Same, played it for so long even after servers were decommissioned. Amazing game. I play all the new mlb games but 2k13 is BY FAR the best baseball game I’ve ever played
The modes of a game don’t dictate the rating. The depth of my career in 2k wasn’t that bad . The issues of the game were in terms of natural bugs that developers didn’t even care to fix , there was issues with balls rolling thru walls and fielders getting stuck in the wall , lock ups during game play . These were just some of the issues . Plus if you loaded 2k12 and then 2k13 you’d notice the issues were the exact same. Nothing changed from 12 to 13 and those bugs in 12 were never patched either. Now 2k11 was a fun game , I was more a franchise mode guy but that was very deep and fun to play.
I have it on XBOX 360 and everything's good except for some reason it wont replay Home Runs . It shows replays of everything else . Didn't have this issue on my original 360 .
I dont really pay attention to meta critic scores. Depends on what you like to play. Its like rotten tomatoes everybody on there hates adam sandler because they have no taste lol.
They hate 2k because they migrated from sega and everyone loved ea sports games , ea’s stupid cartoon looking non sim playing dumb games never held a candle to 2k sports when they caught their stride with franchise Modes and presentation
Just ordered this game off Amazon for my 360 and Im real stoked. I remember playing the MLB 2K7 on my ps2 as a young thug and it was a banger game. Also, nice hat. O-H!
This game got such a low rating because this game was literally just a roster update and was the exact same game as 2k12. 2k just completely threw in the towel with their baseball game at that point.
This game was good, ign Is biased and and companies was paying. For bad reviews to come out for 2k games.! This game is damn good. It has its flaws. But all ea games has major flaws and they still give them good reviews . This game was sabotagedy I can’t think of any ea game I rather play over a 2k games. Just none !
Really hoping we get some more mlb games the pitching and hitting systems in the show need a upgrade would love some other options it be cool 2k brings it back we get like a my park sandlot feature

This 2k series was great, never knew it was rated so low
13 was because very little was changed from 12 to 13. Though i think that was because 13 was a last minute decision to make.
Because as good as 2K was, The Show was just better. Better modes, better gameplay and more feature rich.

Hard to believe because according to Wikipedia is the most liked MLB 2K
Only flaw is the graphics. Even back then but besides that very few glitched/bugs and smooth gameplay
