@@_F_O_M_O wow thank you!! This is awesome!! I hope you enjoy the upcoming videos (we went to a cruisse to norway and visited quite some interesting cities). Have a lovely day
Great video. We were in Tromso on 27 Jan and our original mini bus northern lights photography tour was cancelled due to bad weather. We managed to secure a booking with another company for the same night "Chasing Lights" which was a much bigger bus with a restroom (it was actually cheaper). We chased those lights all the way to the Finish/Swedish border and it was an epic adventure (10 hour return journey) & the tour guides made sure everyone got a picture and had fun. Highly recommend.
Haha thanks ☺️ I’m very happy for you guys! We were there end January to start February so it may be similar conditions but I believe in December it’s should be a bit less light (and more aurora chances maybe?). Super happy it helped 👏🥳
Hi there! The reindeer tour was amazing, you will definitely love it. I was wearing a thermo shirt, with then a warm shirt (long sleeves both) and then the jacket. In this video i show all details about the clothes I wear in Tromso, and I wear it no matter if night or day, because it was freaking cold no matter the time XD. Muchísimas gracias María del Carmen ❤ me alegra que te haya gustado ❤ a nosotros nos hubiese ayudado ver un vídeo así antes de ir allí por eso me animé a hacerlo 🎉😂
Sure thing. We rented a cabin in Laksvatn (around 45 min from Tromso by public bus) and that was the perfect spot to watch the auroras and get lost. I will post a video about that experience. side note: the bus ride til there was very beautiful too
Very nice video. Just wanted to know whether mobile network or internet connectivity or wifi available in reindeer sledging and during whale watching ?
Great question. Honestly we were very excited watching the whales/orcas and reindeers to pay attention to the internet connection of our phones...so I am afraid we did not check that. They sadly had no info about it in their websites but maybe you can ask them directly. I put the links on the description. Sorry I could not help more.
I checked the link I put in the description and apparently that exact adventure is no longer offered, at least right now. But there are many for whale watching. I hope you find one that fits you :)
@timothygoldman13 very welcome 🤗 I just checked and in march there is only one activity with whales, and it’s pretty expensive (also because it’s 4 days). Here the link with the filter on for “whales” and “march”: www.visittromso.no/booking-activities?categories=29559&facilities.default=100849
Love the honesty. I was thinking of visiting tromso because my husband wants to see aurora. But as i see on your video its like the most disappointing tour. Can i ask what month is that?
Hi. In our experience the aurora tours are as you said the least enjoyable, but the auroras are there amazing. Just go a bit further away from the city (I have a video about the auroras we saw and how to better hunt them if you want exact details). We were in tromso from end of January to mid February of 2023. Big hugs!
I just spent a week there hoping to see the northern lights. I took a 4 hour boat trip on the fjord, but no sign of the northern lights. Very disappointing.
Right? In the city of tromso I had the same situation. I saw a very tiny aurora but thats it. When I staid a bit outside the city in a cabin is when I saw many...I cant understand how so many people see auroras inside tromso city. Thats why I thought I should comment it in case it helps someone. If you want to try to hunt auroras in the future I have a video with the tricks to actually see auroras. I wish I would have known that before.
That's disappointing. But my research and gut feeling taught me Tromso was not really the best place to look for Aurora. You can see it better in Manitoba, Canada. The Southern Borail you can see well is Tasmania, Australia.
It is tru in Tromso city was difficult to see the Aurtoras, its better to go a bit further. We went to Laksvatn and saw plenty and it was not as far but in the full nature. Canada seems awesom too, great idea.
I love the honesty of this video content.
Thank you 😊
Just came back from Tromso and can attest that all the things you say in your review are true!!
Very aptly reviewed 👌

Hey Sandy, that sounds like an amazing experience! Very glad for you ⭐ We were around the same dates than you, maybe we saw each other on the street☺
Can I get the name of the cheaper company, please?
@@linaqari2926 The company is called “Chasing Lights”.

Good news, my partner remembers that we had internet connectivity in both adventures(whale watching and the Sami reindeer).
What month was this? Your video is 6 months old so is this March? I'm asking because of the whale tour.
We were in Tromso from end January to mid February. Anything just ask :)

I just read your full description and see you were there in January. Are there whale tours in March. Thanks for your video and the links.
