The Bronco Sport is a very very good vehicle!! My gf has the 3 cylinder and it is just fine on highway and local roads. It is a bit noisy at the low end but it is totally fine. Though If was to get a Bronco Sport it would be the Badlands with the 2.0 and better 4wd system!
My friend test drove a new 2023 Bronco in race red. He said he liked the Bronco Sport better for noise, mileage, price, ease of entry, exit, and visibility out the windshield. 🤠
The bronco sport has really grown on me in the last couple years. I may be considering one when my lease is up next year. I like the idea of the heritage with the retroy look, but I think I prefer the look of the black grill.
Solid all around machine Tim, and I agree -- the retro look is cool but to my tastes the white is a bit too much for the eyes! Cheers from Sudbury Ontario 👌👌
I bought a 2021 BS Big Bend when they were first released in 2021. I really liked it, but last November I traded it in for the 2023 BS Badlands with the bigger 2.0 four-cylinder. I absolutely love my Badlands. They are both great little vehicles but to me, the Badlands is a cut above the three-cylinder models. With more GOAT modes, the locking differential and the more powerful engine it just feels like a better driver. Mine came with the Falken WildTrak tires which only add to the drivability and trail appeal. Ford hit the mark with these little buggies. They are nice to look at and perform well. I'm sold. In fact, I'm sold twice.
I bought a brand new 2023 ford Bronco only had it 15 days the motor sounds like a diesel .the dealership said it needs a new motor we only put 1,493 mile on it .
the 23 and 24 came with only1.5 when i was looking. even on fords built site. we bought two bronco sports with 1.5. I hate that 3 cyd. wish it had minimum 2.3 engine.
Great review as usual. Coming from an FJ Cruiser I'm looking for something else that easier on fuel and still has some off-road ability. I'm torn between the Bronco Sport Badlands, the Maverick Tremor and one of the Subaru Wilderness models. I personally think the Badlands is overpriced, that's why I'm considering the Tremor and while it has a lot less power, a Crosstrek Wilderness (not out yet) might do the trick for a lot less money the other two. Or might a non Badlands Bronco Sport have enough capability off-road for me? Finally I've read that some testers remark about a lot of vibrations from the 1.5 turbo and very low revs, did you notice it?
I checked out the Crossrek Wilderness, expecting to buy it. However, it cannot be had with navigation! At 6Ft 1inches, headroom was awful with the sunroof (which I wanted). Finally, the dealer wouldn't deal with me on the price, my trade-in or interest rate. When I drove the Big Bend Bronco Sport, I immediately felt at home, and my dealer went out of their way to get me in it. Having had an SRT-4 ACR, I feel I'm qualified to say the 3 cylinder turbo is fine. Good low in torque and good acceleration for this segment, plus average 30mpg mixed driving.
2022 OuterBanks...No regrets.. Wife and I love driving it..
Im quite happy with my 1.5 Sport 26k miles and no issues
Is The Best Video Of A Ford Bronco Sport Heritage In All RUclips! Thanks!

Awesome video thank you !! I did learn something new from this video!

Thanks for the information. You are great!
How about a nighttime headlight test Justin....thanks and great job par usual eh 😊
The 1.5 with one turbo has to be a joke. I had a 1.5 Mini with two turbos that worked great but in a much lighter car with 2 turbos
Our Mini Clubman was a 1.3 L turbo. We now have the Outerbanks 1.5 L. We prefer it over the mini. More power and same fuel mileage.

If you find a Maverick Tremor for sale (without a 9,000 markup) you have pulled off the impossible.
Bronco Sport all the way. A great little truck.

Seems as though the bronco sport is highly overpriced for what you are getting. my opinion the MSRP should be at most, 27000 if that.
Agreed
Yeah, because 27K priced cars still exist...
Thanks for the video!
For fuel economy: Next time, also offer MPG for us lazy Americans! 😎
I have just about the same sport as tested and a average around 34 mpg . not a typo.
