Could you do a video or a video serie of the creation of a project from preproduction to end with all your thoughts during the process? 😄 Also, I have a Canon mark IV and I really struggle to be happy with what I film. I don’t know if it’s me or the camera as it’s a dslr camera and not a mirrorless as we see everywhere now. Do you have any though about it? It could really help me because I am quite lost. I don’t know if I shouldn’t switch my camera even if I love it for photography. Thank you
A Canon Mark IV is great for filmmaking. Perhaps, you are putting too much pressure on yourself for not using a mirrorless like most people on RUclips now. In my region, lotssss of people use DSLRs and people (both video/photographers and clients as well) tend to look down on those of us with smaller cameras aka mirrorless. So it's really not about the camera but about you and what you can do.
@@AimaOj. thank you for your answer, I really appreciate it. I feel like maybe it’s part of the learning process to feel this way too. Having lots of doubt. I wish sometimes I could learn more about my camera from others perceptive as well as more about editing which has such a big impact on the finished project but everyone seems to be already so good that it’s hard sometimes to not compare to others and to find a got learning path or somewhere to learn a lot about editing 😆
@@IAlexandraAndre I understand what you mean. When I did my first shoot at a concert, I thought the pictures were barely good enough. I sent them to a friend of mine who's a pro at commercial filmmaking and he was quite impressed. I told him they weren't that good but he broke down the composition of the photo and made me see why it was GOOD. He added that I feel that way because I've consumed so many great content from RUclips so I'm judging myself by pro standards when I'm just new to the whole thing. So one thing I think would help you too is; don't be hard on yourself. Go out and create content you imagine with what you have. Get friends who are into similar niche as you. We all need a support system.
"setting *too high of an expectation"? or am i just reading that wrong?
