Cleet! It would be a really great community experience if you could include a toy collection and food drive! You can partner with Toys for Tots (a program run by the Marine Corps Reserve for the toys) and local food pantry. Maybe you get a discount if you bring 5 non-expired canned goods or something.
I used to attend to toys for tots charity events for the marines. The only problem with this is that it'd have to be held at a children's hospital, and they'd have to set up an actual toys for tots event at a separate location from the freedom factory. Another factor is that most of the families going to this event, probably experience Christmas every year. While the toys for tots charity events are held more for children who are ill/on bed rest, and less fortunate families who can't afford to have a Christmas or gift their children. Sounds like it would be an awesome idea though.
@@ShredGarage yes but you have to remember he also needs to make his money back for all the entertainment that was purchased for the event, and the from people that would be attending at the event and using the freedom factories resources that cost money like ice, food, drinks, tires, electricity bill, water bill, gas bill, etc. Having a bunch a people use his track and resources for free even just for a day would be a horrible business idea. The amount of people that would go to that would easly drop a $75k bill on cleet at the end of the event, on top of what he spent for the decorations, displays, and shows at the event.

This is a great Idea. Our local racetrack does this and it's really cool. Pro tip: Make sure you tell people to turn off their headlights, daytime running lights only. No one wants to see tail lights the whole way through.
We go to the Bradenton area every Christmas and there is never much going on at the freedom factory or BRP except bracket racing or something. Finally we have an event to go to. Called my wife immediately. So excited!!!!

Actually Bradenton is busier during these months than mid summer. There’s 3 big races over the winter months that victor does that’ll bring in a ton of money.

Cleet - I really hope you've invested in some fixtures that can be permanently installed and used for other shows/purposes throughout the year. Having an outdoor rated lighting rig of LED washes, moving heads, etc. could really pump up the shows you already do with more visual interest!

Im sure this is going to be a big hit. Our local drag strip/circuit track start something like this a few years ago. With maybe 1.5-2 mil people in the surrounding hour. Every year the line up is well over a 1/4 mile to get in. Look forward to seeing the show on the channel.
Our local zoo does this same thing, and it's lined up every night for 2 months. People come from all around. This will be a great thing for your community and surrounding area for sure.

There was something similar in my area when I was a kid and it was amazing. Best childhood memories. Local businesses would sponsor different parts to get their name on a sign. We look every year for something to take our kids to like this.
