I cant bind my receiver. I put it into bind mode with both the red and green lights shown. Then when I press bind on my radio Nothing happens and the red light on the receiver does not start blinking it just stays solid. Does anyone know how to solve this please.
You probably have to flash it with a firmware on the frsky website I’m having the same problem and I’m about to try this but if you found the solution please please please let me know
@@angelmosqueda9470I found the solution a while ago so I'm trying to remember but I think I had to flash new firmware onto the receiver/radio. There was an a American version and an EU version and from what I remember I don't think it matters which one you use along as you have the same on both. My receiver had the EU version and my radio had the US version. Once I made them the same it fixed the issue . Hope this helps.

I'm kinda pissed this came out now because it was a pain in my ass on the first two builds I did. I had random motors spinning different directions. I didn't know BLHeli was a completely different program at the time. Figured it all out on my own though, and I've been flying now a few times! This is a great series for newbs

is it possible to control a custom-built drone with a Mamba stack ECF with something like a phone or a laptop? Not necessarily as a replacement but as a temporary control device.
Question for a guy who would like to get into the hobby. Should I start at digital and step over the analog systems (the trend is clear with DJI front running the scene) or should I invest into cheap analog system and install a GoPro for footage? My goal is to go into the videography side of the hobby (not racing).
I know this was 11 months ago, but I need help with binding. I have xm+ and x9 lite too just like you. I get to the part where my receiver has both green and red solid LED but my taranis won't bind. It makes a noise when I click Bnd, but the receiver doesn't change at all. Do you know how to fix this?

Hey man, this video inspired me to get my setup going. ALmost got it done now but having a few issues. My AUX 12 is extremley volatile but I have no switch on the controller set for that function. If you could help me out with that I would appreciate it
so i’m having a bit of an issue i have used all the same parts for my build except a foxeer razer nano cam. my quad flys i have flown it line of sight , setup went fine. my only issue is i cannot get my fat shark goggles and vtx to work i have tried everything. setup in beta flight shows that my vtx is connected and talking to my flight controller i have the proper vtx smart audio 2.0 table copied. uart3 is off but tbs smart audio is connected but i go through all the channels i get nothing , one channel tho is black then if i turn my head the picture goes from static to black to static same thing if i wiggle the vtx. could my cam not be working ? any other advice please help i’ve tried everything.
wait, how did you connect the controller to Beta Flight? is it bluetooth? and when I went to look up beta flight that screen did not pop up so how did you get there?
My reciever and my transmitter won't bind. I set everything up as you did, but it wont bind, can you help me?

Start the binding process on the transmitter before powering up the receiver in bind mode (that's what the documentation says). With FrSky stuff your firmware might also be incompatible with each other and you need to update it.
i just build my first drone, in the beginning everything went well and no smoke. after a few day's i turned it on and i got smoke and one of my esc's got burned, can anyone help me out and explain??
i just built my first quad and everything went good without any smoking parts/resolder/rewire or any other errors :D Camera works, motors spin, inputs work. Im so FUCKING happy !!! The only thing that doesnt work now is the weather :D Now im sitting in my room staring at my new baby :D SUMMER WHERE R U AT????????
iv a 4in1 esc and holybro kakute f7. i can only arm and get power to the fc and receiver when i connect my usb to the laptop. soon as i disconnect iv got nothing, no lights or power to the fc, and motors dont arm, this is with the lipo connected aswell. Not sure if it was the esc, but once the fc gets 5v from the usb, everything works, any help would be much appreciated. Thank you
Does your motor beep when connected to battery ? If not then you have a Bad ESC. If they beep but fc doesn't power ON then it's not receiving 5V from ESC, check if vbat/vcc and ground from ESC is connected to the fc. If you have kakute stack then the cable connecting the fc and ESC should be bad, holybro usually gives two set of cables and if all above fails then try manually soldering each pad from ESC to fc
@@mindprobe3587 yes, the motors beep, and all 4 spin..then only 3 spin, and it wont work unless iv got the lipo plugged in, along with the usb lead. Iv given up on it now and ordered the racerstar 4in1 esc. If i get any further problems im honestly never going near a 4in1 ever. I started building with single esc,s 2 years ago, and never had a single problem.
@@k1ortia you are not providing power to your fc. There's a B+ pad on your fc which need to be connected directly to the battery's positive terminal. You should add in a short clip about esc calibration in beta flight. A lot of people have trouble with motor by not calibrating them. Great video sir.
