@@ECPP Hey bro , I´m from México thinking to buy a truck , what do you suggest for more reliable for money? GMC Sierra SLT 2018 or 2021 Bronco Outer banks ?
I offroad with the Bronco Sport badlands. It works great and has a much better suspension then a ford Focus. It really just appears people want to hate on the Bronco sport yet I just don't know why. It ranked one of the highest in poor weather, it has ridiculous fuel economy and given the right trim level can off-road decently.
I have a 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands ( 2L 4 Cylinder), and it has been great. The engine issues you're talking about are for the 1.5L 3 cylinder version, and this is the first time Im hearing about paint issues.
@@matlee4680 Unfortunately it seems like the 1.5 is in the majority of Sports sold. I'm a little leary hearing about the fuel related recall and the fix. I'd opt for the proven 2.0 for a bit more money.
Funny you mentioned the GM SUV door handles that break. After the third time I returned to the Dealership with the same broken door handle they refused to warranty it because they said “ I used my doors too much”. It’s the last GM I’ve owned.
I had a Pontiac Montana minivan, rear tail lights filled up with water in 6 months. Under warranty dealer said I probably wash it too much, or do I leave it outside during rain? I'll never buy another GM product.
They have their own class of Bull shit cars… beautiful as a first owner during a year or something else… never have one… expensive as hell and I am afraid of them thanks to this guy….
If you're going to review a vehicle, make sure the parts and pieces you review actually reflect the comments you are making. Just one point of note from this video. The Bronco Sport has 2 different engines. The one in your video has the 2.0 L. It has been to date, virtually bulletproof in the sport. The engine you spend so much time denigrating from sources is clearly the 1.5 L from the issues you mention. It may also be on the same unibody as the Escape, but it is not the same. Every manufacturer shares parts among models to keep costs down. You make it sound like it's a defective practice to do so. There is virtually nothing from the Escape in the Bronco Sport other than the unibody, certainly not it's upgraded suspension and electronic drive system. If you expect people to trust your videos as a source of reputable information, then put reputable information out.
Good points, especially on models sharing chasis. The full-size bronco shares the ranger chasis, and almost every manufacturer makes multiple uses of chasis for different models. A different chasis for every model would probably be more prone to issues than finding a reliable base to build off of for different models.
I’ve owned two bronco sports now, a 21 that I put almost 50,000 miles on, and a 23 that now has 15,000. I’ve had zero problems with either one. Maybe you should pick one some other cars that actually are problematic. The bronco sport is great, trustworthy car IMHO.
Well all rear ends on the bronco sports are shit, and ours with the 1.5 went through 4 water pumps and a rear end. It was only 2 years old. Ford wouldnt do anything about it
The bronco has a full frame. The sport is a unibody. If you want a car that looks like an SUV get a sport. If you want an off road car that looks and operates like an off road car get an off road bronco
I own a 2020 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 liter V8 and I use it for towing a boat and now has over 110,000 miles no problems so far. Its a 4X4 and have done some off roading as well, no rattles.
We had a 2021 Bronco Sport and we have a 2022 Bronco Sport with the 3 cylinder we have had one recall for the fuel injector. Does decent in the snow we only had to take it to a dealer for an issue once and it was covered under warranty. The 2022 is a lot better than the 2021 was.
I have the 2023 and love it. Zero issues. No recalls yet but I don’t have an issue with recalls. They fix it. Every brand has recalls even the mighty Toyota
I test drove one for a year and his review of the bronco sport isn’t true. He lost me when he said the only difference between the bronco sport and the escape was the name….. he obviously hasn’t driven one or seen what it is capable of. It’s a great vehicle that is excellent on the road and off the road. I also didn’t understand the minivan comment. It is a little small for todays standards but it caters to on old school style. Fuel economy could be better.
I owned a 2021 BS Big Bend it was one of the very first runs to reach the lots. It did have a few hiccups which is to be expected from the first run vehicles. But it was still a great little SUV. I traded it in for a 2023 BS Badlands and absolutely love it. Great in the snow and a blast offroad. I love the styling and it's a pleasure to drive.
“Ford Exploder”….😂😂😂 I spit my coffee on that one….. Just add “catastrophic engine failure” to that beast, and we have the total package! Love your content! 👍💪
You’re also wrong about the full size bronco “that carries a V6.” I own 2 door Badlands with an inline 4 2.3l ecoboost with 300hp. Just because you don’t understand the added offroading features in a Badlands sport doesn’t mean that they aren’t there and would be useful to someone who knows how to offroad.
I own a 21 BS Badlands aswell and owned other ford's that had the 2.0l ecoboost and they never let me down once. I sold my ST for the Bronco Sport, and I love this vehicle. It blows through everything, just ditch the pirellis and get the optional Falcons or get something bigger because I had a bad time with my pirellis the winter I bought the car. Idk why Ford went with those small all seasons. There grippy on dry pavement but nothing else.
I hear that. Reliability is a big attribute and if they could make all these Euro luxo vehicles with same reliability, then sure, but sometimes a car that minimizes costs and does not break is so great
I owned a 2021 Bronco Sport Big Bend. It had a few quirks which were all covered under warranty. But it was one of the first runs to hit the road, so, some hiccups are expected. It was still a really nice little vehicle. I traded it in for a 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands. It has the 2.0-4 cyl engine. It has no paint problems (the first time I heard of that problem) and it really is a feature-loaded very capable little buggy. Good looks, has plenty of power, it's decent on fuel, and is very comfortable to drive. I love my Bronco Sport, but I would definitely recommend the Badlands over the other models.
Brothers Tahoe Transmission failed catastrophically and he took it into the service department. They gave him hell about doing anything about it, he had mechanical insurance on it luckily and the deductible was about $500 but the sad part is it took 4 weeks to get his vehicle back. Insane!!!
Watched a ton of reviews on the Bronco Sport. It seems to me it is very capable, usable and overall fun in a unique way. You are in the easy minority in dissing this vehicle. I suspect it is similar stories on many other SUV's that are on your list. If you are interested in a Tahoe, for instance, look at other reviews.
The way I see it, due to the pay increases for the plant assembly workers (overpaid general workers at GM, Ford, Dodge), manufactures overpricing the vehicle (especially Dodge), quality control, I think GM, Ford, Dodge will need to drastically reduce their prices or face going bankrupt or ask to be bailed out once again. When China enters the North American market, that will also be the end of the three auto makers. Japanese vehicles will be the high end/reliable vehicles and the Chinese vehicles will be the cheap disposable vehicles. As for electric vehicles, just a pipe dream that these idiot leaders are trying to push, never happen until technology advances drastically and they start building infrastructure. I don't claim to predict the future, just using common sense.
Exactly, and why you should only look to Toyota and Lexus, Honda and Mazda models, if you need a great vehicle (used or new). Just make sure you get a 2.0 liter engine or higher; especially in the Hondas.
Does anyone know how much it costs to have the TIPM replaced on a Jeep Wrangler? I’ve had some issues with the display/climate controls going insane occasionally. I still have the extended warranty. 2018 with 50k miles
A new TIPM will cost you about $400-$500 bucks, plus labor. It is not difficult to replace the unit and there are many videos on RUclips that explains how it is done. However in most cases the unit will not have to be replaced. Worse case is it may need to have the hardwired bits redone. However most issues can be resolved by a simple hard reboot. and/or replacing blown fuses or relays.
More detail on the Bronco Sport. The BS platform is built on an Escape platform however it is more robust than an off-the-shelf Escape. More like an Escape on steroids without getting into specifics. The Fuel Injector issue which Ford addressed with a TSB drain hose fix was shady to say the least. Rear brake noise is another common issue however Ford did issue a recall with new caliper guide pins and boots which seemed to eleviate the noise but not completely. The OEM pads tend to generate a "moaning" noise in high humidity environments when backing up first thing in the morning. Replacing the pads with ceramic pads plus installing the new and improved Guide Pins eliminated the noise in my case. On the plus side, the 1.5 is very easy to modify without getting into the internals or the ECU. Adding a quality CAI that uses the factory air duct plus a quality exhaust system is definently the easiest mod you can do. For conservative drivers like myself those two mods increased my MPG over 25%. That is a conservative number, sometimes more if the wind is in your favor and you stick to the speed limit in Crusie Control. Other than that, well you have to be a Ford fan to appreciate a Bronco Sport. Its not a Toyota, it will require constant maintenance and loving care. In other words; at some point it will be in the dealers shop for something other than a oil change.
I owned a Model Y and live in a condo. I've never encountered any problem supercharging the car so far and Ive owned for almost a year. It takes 25 minutes the most to charge it to 80% Also, the cost to replace the battery is $11k all included, I don't know where do you get the 25k to replace the batteries. Tesla has improved a lot in terms of quality and other stuff
Did an 800 mile all-highway trip in a V6 8-spd Grand Cherokee a few years ago. Nice drive, but 23 mpg was a disappointment. Return trip, same route was in a 2.4 liter 9-spd Compass... it downshifted 1 or 2 gears for every upgrade and got about 27 mpg. I have made the same trip several times in my own Honda Pilot V6 6-spd and averaged 27 mpg. I'll keep the Honda.
I work at a large used car retailer and your comments have really helped me orientate and advise customers on what to buy and what to avoid. I even quote your channel as a true source of information. Thanks man. I really value your content.
You should not sell them anything made by Ford in the past 15 years especially the pick up trucks because they’re the most expensive defects you can buy a pick up truck I need to put $10,000 into it a month after you purchase it go look around on the Internet you’ll find them everywhereFord has the most recalls of any car maker over the last five years. That tells you everything you need to know.
What he said is wrong. I have a bronco sport badlands 2021 , one of the first early model and it is 100% reliable after 2.5 years of ownership. I drive in canada winter, i made 3500 km trip, i drive on highway, country road, i went into extreme heavy rain, the car works like a charm. It is extremely solid. We love it. You should be careful with all the influencers on youtube. I don’t trust them at all. Read the reviews of real owners instead. Nearly all the bronco sport (especially badlands 4 cyl 2.0 L) are very happy with the car. Mine after 2.5 years is like brand new, everything inside is working. Infotainment is fast and reliable connection and gps, heating and a/c are working super well and fast. The engine the transmission the brake everything is perfect. This guy sends wrong informations to favor some brand’s obviously.
I completely agree on the post above. This guy really doesn’t do his homework on vehicles and makes general assumptions on vehicles. He also puts fords in all of his thumbnails so I’d say he probably has a biased against them to begin with. Listening to this guy is like taking information from Reddit. There are many other channels that provide useful information that don’t just walk around lots pointing at vehicles and regurgitating online threads about someone who had issues with their vehicle.
Got my wife the 22 red edition Jeep Compass brand new and it has been 100% reliable for us. My sister has a 23 Explorer and it has been likewise trouble free for them.
Yea, don't believe everything you watch on RUclips for sure... Bought a 2019 CPO Hyundai Kona SEL in 2020 that is one of the best vehicles we've ever owned. We have a Toyota and three Hondas and this Kona is right in there with those as far as reliability and great driving vehicle. I actually prefer it to the Hondas.
@@miller1 I never do. Most people follow that 10k oil change interval which I think is too much. I recommend every 3-5k 3 for conventional and 5 for synthetic.
I have a 2024 Compass Limited. Absolutely no problems with it along with 35mpg on the highway. Not bad for a "dog" as you call it. A good friend of mine owns a Bronco and told me he loves it. I am curious as to what qualifies you to judge these cars without owning one.
I have an 07 JKU. I've never had the 'Death Wobble' occur in my Jeep. I'd never even heard of it until i was a passenger in a newer Jeep. Holly Hell...i thought the front end was going to fall out from under the rig.
The "death wobble" in the first production of the JL wasn't really what most people consider the death wobble to be. It was due to the bracket on the steering stabilizer being improperly welded to the axle case. It was quickly rectified. The traditional "death wobble" is caused by loose bearings, bushings. misalignment or bent bits like the tie rod. They are usually associated with rough usage and improper maintenance and inspections. All in all the sold axles of the Wranglers are far more robust then most independent suspensions.
Got the 2023 Compass Trailhawk, fully loaded with every available option package (convenience, Trailhawk elite, sun and sound and tow group with trailer hitch). Sticker price was $47,215. I purchased for 37k thanks to Stellantis and dealer incentives. It’s the most I’ve ever spent on a car but I love it. It looks sharp and performs well and I hope it is as reliable as my 2012 Compass. (Yes the 2012 is slow, has a CVT and I have some complaints about that model year that have been rectified in the 2023 and newer). One complaint I don’t have is reliability. My 2012 now has 135k miles, engine and transmission are still running well and no major issues.
Why can't North-Am car manufacturers get their shit together and build reliable vehicles ? They have had the same issues for years yet they can't fix them ??!!!
The managers at North American automotive companies are typically business-oriented and often have shorter tenures. In contrast, managers at Japanese automotive companies are usually engineers who have spent decades with the company before being promoted, demonstrating a commitment that often spans 35-40 years.
They could fix any and all of these issues if they wanted to... make it a priority and it would get done. The fact that they don't tells you what their priorities are.
Hi there Mark , Hey can you please give your honest Opinion about KIA Sorentos Hybrid SUV. I'm highly considering buying one really soon. I'd love to know your take. Thank you in advance.
Consumer reports says hybrids are having less problems than gas engines. Best to see the trend on that vehicle but chances are it will be fine as long as you don’t skip maintenance intervals. If you enjoy it then buy it!
Yeah, i call bs on the equinox being on this list. Sure the 1.5l and 6spd is a little underpowered, but the price is actually good for what you get. I myself have a 2019 loaded equinox premier awd 9spd 2.0t and looove it!
We have a 2018 Equinox with 140K miles and it's been great. The only problem was we had to replace a tire pressure sensor, which wasn't much. We are hoping to get to 200k without any real issues before we trade in on a 2025 Equinox, which looks great.
I've been frustrated with our last 2 vehicles that I read extensively, were well reviewed, but didn't deliver. Thought I'd try a new approach this round and watch some video commentaries. Your's was the second I've watched and it was so informative and enjoyable. Who knew? Do you have a review on best headlights for nighttime driving? There is a lot I like about the Subura line but have been disappointed in their headlights in the past. Have even wondered about swapping out post market
I don't like to slam other creators but the reality is you have no idea what you're talking about concerning the Bronco Sport. You're calling out the 4 cylinder engine when it's the 3 cylinder that has the fuel injector problems. And to suggest the Taco as an alternative vehicle? WTF It's a pickup truck, not an SUV. As for off road capability, just google Bronco Off Rodeo and you will see just how capable the BS is. To slam a vehicle without knowing jack shit about it is just irresponsible. The more I think about it, this is obviously a spoof video.
We have a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with 70,000 miles, the vehicle isle has been flawless, nothing but oil changes and regular service. The biggest issue with them is the paint corrosion between the doors and hinges but this is 100% covered for 5 years. Keep an eye out for it and get it covered under warranty.
About 3 months ago, I brought a 2023 Hyundai Kona, 28,000 bucks, all wheel drive and a sun roof! Don’t need a big SUV since I also have a fun size 2006 Chevy Silverado Z71!!!!!
BMWs used to only break your wallet for the initial purchase back when it was new but very reliable and cheap to maintain. 40,000 dollars for a Sedan in 2005 is expensive for a car due to the higher buying power of the US dollar.
Great video I respect your opinion on telling the truth on these vehicles and also appreciate telling the truth about Teslas on RUclips! You're definitely joined the ranks of Scotty K!
Mark, can you please throw in a short but honest-to-goodness review of the 2017-2020 Chevy Trailblazer 2.8liter 4x2 or 4x4 variants. Woulb be awesome to see it happen, tnx!
Nice I drive a 2017 Nissan Sentra SV has 90,000 miles currently good to hear that Nissan vehicles last long usually. Heat about these from Toyota and Honda
A few months late but context is important on the explorer carbon monoxide recall. Former ford tech of 5 years I can tell you that the recall originated with an officer passing out in his cruiser. Ford builds the car yes, but then it goes to a aftermarket company to install all the police equipment, which involves drilling holes on the underbody to run the wiring and other things. Not one of these places thought that the holes they were drilling were allowing the access for the problem. Ford released the recall for the cruisers only at first, but extended it to a full recall for all to keep from customer panic.
The Explorer was redesigned in 2020 not 2022. From Front wheel drive (2010 to 2020) to rear wheel drive. The 2020 did not have a single part in common with the previous model. There were many quality issues with the rollout. The hoods for the previous explorer were made from aluminum to save weight. They tended to peel at the front edge. Same problems with the F150 which is all aluminum. The 2010/2019 Explorer was reduced from the reliable and reasonably powerful 3.5 motor/6 speed trans to a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder/10 speed trans. There have been problems with both the new engine and trans. Ford put a lot of effort into rolling out the new Explorer. It's hard to understand how they could have gotten so many things wrong. Wait at least 2 model years before buying anything new from Ford....
Is this video supposed to be about new vehicles you don't recommend or 5 to 6-year-old vehicles you don't recommend? Because clearly the Tahoe and Explorer are at least 5 to 6 years old that you're showing in the video. The current Explorer doesn't share anything with the one you showed. Plus why would you recommend a Toyota Pickup over a Bronco SUV? If you're going to recommend something over a Bronco you'd recommend another SUV like a RAV4 🙂
I’m in a pickle…have a 2008 Tundra limited crewmax…5.7 280k…been a completely flawless vehicle. Still looks good, drives tight, and just simply still performs the same as when it was new! It hasn’t been my daily driver now for the last couple years…and I think it’s time to part ways. But what I’m struggling with is finding something to replace it…something that will meet or exceed the reliability legacy of my old Tundra. Like…there really isn’t anything !
You know the dodge 3500 has a Garbage Toyota transmission right? The 2014 Corolla CVT is also garbage. You want excellent reliability you must be specific and filter (specific year, model, Trans type).
To be completely honest we own a 2018 Ford Explorer sport and it had a bad sensor and the check engine light came on, the sunroof leaked, and the right roof rail started to come off at the back lol. Ps. The doors don’t don’t sound very solid when you shut them. My 2018 accord has a much more solid door sound and the only issue it had was the air conditioning.
Well, just 2 things. I bought a Wrangler Rubicon back in 2014. It has almost 80,000 miles on it now (not counting the probably 20,000 + miles being pulled behind our motorhome). I have taken this rig places where you would probably poop your pants, as well as highway driving, with not one issue. 2) We bought an Equinox in 2019 with the 2.0. It will turn the tires when you punch it, even when going 20 MPH. It's not under powered and we have had no issues. Guess we're just blessed.
Your Rubi is about the age to have your steering linkage checked. My 2012 just got the ball joints etc. replaced about 8 months ago. They still had life in them but I opted to go ahead and had them changed as I was upgrading some other steering parts anyway. They only had a little play, but I’m keeping my Jeep for a long time so it was a worthwhile replacement. If you’re the handy type, check out bleepin’ jeep for a wheel alignment tool if you’re gonna mess with the steering. It’ll save you a ton on wheel alignments as I’m guessing you actually use your Jeep. 😀
I need adjustable camber bushings because I bent my front axel tube. Easy to replace, but I can't find any on Ebay. The driver's side is 1 degree off and the passenger side is 1 1/2 degree. I watched a You Tube video of a guy doing his. The video was 8 years old. I can find these bushings for just about any other vehicle, but not for my Jeep. And I do my own alignment. If you know where I can find adjustable camber bushings, PLEASE let me know.@@erikgarcia-granados8136
I rented a 2023 Ford Explorer in September 2023 and was so under impressed. It was not driver friendly. The accelerator was very jumpy. Hard to drive it smoothly..

Bro what u say about the jeep ( FCA) 3.6 v6 engine It is one of most reliable engine in their line and also it was awarded as the top 10 best engines in the world... I own a grand cherokee 2016 model 3.6 here and it is around 372000+km running perfectly fine..... And im planning to get a new JGC after a year with the same engine..... Have a better more understanding my brother.... ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@davidperry4013no bruh, just have a search on these engines, they're realli tough and reliable, even my friend is having a ram 1500 with a 3.6.... I wonder Y Tesla Model Y is one best selling car in the world!? I have 2007 Ford Expedition with bubble paint on the hood and trunk. Seeing Ford exploder with paint issues! I’m astonish Ford still have same paint issues 2024!? Please make a video on Ford Raptor!
When Ford's CEO Jim Farley admits they got serious quality control problems that will take years to correct you should know not to buy Ford! Yes you can Google it Jim Farley did say that. I still think Ford is just a little bit better than GM though. If you were smart you would buy Toyota, Honda, and Mazda. High resale value and the best odds of getting a good vehicle. Great video man!
Yeah, but you gotta realize you can’t say that to a Ford fanboy he’ll just look at you and then lie through his teeth and say he said zero problems with his Ford after owning it for only six months😂 one thing you know about Ford people they’re liars anybody who owns a Ford is a liar because he knows he hast to sell that POS so he hast to tell all his friends it’s a good vehicle
Stay away from 2023 grand Cherokee. Bought mine July 1 2023 drove it for 5 weeks been in the shop since. Brake calipers failed, rear coil spring installed wrong. Speakers not screwed into the door panels. Tons of electrical and infotainment issues. Most of the time it was in the shop it was waiting for parts. But still 14+ weeks in the shop. I got lucky and the dealer let me return it at no cost to me and I’m walking away getting a cheap 15k suv cash interest rates are 6-10% for prime here in Canada
Explorer did not have exchaust issues coming into the cabin from the factory. It was the aftermarket that drilled hole in the vechicle floor pan for police mods. These mods caused exhaust to get into the interior Ford did not do theses mods that is why Nhtsa did not do a recall because it was the aftermarket mods that caused it. You should do your research better before claim something bad . Bronco Sport does offroading really well you need to watch TFL. All the reviews rave about its offroad capability and say it designed well. Your review is way off base on the Bronco Sport do your research.
His straight up bias where are the crappy range rovers a d Japanese cars. I own a bronco sport and I put 30 thousand miles in 8 months no problem at all
Was recently (briefly) considering the Bronco Sport, but decided against it. The main attraction for me is I think it looks unique (cool?). However, I read about quite a few issues. One thing that seems minor is, a lot of people complain about sun glare off the windshield. That could get annoying fast. Also, all the mechanical problems, plus, I'm not thrilled with a 1.5L 3 banger. Anyway, thanks for the tips. So...what are the GOOD SUVs? Sounds like there are quite a few bad ones! Oh yeah, another SUPER annoying thing is the auto start/stop at traffic lights. It seems like most new cars have that, but come on. I hate "features" rammed down my throat.
My wife ordered a regular Bronco in 2021, but when I looked at the specs, I questioned her need for twin transfer cases and other off -road features. She “downgraded” her order to a Bronco Sport Outer Banks. It’s a nice car, the trim looks great, the paint looks great, and she gets a lot of great comments about the car. Yeah, there were some “first model year issues”, but her dealer has kept on top of the letters coming out of Ford. My only beef is that I wish the front sears were a little longer. We’ve taken it on some long trips, and it was fine!
Yeah this guy doesnt like fords his tone changes with everyone. The bronco sport is on a modified escape chassis. The sport with the 2.0L aka the focus st engine is very capable. Not sure about the 1.5L 3cyl. The AWD system on this is extremely impressive with what it can do. You can get it with a rear clutch locker to basically have a rear locking diff. This little bronco sport is extremely capable off road for what it is and I have seen it do some very interesting things that stock Tacos rangers etc had issues doing. Again the logic of the AWD and the rear locker function is extremely impressive. HRG TV shows what this little thing can do.
Wranglers are not overpriced if one considers the extra capability and the strength of the components that are required for their intended purpose. Stronger axles (chromoly steel), stronger suspension with more travel, a proper transfer case, lockers front and rear, and sway bar disconnects, and a bullet proof transmission all cost more money. Of course the extra cost is not worth it if the vehicle is to be used solely as a commuter/grocery getter vice a capable off road vehicle.
Mark, you are right on the money about the new Chevy Equinox! I currently own the 2018 Chevy Equinox, and it has the 2.0L and it runs fine and it's almost paid for. It's at 78,000 miles. Chevy wanted me to trade it in for the new Equinox....I told them to KICK ROCKS! That 1.5 Turbo is STRAIGHT GARBAGE!!! This SUV is outdated and underpowered. I will eventually trade in my Equinox for either a Toyota RAV-4 Limited or the Mazda CX-50.
Several vehicles you showed in your video have been wrecked. The peeling on the explorer belt moldings are a example of a body shop doing poor repairs. They blended the door and sprayed clear coat on these moldings. The hood emblem on the jeep had been painted over. Once again a body shop doing poor repairs. Poor body lines are often signs the vehicle has been wrecked. Often times these shops simply do not know how to properly perform these repairs
Yeah Tesla ! Nice Design, But, Crappy Craftsmanship & Very Poor Paint Jobs. Tesla's Quality Control Is Out Of Control. Tesla's California Based Maintenance & Repair Centers Are Swamped With Cars Needing Either Burned Out Or Defective Batteries Replaced. Great Review, Mark 💯
Teslas need to be sent back to where they came from or take them to the dump! Car owners should have the choice of buying gasoline cars or EV'S. Dealers are stuffing EV'S down our throats. Chevy discontinues making Camaros is disgusting and not fair to Chevy buyers
Shame cuz they are soooooo nice to look at they are beautifully designed, but yea ford products are just a no no unless it’s an F-150 cuz i heard their trucks are reliable but every other vehicle? No.
@itsbigdawg3936 there's more F150s in the tow lane than you wanna admit. They actually give away puppies and a lay down driver seat so you can wait inside your F150 on a tow truck
I've owned lots of cars in the past Fords have never let me down but GM have let me stranded lots of times, first new car 1966 Mustang after coming home from tour in Vietnam. Just bought a new Ford Bronco (big one) 2.7 V6 auto, love it.@@cactneir
The 3 cyl. turbo base engine on the Bronco Sport has had issues, but Ford usually makes assembly changes after 1st year or so. The optional 2.0 turbo is much better. And Ford is introducing rebates now on this vehicle.
@@ECPP All the big auto companies are struggling with small displacement 3 and 4 cyl. turbos. Mixing of oil and coolant especially and failed turbos around 60,000 miles. "Death Wobble", 🤔Think of the Shopping Cart front wheel that actively seeks a centerline, excessive CASTER, Wobbling wears out the bushings fighting it. Anything over .5 deg Positive (.25 Left .50 Right) makes you work to DRIVE it, while it rides the groves and curves of the road surface.
I bought my jeep wrangler in 2015. i paid 42k for the x games edition. It has every option minus the Rubicons features. The same wrangler unlimited would be 60k now. Additions i don't have that the new wranglers have are the upgraded infotainment system, back up camera, and the lane monitoring system. Thats not 18 to 20k in equipment. If you have a wrangler yes they all leak. i don't know why they just don't rubberize the floor like the Toyota fj cruiser. I'm at 130k miles on my wrangler. It started leaking coolant last week. The heat/ac fan started making a ticking noise when activated. Crazy part is i collect classic cars and my classic cars being 35 plus years old the AC and heat system still function fine. i have replaced the outer ac components on the classic cars but the in dash parts work fine. Although having a big v8 that only gets 8 miles to a gallon isn't great either....but it is fun.
Jeeps are a lot of fun and I also owned one a bunch of years back I had the 4.0L and a manual and they are fun, but I did find them a little flimsy. Fun versatility though.

Thanks for sharing
The bronco sport is one of the best unibody crossover SUV's on the market. This guy is smoking crack.
@sectorseven07 yup! Sure is! that bronco sport is bad ass for what it's. It's pretty much, common knowledge now!
What trim do you have? I am looking at getting one.
If you're asking me, Big Bend. But the original commenter was Badlands. @@weim_crime.sisters
Thanks! This confirms my choice! Gratefull!!
Wonderful! Thank you so very much. I really appreciate your support.
Funny you mentioned the GM SUV door handles that break. After the third time I returned to the Dealership with the same broken door handle they refused to warranty it because they said “ I used my doors too much”. It’s the last GM I’ve owned.
Oh no, not good
That is a hilarious reason how else are you supposed to get in your car. No more American made cars for me. Toyota all the way
If you'd bought the same model with a sunroof you could have negated that particular problem, well a stepladder would also help. 😆
I had a Pontiac Montana minivan, rear tail lights filled up with water in 6 months. Under warranty dealer said I probably wash it too much, or do I leave it outside during rain? I'll never buy another GM product.
aw yes because thats defenitly not the only u get u gotta shoot a hole in the windshield and get in through that 😂
I'm surprised not to see a Rover on this list.
Well……
Rover rolled over and died.
They have their own class of Bull shit cars… beautiful as a first owner during a year or something else… never have one… expensive as hell and I am afraid of them thanks to this guy….
rover would fill the list on its own.
I guess this wasn't a luxury SUV list but a more affordable one for the general public although Jeep with its pricing is outrageous
Ford wouldnt do anything about it
The Bronco Sport is higher priced because it has AWD standard. My Bronco Sport has been perfect.
Sounds like a win then. Do you enjoy the ride and rest of the vehicle?
It’s an awesome vehicle. Lots of protection and it’s easy for AWD with the extra GOAT mode 4WD options. @@ECPP
The bronco has a full frame. The sport is a unibody. If you want a car that looks like an SUV get a sport. If you want an off road car that looks and operates like an off road car get an off road bronco

Give it time. You will learn it's quality problems. Keep the thing for 100k miles, see what you have.
All makes and model are made to be disposable. It’s the new era of what we live in now. Older models are better.
That’s quite true. Almost like the latest cell phone.
Unless it’s a Ford, Chevy or especially a Dodge product, they were disposable 30 years ago too.
Just stay away from American , European, and Tesla models and you will be just fine…
It's the business model changing, also due to more and more regulations. Who would've thought, huh.

That's like saying your grandpa smoked for 30 years and is still fine. It's called luck. So Good luck
Keep that V8 and bottle it 👍🏻
We had a 2021 Bronco Sport and we have a 2022 Bronco Sport with the 3 cylinder we have had one recall for the fuel injector. Does decent in the snow we only had to take it to a dealer for an issue once and it was covered under warranty. The 2022 is a lot better than the 2021 was.
Love mine
The Bronco Sport is actually a really reliable, comfortable daily driver with great gas mileage and safety. Ive had very few problems driving one.

I own a Bronco sport badlands and this is my favorite vehicle! Strong and the most capable in this category and a lot of technology!
Great channel. The older I get the more I just want a reliable car. Toyota and Lexus are the only manufacturers I trust for reliably and resale value.
I hear that. Reliability is a big attribute and if they could make all these Euro luxo vehicles with same reliability, then sure, but sometimes a car that minimizes costs and does not break is so great
Ya but they're ugly asf usually...... I prefer honda acura and newer mazda. Who ditched ford.
Same here. My 2015 Lexus es350 is the best car I’ve ever owned.
you forget Honda and Mazda
@chadhaire1711 only newer mazda. Ford mazda was junk. Because ford can't build a transmission. Kinda why they're failing the inspection test
Insane!!!
Gotta challenge that
Watched a ton of reviews on the Bronco Sport.

Then there's the overpaid CEOs. 🤑

Try to get the warranty to cover it
A new TIPM will cost you about $400-$500 bucks, plus labor.
@@RickZackExploreOffroad Thank you. I appreciate the reply
Great choice 👌 👍

You should not sell them anything made by Ford in the past 15 years especially the pick up trucks because they’re the most expensive defects you can buy a pick up truck I need to put $10,000 into it a month after you purchase it go look around on the Internet you’ll find them everywhereFord has the most recalls of any car maker over the last five years.

What is you thinkng about honda pilot 2024 whit its new motor....?
Why can't North-Am car manufacturers get their shit together and build reliable vehicles ? They have had the same issues for years yet they can't fix them ??!!!
Because there is a lot of money to be made on fixing those cars.
The managers at North American automotive companies are typically business-oriented and often have shorter tenures. In contrast, managers at Japanese automotive companies are usually engineers who have spent decades with the company before being promoted, demonstrating a commitment that often spans 35-40 years.
It's because loyal to the brand uninformed people keeps buying them .
They could fix any and all of these issues if they wanted to... make it a priority and it would get done. The fact that they don't tells you what their priorities are.
Because they want you to buy every year

Love my 2020 Explorer ST 🤷♂

Because clearly the Tahoe and Explorer are at least 5 to 6 years old that you're showing in the video. The current Explorer doesn't share anything with the one you showed.
Only issue we ever had with our Explorer was rattling in the doors. Sold it and got a Bronco. Much more solid.
And I already replaced all the steering linkage.@@erikgarcia-granados8136
I rented a 2023 Ford Explorer in September 2023 and was so under impressed. It was not driver friendly. The accelerator was very jumpy. Hard to drive it smoothly..
Yea, not sure why the tuning isn’t better. It can be adjusted. The same motor and transmission in other Ford handle much better. Weird.
2016 Yukon, 2nd transmission blew. $9000 to repair
Yikes, that hurts
ouch!!
Remanufactured transmission would have been cheaper unless it's warranty work 🤑
Is there a car that u do suggest for under 30k
Yes many. future video
Your analysis is spot on.
Thanks very much for watching
@@ECPP I love your narration and visual effects. I retired from a Canadian company based in the St Jacobs - Waterloo area . Love the creativity of my former Canadian colleagues.
I have a 2019 Jeep Compass I had to replace the push to start on it😢
Ouch that’s not good
Bro what u say about the jeep ( FCA) 3.6 v6 engine
It is one of most reliable engine in their line and also it was awarded as the top 10 best engines in the world...
I own a grand cherokee 2016 model 3.6 here and it is around 372000+km running perfectly fine.....
Nd i have faced some minor glitches in infotainment, oil cooler leak and other minor things.....As u know no cars are perfect.... And im planning to get a new JGC after a year with the same engine.....
Have a better more understanding my brother.... ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ve known that 3.6L Pentastar engines are at least close to the reliability to the VQ35DE.
@@davidperry4013no bruh, just have a search on these engines, they're realli tough and reliable, even my friend is having a ram 1500 with a 3.6.... I don't know the miles in it but it should be more than 200kmiles because he always rides in it and does off roading, towing etc..... His truck is just a workhouse for him, 💪
Curious on the affordable sub compact class.. Trax, envista, cross, kicks
We can certainly gonthere
Like your camera usage, angle, plus some good funny stuff worked in the shot on site. Your information is important now more than ever. Great work!
The Explorers have aluminium hoods, so that's not rust, but Ford does have paint adhesion issues with aluminium panels.
Yes they do
Explorers are one of the safest cars on the road. Ford for some reason ships their vehicles unwrapped and you can get rust pitting from the rail.
THanks Mark! I didn't know that you could predict the future.
Haha, fair. It is based on the trends and history and my experiences
Track records can predict the future not with 100 percent accuracy
I don't understand. You're talking about 2024 models, but you're showing an earlier model, I'm confused. Why?
Just sharing the info
Dude is trashing popular cars for clicks. It makes perfect sense. lol
Great channel, subbed!
Welcome aboard.
I love my 23 Bronco Sport 2.5 L. No problems so far. Great gas milage and fun to drive.
Thank you for the great info!
Glad it was helpful!
I have a 2000 ford exloer sport edition, 295000 miles and still runs great
When Ford's CEO Jim Farley admits they got serious quality control problems that will take years to correct you should know not to buy Ford! Yes you can Google it Jim Farley did say that. I still think Ford is just a little bit better than GM though. If you were smart you would buy Toyota, Honda, and Mazda. High resale value and the best odds of getting a good vehicle. Great video man!
Farley should resign.
Don't forget Lexus and Acura.
@mrsuoernova Lexus is Toyota owned.
Acura is Honda owned. Nobody forgot except you
Yeah, but you gotta realize you can’t say that to a Ford fanboy he’ll just look at you and then lie through his teeth and say he said zero problems with his Ford after owning it for only six months😂 one thing you know about Ford people they’re liars anybody who owns a Ford is a liar because he knows he hast to sell that POS so he hast to tell all his friends it’s a good vehicle
A V6 Ford Bronco in Norway is priced at 170000$ easily if not more with extra kit and Features
I’m am SHOCKED you didn’t put the Land Rover / Range Rover models
well
How does the 2024 Seqouia stand up to these?
Ah sir, you questioned the need for off road features. Please turn in your man card immediately. 😂. Glad you’re enjoying your sport.
Cheers
Mark, you are right on the money about the new Chevy Equinox! I currently own the 2018 Chevy Equinox, and it has the 2.0L and it runs fine and it's almost paid for. It's at 78,000 miles. Chevy wanted me to trade it in for the new Equinox....I told them to KICK ROCKS! That 1.5 Turbo is STRAIGHT GARBAGE!!! This SUV is outdated and underpowered. I will eventually trade in my Equinox for either a Toyota RAV-4 Limited or the Mazda CX-50.
Snag that CX50!
I’d take a 2.5L NA 4 cylinder over a 1.5 turbo anyday. But a V6 especially a twin turbo V6 that is both powerful and reliable is how I want it.
Unfortunately, Honda did the same to their Accords and CRVs. 1.5L turbo engines with cvts. Junk. Avoid.
@@overundersidewaysdown . Rust buckets for those of us up north but I did consider getting one recently.
But our Lord and Savior Elon Musk (PBHN) insists that he knows more about manufacturing than anyone else in the world! I iz konfuzed.😂
@brian felon Musk
@donnelson don't forget if a Tesla Burns it will release very toxic fumes called hydrofluoric acid 🤮⚰️😵🔥🤑
Teslas need to be sent back to where they came from or take them to the dump! Car owners should have the choice of buying gasoline cars or EV'S. Dealers are stuffing EV'S down our throats. Chevy discontinues making Camaros is disgusting and not fair to Chevy buyers
I dont like your review on the Bronco sport I just had my first oil change its not for off roading but it have a comfy ride and safty.
It's Black Friday time, maybe we'll see Stellantis come back to Earth.
Cheers
Does the new Bronco sport have a 4 cylinder engine ?
Only the badlands.
I’ve seen a Ford Bronco sport broken down getting towed already 🤦🏾
Haha, many more to come
Shame cuz they are soooooo nice to look at they are beautifully designed, but yea ford products are just a no no unless it’s an F-150 cuz i heard their trucks are reliable but every other vehicle?
@@cactneir lmfao yikes
The 3 cyl. turbo base engine on the Bronco Sport has had issues, but Ford usually makes assembly changes after 1st year or so. The optional 2.0 turbo is much better. And Ford is introducing rebates now on this vehicle.
Thanks, and yes Ford seems to struggle with reliability especially on many smaller engines
@@ECPP All the big auto companies are struggling with small displacement 3 and 4 cyl. turbos. Mixing of oil and coolant especially and failed turbos around 60,000 miles. CRV especially with 2918-19 model years. And previous generation Escapes. Now Honda has problems with faulty fuel pumps and Toyota RAV 4 with fuel tanks that won't fill properly. The list goes on and on.
@@michaelsheedyturbos are finicky. Look how many issues the Mini has had? You have to change that oil regularly or those blowers go out easy. Just the nature of things .
So basically you are saying every car has reliability issue. L have owed some of those cars and i still own some of them and they never give me problems. the reliability of each car depends on how you treat them
Nah, some are junk from the get-go
Agree !
Haha amazing analogy.
This guy, Scotty and the old Australian guy are the best critics in RUclips…
Don't forget about the car care nut. He's a Toyota/Lexus specialist and very good too
@@johnwhalen3191 And, Scotty Kilmer. LOL
@randy Scotty Kilmer is a dull blade.
@@ECPP I think you got the jeep that built the reputation that the newer crappie jeeps stand on.
