As my local restaurant I’ve been there a few times since they opened. And have missed the dim sum time by 15 to 20 minutes! I’m so looking forward to get there for dim sum some time soon. Many of the items you ordered would be my standard dim sum order. I am so looking forward to trying the dim sum.

I've been to several. So far the best has been a place called 'Mint'. There are two locations. One is just off the strip. The other is about 6 or 7 miles west of the strip. Seems on par with the other ones in town outside of the ones in casinos and the new Palette. Dim sum has become pricey just like everything else post-pandemic. Also, they charge for using a credit card and debit card; bring cash.

Yes! The crispy noodle dish is fantastic. You should also try Taste on Rainbow. They have an excellent version of that dish as well! We did a review of them a few months ago. See you in December, lol.

Good point! We noticed the prices on the online menu and were confused as it didn't align with what people were saying on Yelp and other blogs. But, the menu at the restaurant was different and the prices we list in the video are what we were charged. Thanks for commenting!
You would think the best Chinese restaurants would be in the SF bay area. Wrong. Vegas Chinese restaurants have us beat by a mile. I think the Chinese chefs in Vegas are much more competitive which make for outstanding Chinese cuisine.
Well, we got the Raiders and the A's, so why not all the great chefs as well, lol. When I first moved to Vegas many years ago I was shocked at the Chinese/Asian food scene here. Being a Chinese food lover it was a very pleasant surprise. And, it just seems to get better and better! Thanks for the comment...very insightful AND inciteful (I'm sure to get some contrary opinions from Bay Area dwellers, lol)!
@@LetsEatVegas LOL!! I hate to say it, but the same thing holds true for Mexican restaurants. We don't have a Letty's out here and we've got thousands of Mexican restaurants, most are quite mediocre. Where the bay area does shine is with its Patisseries.

I wish you'd stop dipping every piece of food into hot mustard, especially food that is already sauced (like sweet & sour pork), then commenting on the flavor of the dish. It's a little like having ketchup on the table for someone's french fries, then dipping mac & cheese into it. But the restaurant looks great.
I try all the food as delivered first, then try it with many different combinations of sauces and seasonings. The review is based on the food as delivered. If we find a sauce or seasoning that makes it better we suggest that as well.

Dim Sum is about 30 cents more than Orchid Garden (where credit cards are accepted) for each dish. A small amount but it is more expensive.

Low prices and "travel back in time??" Hardly. But, it is one of the best places for dim sum in Vegas at the moment.
