I'm really thinking of moving to Norway. I'm American but have always been fascinated with how progressive and well-off the Scandinavian countries are. As I near the completion of high school I'm starting to realize my responsibilities stacking up and it seems insurmountable. I don't really know how I'll support myself as an adult as I struggle with anxiety but that's also why I want to move. I think sometimes it takes a significant upheaval in one's life to truly grow as a person. Norway is a beautiful country with beautiful people. Your clothes and hair are very cute btw!
After finishing high school it can seem like the world is on your shoulders but travelling is a great way to help you get clear on what you want to do in life. Don't worry about things too much. You can always change your career path :) Norway is a wonderful country and I hope you get to experience it very soon :) Thank you for you watching and taking the time to leave a comment :)
But you will need to study, migrants fight over unskilled jobs. Living expenses are 1200USD monthly for food and rent but you will get a loan for that. Engineering and IT will get you a job starting at 50'usd/yr, or healthcare, but lower pay at 35'usd/yr for nursing.
Planning to go there by the end of March 2020 :D Booked my tickets for a week in Tromsö! So excited!
Wohoo! Have an amazing time! Let me know how it goes!

Planning on driving there from the uk in the nearish future in my Land Rover Defender. This vid has made me want to do it even more. 👍👍
Sounds like an awesome road trip :)
Waiting till next year when my son is 5 or 6. Too young now but that gives me time to get the car ready for winter. May do a shorter run to Switzerland first.
@@jimhailwood2873 if you are planning to get a ferry and drive here consider it carefully and get ready not to relax too much while driving 😀. Roads are pretty extreme here once you go much further from Oslo and other larger towns unless you take only highways (but then see not much of the wiew). So much incline/decline and curve after curve. Some roads for example around Loen are so narrow that you go max 30km/h and use spots on sides to let the car in front to pass you. So make a flexible time planning then will enjoy the trip. Locals from Oslo usually fly and rent the cars there once visiting northern parts of the country. It's absolutely stunning and worth visiting all over Norway.
The Artic Cathedral is not designed after icebergs and sapmi laavus. Its a copy of Håja island, outside Kvaløya! You can see it from Sommarøya. Sommarøya is a great pleace to visit during your stay. But you'll need a car as there is only one bus a day going there.
Almar Nordby finally someone said it! ☺️
@@theder97 viktig å få fram fakta 😅
I like the Norwegian cities because most of the houses are built with wood and I like the snow in winter

Woww! We just got plane tickets for Norway in late September, we heard the weather is "nice" that time, but like you said, ''It's never bad weather, it's bad clothes'. Can't wait to be there. Greetings from Puebla, Mexico.
Yay! How exciting 😀 you’ll have the beat time. For tips on what to wear and pack, check out my winter packing list here bit.ly/winter-packing-list . Any questions, let me know 🤓
The Intrepid Guide we know weather sometimes can be unpredictable, but based on your experience, how would you describe the climate conditions of Tromso? Talking about late September, and first weeks of October. Since we will be in a Euro Trip we don’t wanna pack too much or on the contrary, not to pack the necessary.
Thanks Michele :)
@@dosdemochilazo9870 I would say it'll be quite cold. Even now, during summer it's averaging 12 degrees (53 fahrenheit) during the day. Dress warm and in layers so you will be comfortable no matter which way the weather swings.
Dos De Mochilazo Hi! If it helps the weather is about 4-10 degrees Celsius now, and no snow in the city yet. But we do have snow on the mountains around the city. And it's been a loot of rain ☺️
Going to Tromso in November!!!

In Tromso, you don’t have to take a tour for northern light. It is easily visible in Tromso too. It is a big gimmick of tour companies in Norway.

Thank you so much :) That's so wonderful :)

I live in Tromsø. What i can say that’s the best things to do is 1: definetly going alpine skiing.
Thanks for the tip 😀
When is the best time of year to go to Tromso for best chance of seeing Northern Lights?
The best time to see the Northern Lights is during the winter months because you need dark skies to see them. That's roughly from December until March but it could also be as early as November. All the details are here in my Northern Lights guide bit.ly/TromsoNorthernLightsTour
At the winter, it's the only time
I love this 🙏🏻
