Karrie, I live out of country however do love my visits to Las Vegas. I have your restaurant on my list because of this video, not only the photography but the narrative describing your dishes. How generous of you to recognize them!!!!! Just shows what kind of person and owner you are!!!!
Hey! You told everybody about our secret place. Oh well. They take reservations so no long lines. It does get busy during $9,99 lunch specials time (add the Hot and Sour soup for $3. So worth it). The non-dim sum items on the menu seem like a list of American Chinese classics, but they are executed with some surprises (liked you showed with the crab rangoon). Most notable for me is the Moo Goo Gai Pan. This dish is a mushroom masterpiece at Taste of Asia. The owners of Taste of Asia also have a restaurant at the Venetian - Noodle Asia.
Oh, sorry about that, but glad to hear about the reservations! Yes, the lunch specials are a great deal. We previously reviewed their other dishes about a month ago...it's really a great place. And, thanks for the tip on Noodle Asia...looking at them now online...seems very good!
Finally! A reasonably priced Dim Sum restaurant. Please have the $9.95 Lunch Special dishes and provide your thoughts. Best "Orange Chicken" in Las Vegas, I think. Whoops! You did mention it. Thank You for another very thorough video review.
Have you been to New Asian BBQ lately? It is NOT cheaper, and, from 3-6 you can get all the Dim Sum at Taste of Asia for $5!! Also, good luck waiting in line during the holidays. Anyway, thanks for watching and commenting!!
@ you like what you like… lol Yes I have and $5-6 per dish isn’t bad the reviews speak for themselves… you don’t need to convince me…and I like what I like… thanks for the video…
Well, technically, we're not in a Chinese restaurant. It's called 'Taste of Asia', not 'Taste of China'. But, to your point about the name of the dish, on the menu they do call them 'Potstickers', however, the host referred to them as Gyoza/PotStickers and so we did the same in the title bar of the review. OK, glad you liked the review and thanks for commenting!
@@LetsEatVegas I raved to my husband about your channel. Excellent reporting as always. Keep up the good work. I do realize that the restaurant was called Asia but the entire menu is Chinese food. LOL
Love you both but if you’re not going to get to know us and share who you are ss am unsubscribed now when you want to share will subscribe again James and Paul share everyone does we do not judge we just want to know who you are put a face and we will love it
I believe they have already responded very appropriately to your comment the last time you made it. Anonymity is how they prefer to do their reviews. If you listen to each episode they kindly share glimpses of their food experiences growing up….. Not all creators have to be the same…
Thanks!
WOW! Thanks Karrie, 😁...VERY much appreciated and unexpected!!
Very generous of you to an extremely well deserving master of food reviews❤

Well, that's why I say 'maybe', lol. You're going to love it!!
I LOVE Dim Sum. Chive Dumplings are one of my favorites. What's YOUR favorite Dim Sum dish?
Pan fried dumplings
Yes! Love those too...OK, I love them all, lol. 😁😁 (except for the Chicken's Feet, lol)
Gyoza are Japanese dumplings. You are in a Chinese restaurant Sir.....they're known as "potstickers".

Not everyone wants to be famous or recognized. Some just want to share their interests and passions discretely. I tend to trust them more.
