Thank you! Well, we've done 50+ long form reviews in our first year! With a full time job going at the same time there's only time for one review per week. Thanks for watching and commenting! 😁😁
@@LetsEatVegas Haha it wasn't meant as a criticism. More like: I wish you had been doing this longer. Couple of things I really appreciate: You actually explore a vast majority if not the WHOLE menu in your reviews. You also have some of the best close ups I've seen in food reviews, especially the cross sections. You also highlight some places that may have gotten a "lower" yelp score but are still VERY GOOD. My wife and I visit once or twice a year for 2-3 days at a time and its HARD to figure out where to go. Thank you
LOL, I suspected you weren't criticizing but thought I'd add a little background info about our channel. Thanks for the excellent comments and glad our videos are helping you figure out where to go in Vegas...it can definitely be confusing to know where to go and what to order! 😁😁
Thanks for the video. The duck and chicken wings look legit. I’ll be heading there for dinner if its not busy. The only place I wait for a table is at the Oyster Bar (Sun-Thur).
Unfortunately Chinese restaurants in my area only serve Americanized food rather than traditional beautiful dishes as you showed today. When you showed that beautiful duck Wowsa I would have wanted to pick up the plate after eating it and savour the juice!!!! I have so many restaurants on my list for my next trip to Vegas I’m going to have to stay a month lol!!!!! Thank you for another wonderful and articulate review!!!!
Sorry to hear of the sorry state of affairs with the Chinese food in your area, 😔. You're going to have a great time in Vegas! And, next week or two we have another fantastic Chinese place to review with tremendous duck as well. 😋😋🦆🦆
Forget Elmer on the chow fun!! I'm in ... on the way . Lol . One of my all time favorites dry.... it looked wonderful with the kinda burnt wok flavor. Yum .. my fav is barbequed pork ..... ❤❤
holy cow, dat roasted bbq pig looks yummyAF! might be on my bucket list when i visit vegas near xmas time! im renting a car for couple days so i can make it to chinatown and south point and angie's lobster ..not bad only likes 4miles away from angies lobster and 9 miles from the rio hotel where im staying at
Yes, definitely check this place out! Also, from the Rio, jump across the street to the Gold Coast and go to Ping Pang Pong...very good dim sum and Chinese entree dishes as well! We have a review of their Dim Sum dishes: ruclips.net/video/Qy3zKD8Lslo/видео.html
You have such an incredible way with words! That is exactly exactly the reason why you are my favorite Vegas RUclipsr. As a chef, if your dishes were as creatively brilliant as the way you express yourself, well…. I promise I am not a sycophant…. I just appreciate all of the poetic nuances. You don’t have to answer this, but I am guessing you have to script that because otherwise, if you can just articulate this way, in an impromptu manner, I might have to hate you.😜 I may just have to put this on my must try list. Seven days is not enough to try all of these Amazing restaurants. But that noodle dish, the crispy one, is causing my mouth to water, so thanks for that…. By the way, I’m absolutely sure this is TMI, and I’m going to share anyway. I tried hot pot for the first time because I live in Podunk USA and they finally got a hot pot restaurant! I was so excited to try it, but between being fraught with anxiety due to a 90 minute time limit, and ADHD, I was truly in fight or flight mode. Needless to say, (then why say it? 😜) it was not a pleasant experience experience. Oh, and it was their first week. Our server also spilled hot broth on, my daughter, and proceeded to dump a glass of diet Dr Pepper on her! when I asked daughte if she was OK, the server blurted out , “oh no she’s fine!, “And did not let my daughter answer…. Wow. I am certainly off on a rabbit trail because of course I am the center of your universe and you have all the time in the world to read comments that are more akin to short novels!😜 So, to make a short story longer and more boring, …. My daughter and I understood or at least I attributed her, “insensitive “comment to the fact that it is her first week. Plus, she was probably fraught with her own anxiety. Then to spill hot water on a customer, and then a cold soda, she must’ve been internally, combusting with freaked outness (yes, I make up words sometimes. Sorry, not sorry?) to the nth degree! I was already in the thick of it, trying to navigate too many sauces (a crime of my own volition, I might add) I’m a catalyst…so sue me! (Again, sorry not sorry but I am a Broadway nerd which absolutely shows my age because this is a “guys and dolls” reference. Never mind. Why am I sharing this? I have absolutely no idea. Well, partially it’s because you elicit this kind of openness, inadvertently , and would never knowingly open the door to this kind of crazy! Oh, and did I mention that prior to Covid when I had at least a modicum of health, I was a therapist. Unconventional? A lil’ bit…. A bit of an iconoclast? Absolutely … I was caught between wanting to protect my daughter, (who is fine, by the way. She’s a real champ.) and wanting to protect the server and make her feel better! Again, of my own volition, this exacerbated, my anxiety, and finally, I cried on the way home!! (I warned you that this was going to be TMI…😬😁) I guess the reason why I’m sharing this is that I would love to hear your perspective. I watch, “The Bear , “I know you have one!” Seriously, though. How might I have better handled the situation? I respect and value your input.. again, not a sick Aunt…. oh, voice to text, I love you. Why do you hate me? I repeat, not a.sycophant…… If you have made it this far, thanks for “listening.“ However, again, no expectations…. 😁😜🤟💜
Oh. PS. I am old and blind in one eye. And, consequently, I really suck at technology and have spent way too long trying to edit this, so one last, “sorry, not sorry… I am working on not apologizing for every single thing… If you are still reading this, I both applaud you and feel sorry for you 🤣 You have made it this far! Bravo! 🙏👏👏👏 Anyway, my final comment , (I really mean it this time!) I’m not going to go back and edit. Not because I don’t want to, but I apparently can’t navigate texting or commenting either! Oh well. I have other strengths. But thank you in advance for not judging… At least that’s what I am going to tell myself!
Sorry to hear about what happened to your daughter. Having owned and operated a restaurant for many years this type of thing happens and usually the server doesn't know what to do (especially if the restaurant is very busy) and behave in strange ways. Really, a manager should have come over to chat with you and make things right. But again, being a new place, they were probably in over their heads and running around crazily. Thanks for the kind words about our narration. We do put a lot of thought into what we say so as to best convey what we experienced during our visit. Thanks again for watching and supporting our channel, 😁😁
Thank you for listing the times. This is an interesting topic. I don't remember about the Brisket Noodle Soup, but for the Crispy Noodle dish I remember not recognizing the greens in it and asking our server. He told me it was Bok Choy. It didn't look like the Bok Choy I'm used to seeing, and once it's cooked into a dish it's not easy to discern a flavor difference, but I'm not an expert in all possible greens used in Chinese food and so I wasn't going to argue with the employee of the restaurant. So, when this comment came in I was confused. I called the restaurant this morning and asked them if the HK Crispy Noodle dish contained Bok Choy. They said YES. I pushed them and told them of the comments on here and they then said, "well, yes, it's choy sum, we don't use bok choy in any of our dishes, but the difference is so trivial that we don't usually mention it and just say it's bok choy since few are familiar with choy sum". Pretty amazing. Anyway, glad to know about this and I'm going to go buy some choy sum this week so I can taste it raw and see how it compares to bok choy. I'll let you know how that goes as maybe a lot of our viewers may not know the difference and how they compare to one another. It may make for a good topic on one of our Member's only videos. We'll see.
Interesting that someone so persnickety to go to the trouble of noting a small discrepancy in our review would then proceed to misspell 'bok choy' as 'bAk choy'. You'll see that right after the 8th word in your comment. Anyway, thanks for supporting our channel...every comment helps us grow, 😁.
You're quickly becoming one of my favorite food reviewers for Vegas food. Only bad thing is need MORE videos :P

The food looked delicious and fresh. Another awesome review. Ty.😊
It was! Thanks for watching and commenting, 😋😋😁😁
Can't wait to try! Thanks for the recommendation for Taiwan Deli. The oyster omelet, fish ball soup and radish cakes were great!
Funny, we were just discussing their radish cakes today and remembering how good they are, 😋😋. Thanks for commenting!
It's been a while since we been here and time to go back again. Tks for jogging my memory.
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching and commenting, 😁😁
Delicious Hong Kong-style BBQ in Southwest Vegas? Yes, please! 😋
Will def give this place a try when we go to Vegas. Thanks for the review!
Have fun! 😁😁😁😋😋

You won't want to miss Win Kee! The char siu, and almost all the dishes, were fantastic, 😋😋. Thanks for watching!!

This is in my zip code. I will definitely check it out.
You won't be sorry, 😁😁😋😋. Thanks for watching!
I’m chinese. This place looks legit.
Totally!!

😁💖💖💖
I may be wrong, but the vegetable in the HK Crispy Noodle is not Bok Choy, but rather Choy Sum.
Correct, if you look down a ways you'll see quite the discussion about this in the comments, lol. Enjoy! And, thanks for watching and commenting, 😁😁
It’s always better to have some buns to put your pork into.
Well said, lol. Thanks for supporting our channel, 😁😁
No way you had all that food in one sitting. If you did you would have to be carried out.
True, on this review it took two trips and we almost needed to be carried out each time, lol. Thanks for watching and commenting, 😁😁

At what minute:second in the video?
