I enjoy this channel so much because you feature a lot of Chinese restaurants. It’s my absolute favorite food. I want to go to every restaurant on this video. Ty for another great video.😊
Thank you! I think we've had three videos come out since this one, 😁😁. I know our latest lists a number of bargains and one of them is on a place with excellent Egg Fu Young, 😋😋. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Always look forward to your phenomenal food reviews. Appreciate your thorough reviews & love the quality of your accompanying photos …food looks so scrumptious!
China Tea House, on Sepulveda and Madrona in Torrance CA, closed years ago. I used to go often when living in Manhattan Beach (no good Chinese there), always ordered their scallion oil chicken and rice, so good! I think the owner's son David ran the place, super nice guy. The restaurant has been sitting empty for years with no new tenant to this day.
So nice to hear from someone who remembers this restaurant. David Song, I believe he died a few years ago of a heart attack. He was very well known and learned to make Chinese food from his mother, Rose, who was a wonderful person and fantastic chef. His sister was the Asian girl on Soul Train. Sorry to hear the place is sitting empty...such a great history there. Thanks for the comment...brings back so many fond memories, 💖
Everything looks absolutely delicious. Some are familiar from childhood and some I’ve never heard of. Can you ship one of each to me here in the SF Bay Area? LOL!
Vegas Local here. My favorite spot used to be Yummy Sushi and Grill on Marks Street and Sunset in Henderson by the sunset station. unfortunately, the closed right around the pandemic. best American Chinese food I ever had. there are several other Asian places named Yummy. but they are not the same related to the one that was on marks street. also, Joyful House on Spring Mountain just west of Arville is good too. it was hit or miss for a while during the pandemic. but the last time I was there it was great.
Thanks for all the info! Never made it to Yummy Sushi, now wish I had. As for Joyful House, they closed in Oct of 2022, 😔 Thanks for watching and commenting!
Please find me an Indonesian restaurant, the closest I have been able to find is the Banana Leaf Cafe, there was a place on Sunset (I think0, but it closed during covid and hasn't reopened.
Yes, that's quite a challenge...also been to Banana Leaf and wasn't impressed, 😔. If I hear of or find something I'll let you know....please do the same for us! Thank you for watching and commenting.
Some Taiwanese people would not be happy about you calling their food Chinese food lol. All jokes aside, good video. Though lots of americanized Chinese food in there. China. mama has great honey walnut shrimp. I'd suggest trying: Big dan Shanxi taste in the SF market, get the cold noodles (without sesame), spicy noodles, spicy noodles with tomato and egg, and dry cumin lamb noodles. I also suggest trying Win Kee Chinese BBQ in SW Vegas and get their char Sui and their Hong Kong noodle soup with egg noodles, wontons and duck. Also, China mama opened up a new restaurant recently called "spring" by china mama
Thanks for the comment! No matter what you call any given cuisine it will make someone mad, lol. Had the HWS at China Mama. It is very good, but honestly, the best in town is at Coronado Cafe. In addition to the 'Best 8' video, we did a full review of them: ruclips.net/video/bjGy0JOUJy4/видео.html Also been to Big Dan's...really liked most of the food we had there. And, Win Kee...it's on our list...can't wait to go there. And, same with 'Spring'...coming soon. Thanks for the excellent suggestions and supporting our channel, 😁😁
Wow, difficult question, 🤔... not necessarily in this order, but Yun Noodle & Dumpling, Sinh Sinh, and Taste of Asia. Are you planning a visit to Vegas?
To me, and I've lived here 40 yrs? Chinese food is not better than Miami?🏝 Not that Miami is the best..cos New York is probably better? But so far, I haven't found very good Cantonese Chinese food🤔 I miss my favorite, Honey Chicken? (If you know a place where I can find it, please tell me!)
So sorry to inform you that Amlee closed at the end of June. The sign in the window indicates "Viva Michoacan", which might be an offshoot of the Lindo Michoacan group. Hopefully you can find pressed duck elsewhere!
That's terrible news. Loved that place as you could tell from our review and inclusion in our Best 8 video. I wish they would reopen in Chinatown proper. They would do very well there. Dang, the search for pressed duck resumes, 😔😔. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Yes, some of the best prices in the city and probably the most consistent food we've tried. Every time, without fail, the food quality is the exact same. Just too bad it isn't a little 'warmer' inside, but, it's all about the food 😁😁😋😋. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I live in Vegas & try to find time to chk out some Rest ( And speaking personally it's easy not to bother with the Heat,I find it discourages my appetite) But when it cools down, these Rest most def inspire one to ' Dine out'..Excellent review!
Chinese cooking popularity is taking a dive because of a the horror studies of the Chinese food stories . With all the artificial foods , the sewer sauce that comes from the sewer, the polluted ingredients in the food. Chinese food which in the past which was promoted as healthy has been destroyed. I had not been to joyful house in a while. Sad to hear they are gone
Was Madame Woo related to Sam Woo in Sam Francisco??
Hmmm, good question...not as far as I know. They also spell their last names differently: Madame Wu and Sam Wo.
Thanks for the great variety, much appreciated. Karla in Cali.
You're very welcome, Karla. This was a fun review that we've been putting off for months now, 😁😁. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel!

New York Chinese restaurant on lake mead for NY Style takeout...Eggrolls legit..
Thanks for info...we'll definitely look into it, 😁😁
Do you know if any restaurant in Las Vegas serves Winter Melon soup?
I believe a restaurant we reviewed a few months back, New Asian Barbecue, has Winter Melon Soup! Enjoy, 😁😋😋
@@LetsEatVegas Thanks 😄
It all depends on three things for us to consider the best Chinese food. They are wonton soup, beef with broccoli and the tea.
Interesting choices! Thanks for watching and commenting, 😁

Rest in peace Sylvia Wu who passed away on September 19, 2022. She lived to be 106.

All the dishes seem to american chinese. No real authentic Chinese cuisine.
