No, it was busy, every table taken, but they don't take reservations.
I don't know if I'd have put the first place on the list with everything else. It seems like all the other places were genuinely bad with questionable food quality and poor service, while the first place simply doesn't cater to your palate. It seems a little unfair to put 'this popsicle wasn't sweet enough for me' on the same list as 'this fish tasted straight up rancid'. Other than that, it's not a bad video, and I find your more whimsical narration amusing.
Yes, maybe we were being too nice to the popsicle guy as not only was it not sweet enough but so many of the flavors simply didn't work in popsicle form. We did briefly say something to that effect but maybe should have focused on that more. Good comment and thanks for watching!

I don't know if it's true, but I heard aguas frescas means, "Cold drinks." Please correct me if I'm wrong because my Spanish isn't that good.
Wikipedia says 'agua fresca' means 'cool waters' or 'fresh waters' and are light non-alcoholic beverages made from one or more fruits, cereals, flowers, or seeds blended with sugar and water. Hope that answers your question! Thanks for watching and commenting, 😁😁

I had the prime rib special at Tony Roma's on Fremont Street. It was $8.99 in 2021. Based on a quick search I think it's $10.99 now? It was pretty darn good for that price though. Only available 4:30-6:30 and I'm not sure if its every day of the week.
Yes, Tony Roma's is a pretty good deal for what it is. We did consider including them but thought it was more of a chain type restaurant the hours of the deal were too restrictive. But if you can make it at those hours it's well worth it! Thanks for commenting, 😁😁
I've been to both Galpão Gaucho and Fogo de Chão in San Jose, CA and I liked GG better. They both offer a wide variety of meats, but Fogo charges extra for shrimp and I thought that the selection at GG was a bit better. On the salad bar, for those who love parmesan cheese, GG offered a giant wheel of self-serve Parmigiano Reggiano.
Agreed! There's another place in Vegas that has Brazilian style and GG is better as well. I thought the lamb at GG was utterly fantastic and much better than any other Brazilian place (including the Fogo de Chao in LA). And yes, the salad bar at GG is better than all the others as well. GG is top of the Brazilian game right now! Thanks for commenting,

Thanks for reviewing The Rustic House/John Cutter. This is only the second video I've seen that mentions The Rustic House/John Cutter. Their Sunday all-day steak special looks to be not only one of the best value steak specials, but from what you and the other reviewer said, it might be one of the best steak meals in town, period.
You're welcome! You know, we had never heard of RH/JC, but found them online in a random search. Decided to give them a try at the JC out by Red Rock for the Sunday Steak Special. Wow, we were blown away at the quality and for 1/2 off...a no brainer. We've been back several times but now at the RH on Charleston/Rampart. Well, don't listen to GF, listen to us, 😁. I agree with you about GF in that it's always extoling the virtues of the restaurants in the show. We don't do that. We give you our honest opinion and don't hesitate to say bad things about a place if it's deserved. Letty's is the real deal and you should give it a try. Thanks for the comment!
I lived in California for forty years and I'm a huge foodie. I'm also a very accomplished cook. I go to Vegas very frequently for the food. The best Mexican restaurants in Vegas are the Lindo Michuacan restaurants. You've apparently never been to any of them.

@@LetsEatVegas You are correct. I have not been to Letty's. I will go there next time I'm in Vegas (in a few weeks). One of the reasons I like Lindo is because they have lengua as an entrée. I've never seen that in any other Mexican restaurant. Regardless, I will try Letty's.
