My boy, dude I just went to Lofoten actually in Reine they have another football field like the one in Henningsvær. I flew the drone and ram just like you. I thought about you the whole time. Thanks for the inspiration ❤️I had the best day ever hiking and visiting Lofoten 🇳🇴
My last four trips were exploring and hiking the Amazon rain forest in Peru, diving with hammerhead sharks in the Galápagos Islands and doing safari in South Africa and checking out medieval castles and villages in northern France. I’ve been bummed lately cause I haven’t thought of any places that grabbed my attention and excitement like my previous 4 trips did. Then I came across this video and my jaw hit the floor- Norway, Sweden and St. Petersburg Russia is my next destination. Of course I’m not heading out there til late May... Anyway; I just liked and subscribed- keep the videos coming:)
Super cool video! Norway looks amazing! I just got back from the beach and am almost done editing all the shots I got and I’m loving it! And I got a raise at work and may be able to go out of the country for the first time in the next few years! Keep up the videos Ryan. Super inspirational!

Ryan Shirley Oh, I didn’t know you wrote back! I’m so sorry! My mother comes from Vesterålen in Northern-Norway(It’s a proximately two hours from Lofoten), and my father comes from Bergen(west in Norway). Most of my heart belongs to the north part of Norway, but I live 30 minutes away from Bergen in a place called Os.
@@RyanShirley i have a mavic air,,, and i will go to norway this december,,, some tips for the drone like how many batteries do i need to bring along... what type of flight modes suitable for some particular places there...
Ryan your next destination should be ALASKA! I would love to see what you think of it there. It's always been on my bucket list to go one day. And I would love to see it through your eyes with your zest and wholehearted enthusiastic love for life.
As a drone guy, you might want to be aware of the NEW and free Google Earth Studio. It is a super professionally made app which allows the creation of "fake" drone imagery from their some 2000 photogrammetry produced 3D imagery regions in Google Earth. It can be used where a drone is not practical or allowed. It can create very good imagery if you keep some distance as recommended. It is all keyframe based and allows added synchronized layer tracking points when exported to Adobe After Effects. It captures clear to 4K. And it comes with 5 pre-made flight path wizards. Some people are already incorporating segments in their videos like yours. BTW - Final output can be imported into Photoshop CC too for final render (without extra layer tracking points). Open as sequence and PS automatically does the rest. It does not contain it's own final .mp4 render engine. It outputs all frames to a folder. That's the one bummer.
@@RyanShirley It is being done by others who use real drones (as supplements to what they can get). RUclips search ... "Google Earth Studio" and you will see hundreds of videos already made this way. It's relatively new and done by application first only. MS is just beginning to get into this too off their Azure servers. That will be next year. Photogrammetry is a powerful new tool for creating realistically looking 3D models of entire regions. MS is claiming they are going to do the whole world. FYI only...
@Ryan Shirley, Absolutely breathtaking! I can’t wait for my trip to Northern Norway! However, I’m curious as to @4:32 why did you say, ”It was too freaky!?” Was it paranormal? Was it some kind of creature in the night? Plz tell 🤗
Thanks Joel! My mind got the best of me and I just started thinking of scary scenarios and then it got pitch dark and my phone only had like 1% battery and I needed it to hike down for a flashlight. I also got worried about bears but in reality there’s no bears there, and the northern lights were gone so I had no reason to freeze on a cliff 😂
Dude, this is so funny, Yesterday I’ve set up the same route for my norway trip in september. hahaWhich month have you used to visit norway? How long have you been there and how rainy was it? Did u sleep,in a tent or car?
Digital Dre great minds think a like! 😉 I was there at the beginning of September. It didn’t rain at all for me. I spent most of the nights in a car and I got a Airbnb for one night.
Hi!! I love your videos, they are so cool. How did you record the northern lights with the drone? I am planning to head there but I thought that you couldn't capture them with a drone.. Thanks!
I am born in Medfjordvær right across the fjord from the mountain of Segla, the same mountain from this video,I have just come down to Oslo after been some days on holliday in Medfjordvær,I wasn't on the top of Segla this time, but I was there 4 years ago,a great view, but not easy to get there for a 64 years old and a bit too corpulent man.

From Moskenes you can take ferry to bodø and fly from there or drive back to Tromsø. This is a great trip and you will pass by all the places mentioned in the video (some will require you to depart from the main road so you need to plot the locations on a map), and plenty more scenic places.
