nd

There was a game that I used to play on 360 but it had effects like your bat would catch on fire and the ball would catch on fire and there was cool gimmicks but I can’t remember which baseball game it was.

18 wasn’t as bad as everyone says, definitely not the best Show game but definitely not the crap people tried to make it out to be
I played 18 to death, I got every achievement in the game, and I think that it didn’t add anything compared to 17 other than the boring rtts progression

The Show '10 was my favorite of the franchise. Mauer got the cover, and the Twins were exciting at that time. I must have spent hundreds of hours playing that game. This is just the confirmation bias I was looking for.
It was the best the depth in the franchise mode was insane only MVP 05 tops that franchise mode

@@LastLapGod exactly. The game was received by pretty much everyone as a glorified Triple Play title upon release. Fast forward 20 years and it's now the second messiah according to these YT nerds.
08/09 classics, 10-12 are good which franchise mode would've extended
Clips for 19 and 20 had identical "What a way to start off a game" commentary.
MLB the Show 08 has to be the worst of them all, the hitting was garbage pitching everything
Hitting was tough even the pitch was slightly above the zone you couldn’t hit it. Mlb 13 I believe fixed it they expanded the hitting zone
08 was horrible pitches were way too fast couldn’t hit shit a 92mph felt like a 102mph from Chapman. Pitching was tough too the entire Marlins lineup got a hit off any pitcher I brought in

Well I've played since PS2 and though I don't agree with everything in this list in term of order. I do agree that 10 is about the best. I've buy maybe 3 out of every 4 years. Didn't get this years. Can't believe its still tied to PS4 so many years after PS5 came out. But I have maybe 17 of them at this point. 10 and 11 were - IMO the best. The peak.

Mlb the show in general represents baseball very well they are good every year I could care less about a rating and a review , the current game is the best they get better every year
No they don’t pitch speeds are slower than ever. MLB 08-12 had the best pitch speeds realistic speeds not slow fastballs
Have to disagree. The way levelling works in RTTS has been borked for about 4 years now. Starting a new RTTS player is a waste of time as it's tied to a stupid system. They messed up the single player game in other ways - like forcing players to play online and in franchise to progress in RTTS. For a RTTS fan the game has got steadily worse over the past 12 or so years.

People hate '18 because a Yankee is on the cover. People complained about the MVP Edition when the game was released because the case was a Yankees locker. There were online issues upon release, but the game/ RTTS was good offline.

16 and 19 are the best, 18, 22, 23 and 24 are the worst.
