I got ya. This is what the 7 needs. Put Ultra cameras on this thing. Give it an internal S-Pen. And finally... remove the crease. Do these 3 things and they win.
Not possible to have a foldable screen without some sort of crease. It wouldn’t fold without breaking otherwise. They may be able to minimise it but I doubt they will ever eradicate it completely.
Kids !! This is pure marketing. Samsung could have made all these changes you want since the second generation of Fold, the Fold2: wider outside display, Ultra's 108 mp or 200 mp camera, pen, larger battery, faster charge. But they didn't want to do them and they don't want to do them even now because there is no real competition over this segment. All the competitive foldable devices are only for China and they do not benefit from seven years of update like Samsung. The competition from China practically does not exist in the western market where sales are the highest especially in Europe and America. So Samsung is not in a hurry anywhere anymore.
Problem with famous tech RUclipsrs is that you guys have like 100 top notch phones to choose from daily, you don't really live with device for couple of weeks to give it an honest review, yes the front screen is narrower than others but who other than you guys put all the major folds side to side and compare them? S24U camera is of course better but it's also better than any other fold out there I switched, switched back, jumped to to the next new thing can't be done by others, if I have all the folds + all other flagships I will definitely find it hard to stick to one of them and would definitely find hundreds of small things that make this phone better than the other Wanna to review a phone? Use it exclusively for a month I'm not a fanboy, I'm writing this from an iPhone but lately the RUclips tech community became a not trustworthy place to make a purchase decision, it's now all about views and milking the same thing until the next thing releases.
And yes the last video with (I switched) how many people you think made a decision to switch because you influenced their decision? Can they switch back now after they most likely traded in their phones? No but you can because the other phone is in the drawer Next I switched to pixel fold 2, next why I switched back, then switch to iPhone 16 pro max then switch to pro because the max is too big, next milking the iPhone release to oblivion, switch back and forth 10 times a week! Yes it's a business and yes you have to milk the product release but please try to remember that people can view you as a reference. Have a nice one
Dude , all of Super Safs points are absolutely valid , if you are happy to put up with the many downsides to the galaxy fold that’s your prerogative , for many of us though , it does not cut the mustard , and as Super SAF said , samsung could easily offer a second premium model with all the bells and whistles pleasing almost everyone .
I possess the Zfold 6 model and I love it. My primary requirement is for a larger battery, ideally 2mm wider, a spen slot, and the ability to utilize it on the front screen.
Agree, this guy is too busy to have fun. For a lazy bum like me who splurged his bonus on a z fold 6 a couple of weeks back this thing is insanely awesome. The joy of speaking to family on this wide of a screen anywhere anytime is crazy while the thing weighs almost the same as an s24 ultra... the front screen is really nice and thats the point you do use it for the bare minimum while you open the tab for the rest. There are so many customizable keyboards. Plus the feel of a crease is like that of a beautiful glossly magazine. Sometimes i have to feel it so that I dont fold the phone the wrong way. For normal people like you and me if you want a constant reliable companion for the next 4 years (or more) go for it... cameras are good enough... some shots better than s24 ultra.
i honestly dont understand the obsession with cameras. i rarely use them and when i do the quality is just fine and i would notice minimal difference versus, say, an S24 ultra or an iphone. i for one wish they would make them smaller so you have less of a "camera bump" making it awkward to set down/hold
@@killerkon141if you rarely use the cameras then obviously you don't understand or get it and how can you see a difference not using them but for me I do notice the difference of the poor quality of the z fold 6 cameras that they have used for 3 damn years in a row.! And the same damn phone for 3 years in a row so yes they do need to update the cameras
Samsung didn't even bother to fix all of these issues even after so many generations. Other foldables will take over the market soon if Samsung is still so ignorance about them. Honor and OnePlus has so much better foldable hardware!
I actually prefer the narrow screen, lets me type with one hand. Battery is also only an issue for extrem use cases in my opinion, never had any issues so far.
Greeat❤❤❤ advice at the end. I still have the Galaxy fold 3, and the reason why I have not my business phone S21 and Galaxy fold 3 is because of the very reasons you stated. I can't justify upgrading because those features are not there. My main reason for choosing the Samsung eco system is because of the picture quality and the creativity with the fold line. I'm waiting for something new to spark my attention with Samsung! Saaaammmie 4 liiiiife lol!
I absolutely agree with all of this as that would make things a whole lot easier but one! I do like the narrow display on the Fold 6 and this is not my primary device but it is my work device and my business device and I daily drive the s22 ultra which I use for everything else! I love the narrow display for typing slack messages and open the cover display for hard core work related tasks and business tasks. Maybe I'll grow to enjoy if it becomes wider since the internal display would be wider too so more real estate for me to work with but as is, this is my first Fold and I'm absolutely enjoying their design choices! If it is my primary device I would have preferred everything you said though!
Really happy to see reviewers speaking negatively about this. I'm a huge fan who had the Fold 4 but it had too many deal breakers so went to the S24 Ultra. These really minor and tiny upgrades are a bit of a joke, like not implementing the S Pen in the fold is just not acceptable
Do you think Samsung refuses to integrate the S pen? Or maybe its more difficult than you think. If you want the S pen in the phone like it is in the Ultra, you will have either a thicker phone, or a smaller S pen. You cant have both. Samsung isnt Apple, theyre not holding back that "feature", they just havent figured out a good solution yet. My number one request from Samsung is to get rid of TM Roh.
i bought this phone and while im happy enough i would have liked a bigger front screen, battery, better camera, less crease etc. appreciate you and the review
the narrow display was always one of my favourite things when I had my fold 2. I have small hands. Durability and cost are the only reasons why I went away from foldables. But absolutely agree that it should have the best camera
I have the Z Fold 6, and here's my recommendation: Don't buy the Z Fold 6 and wait for the next generation. If you're desperate for a Samsung foldable, then buy a second-hand Z Fold 4 or Z Fold 5 for half the outrageous price of the Z Fold 6, which are practically the same phone as this 6th generation and now have the same Android and One UI version and already received 80% of all the truly useful A.I. options, because most of them are dumb and dispensable.
Why is everyone complaining about the price? Just wait a couple of moments. The price drop is insane for these. After a few months you get these foldables for 1300€ which isn't much more than an Ultra, and you basically get two phones for that price. Or perhaps it's just that way in Germany.
You are right on. I held onto my note ultra for two years hoping for a new note for nothing to come. I bought into the z fold 4 as I could get an s pen only for the next steps series to feature a premium option with the s pen included. While I was frustrated with this I came to love the fold. And I had that fold for two years until it's battery life became so bad that I needed to upgrade. While I am thrilled with the fold 6 compared to the 4 in all areas. The front display width is still my biggest disappointment. You are spot on that I would gladly pay more for a wider front display and an on board s spen. Spot on sir. As a loyal note fan for many years I feel like samsung no longer listens to us fans. We want these things on the premium device but we've been forced to decide between the premium device or the flagship. As a loyal note user for several years I feel unheard. I feel forced to pick now. Why can't the fold have an on board s pen. I'm two weeks in on the fold 6 and I really want that s pen because I use it so much but with how slim this phone is compared to the fold 4 I don't want a case but I have to get a bulky case to get the s pen. This phone is big enough to carry one. Your spot on my friend. I think samsung is taking advantage of the note loyalist and making them pick. Why not just offer a premium option. I just bought the ultra watch. I'd buy the ultra fold just as I bought the ultra note. Hear us and make it happen. We may not be as large of a base as iPhone users but us note users are just as hard-core of loyalist. Give us something to be excited about
Agreed that it needs flag ship level cameras, bigger battery and may b wide cover display. However, i cannot rely on chinese manufacturers for warranty and OS in the North America.
I switched from the S21Ultra to the Samsung Z Fold 6, I love it. The Narrowness - I have had it for a month and it only hit the ground 2 times, I would drop the S21 several times a day. I attribute the S21 multiple drops to a much wider phone, so I Hail the narrowness. I have never gone past 50% on the battery and charge it on the way home from work back to 100%. Having a fast charger and cable jus pumps in the juice. I love the multitasking with the Z Fold, it has changed my working habits with the Fold Open!!! Love it!!!
got the zf6 on release day. loving the phone, came from ios. battery life is ok now since i changed it to light performance. i really did not notice any change in performance when im on this mode. by and large, i am happy with my purchase!
I agree 1000%. I have annual buyer of the early first note, all s ultra's with pen, along with the fold 2 to 6 now. But I have to say my fold 6 is going back tomorrow and I just ordered a new one plus open. I have the one plus pen and it too works on the inner and outer screens like the honor. Just wish they would sell in the states for all to access and use. Samsung please make an ultra fold and stop leaking every year and not giving the power users what they need. We will buy it, I guarantee that!
I hate the artificial upgrade implementation that Samsung is doing for every Fold to pad profits. We know competitors are already doing better in specs and hardware. They got me good when the ZF5 came out but I refuse to trade in until they make an Ultra like phone for similar price of the 6. Glad to see Saf calling Samsung out.
Thank you so much for this video! Just got the z fold 6 and will be returning it. I would most definitely get and keep the z fold 7 ultra!!! I hope they make this happen!
Yes , yes , yes , spot on Super SAF ! I fully agree on your assessment , the narrow screen on its own is an instant deal breaker for many of us with big hands and fingers when typing ! I might add for those of with reservations about the longevity of the bendable displays who want to use the front screen for the most part and just save the tablet bendy screen part for those occasions we want to use it , the wider form factor would instantly make the device more attractive ! Of course , as Super SAF has rightly stated having an S pen on board with front screen function would be another big plus for a device that is already hugely expensive . A bigger wider and even tad thicker and heavier device with bigger battery , and the flagship cameras would be cool , not the half assed ones , and that would likely see those people that want the best of the best …….. like we used to have back in the good old galaxy note days . Samsung may very well pick up some of the old long time galaxy and Galaxy note users that jumped ship to Apple when Samsung changed direction , and became no longer the maker of the do everything be everything phones that the old Galaxy notes where . I’d like to see a bloody fast charger in the dam box too ! As it stands , I would not even consider a Galaxy fold 2,3,4,5, 6, I won’t mince words ……. Sorry I think they crap.
What I think would be awesome is if the device folded along the shorter edge of the main display. That way, the inner display would be the exact same size and the outer display would be pretty much the same size (actually smaller) and aspect ratio as the base S24, which woould be an absolute win in my book.
The S-Pen not being embedded is the main reason I am not even tempted to switch to the foldables. I am super reliant on my S-Pen on the S series and was a Note faithful so, going back to no pen or having to add an accessory to store the pen is a no-go for me.
Personally I think i am quite happy with the current size of the main screen. It make it so much easier to hold even when folded with one hand, and less bulky. I can put in my pocket comfortably. IF those fold phones keep making wider main display, these phone will eventually become bulkier. Not sure how you able to put in the pocket. I do agree they need those built in S pen with bluetooth like the 24 ultra, and larger battery size.
I went from the ultra 22 to the fold 6. Fold 6 is so nice. Got no problems with it. don't need a wider front display. It's good as it is. Oh and the spen does work on all screens. I have the spen and all working on the front and main screen.
You can buy a cheap Chinese case w a stand and s pen too. I personally just carry a bag around for my pen, headphones and money etc. So who cares. Pen hasa little case too from samsung
I found myself ditching the Fold 5 specifically due to the narrow main display, and most people I know tend to think the same. Releasing a fold 6 with a wider display alone, would win back a lot of people. And the embedded s pen would be a cherry on top.
I wanna go android, Thanks for helping me decide what I am getting. s24 ultra for me. I do wanna try the z flip though. Great channel. Thanks for all your hard work and content.
I don't get why everyone's complaining about the narrow screen. I think it's what makes it unique. It's super easy to use with one hand, and when I want a bigger screen, I just unfold it and it becomes a tablet.
Because they don't like it..... if you hated chololate, would you force yourself to eat it. They want the ultra, because not everyone wants the same thing. If it's good for you, then keep the slim.
It's great until your maim screen cracks down the fold and Samsung refuses to honor any warranty. Then it becomes your only screen until you can afford a new one. There is a class action lawsuit about this in the US.
I agree with the outer display. It can use a increase thats worth it. Spen can fit but samsung wants to overcharge. Weve seen phones with less creases to basically none snd its very abnoying to see it on these phones.
Literally. I honestly have both the 6 and 5 in my hands, and although I like the 6, I do feel that the 5 is perfectly built. It is the right size. Yes, I do wish the front main cover could have been bigger. The 6 is now tougher to open, and it just seems less smooth in the operating experience. I think the 6 is better for men. Bigger hands. I like the 5 better. The 5 in pink or black. The 5 is a phone that can open into a small tablet. The 6 is a tablet that can fold into a phone.
I miss my fold 5 so much. The most comfortable phone to hold, i rarely dropped the phone because i can get a firm grio on it. I never dropped it while open. Best of both worlds.
Great video. I have listened to your points and found myself reassured regarding my purchase choice. The limitations you mention are minor to me because of my usage profile. I will buy the Fold 6 when my new contract starts on 22nd October, but I hope Samsung listens to you and includes the improvements you suggest. I agree that it would give more flexibility to the customers with usage that differs from mine and allow me to change the way I work in the future should that become necessary. So, great video, just subscribed.
The only thing stopping me from getting a fold is the dimensions and the crease based on my use. I could see myself using the cover display in public and the main in private so the cover display is arguably just as important as the main. The crease definitely isn't a deal breaker, but it would be a bonus to remove it
I have a fold 6 I thought the display would be too narrow but I'm getting along wonderfully. Now I have insurance for the Fold6 and with a 7-year software update I can use it for a long time and wait and see what happens in the next 5 years, but what I can say I can only get a fold. 😊
I think the intention of the folding phone is to get people to use less of the cover display as compared to the inner display. I think that is what Samsung is trying to achieve.
I switched from s23u to the fold 6, I actually find the front display perfect because of how easy it is to use one handed, I set my dpi to 520 which makes all the UI element basically the same as a regular phone just way tinier and I haven't had issues with typing. But 2 things I miss are 45W charging and ultra zoom camera. And they need to somehow make the inner screen less reflective like the s24u coz its quite annoying to use outdoor
One UI is great, but there are so many great foldables now that have global variants that are just better in so many areas. My Honor Magic V2 global is a joy to use
I had the Z Fold 6 for a week. 90% of the time I had to use the inner display because the cover display was just too narrow for me. Might not be a problem for people with small hands but for me I returned and now my fingers are crossed the new Pixel Fold will be a better experience.
@@AkbadaGr8 drop a link then bro. Because I’m pretty sure I was on Amazon, Samsung, and Caseify all day, when I had it, searching for a case that had Spen holder and a stand. There were like 2!! And they were super bulky.
I agree with a lot of what you said, but I don't know anyone that uses it as you described. Everybody I know, including myself, uses the big screen most of the time.
It's not a common take, but I think the cover display width is perfect. Its only slightly smaller than my iPhone 15 Pro. All the other points are correct
It was really embarrassing pulling my Fold6 for a selfie of us 5 people, and selfie was the worst, it felt like it was taken from VGA camera and crease gives such a cheap feeling.I struggled with magcase charging heating up the phone and it goes on a dark mode even when it's a super cool weather. I regret not buying s24 Ultra! I love Samsung, but they need to get things right. Give S-Pen with the future fold and fix the cameras and the crease, plus the width of the folded display. Very realistic view @SuperSaf, love it!
Price is the first thing most people look at. I told my dad I was interested in upgrading to this phone and he said no way almost 2k for a phone are you crazy heck no! I also agree with the other recommendations for the Fold 7.
I loved my Fold4 but left it because of hinge issues. It seems like it has improved since then and I'm glad to see the dust resistance added finally. But it also feels like Samsung has stayed stagnant with their improvements to the Fold line. My list is basically the same as yours, but to come back to the Fold (as much as I really miss it), I need the following changes: Wider outer display, s-pen holder built in to the phone, Ultra-level cameras - including 10x zoom (insane they're still using the same cameras as the Fold4 basically), larger battery, and less tilt when placed flat on a table.
Because there is no competition samsung has AI the Chinese competition does not and since apple is waiting for samsung to make a creaseless patent therea no competition samsung can charge 3k and ypu idiots will still buy it why Because better UI better quality premium and since that samsung can experiment making ultra versions coming next year 8inch folding screen 6.5inch external screen
Samsung needs that Z Fold 7 Ultra with things talked about in the video. I was going to buy the Z Fold 6 but it was too narrow and lacked the improvements I was looking for.
I've had my z fold 4 since it was launched and I not only love it but it became essential for my work (I'm an architect). Use to have a Note 10+ before. I actually think the width of the cover screen on the z fold 6 is perfect, because I actually feel my fold 4 is more confortable in the hand and pocket then my old Note 10+. So hear me out, I think it should be a bit taller! That way it would be way better at consuming media and would give us a bigger battery. But my main ask would be the in built s pen for sure.
I don’t know why people keep complaining about the price. Samsung offers really good trade-in deals for older phones. They gave me $1100 towards my older fold 4, and I came out of pocket about $600 after other discounts they offered on top. For that, I will always upgrade my phones directly from Samsung, as long as they offer such good tradings. I personally don’t have any issues with the fold 6 screen size. It's a fantastic phone for what it is. I agree with you that they can offer an Ultra variant, which I would also pay for, with better cameras and embedded s-pen for both external and internal screens. Buy your phones directly from Samsung and save a lot, my advice.
Guys there’s no s-pen in the slot or no crease or camera upgrade until 2026. Why 2026 you ask the iPhone flip will drop and Samsung is going to need a counter. It’s business honestly you shouldn’t upgrade if your gen 5, gen 4 and under upgrade. Google needs to focus and force others app makers to optimize their apps. 2026 is going to be rough if they don’t get to it. Google controls the software not Samsung.
Yea but it dont make any sense, why wait for the competition when u can increase sells buy adding all of that right now, lets be real, people will buy anything with an apple logo regardless, no point of waiting for apple to release a product to give people what they want, but i dont understand why samsung is be complacent, just go all out and u wouldnt have to sell a new foldable every year.
I like the current width of the cover display because it allows me to truly use the phone one handed when closed. If I wanted a wider phone, I'd go buy one from another brand. I honestly wonder how many people would stop buying the Fold if it gets too wide. The next Fold does need a bigger battery and better cameras though. Especially for what Samsung is asking for.
First fold I tried was the 3 which I only had for about a week before I returned it for the 22 ultra. Like the 6 a lot more, seems like a lot of improvements over the 3.
I have had the Fold 3, 4 and now the 6. I'm loving the refinement coming from the 4. Funny the weight is not dramatically less yet when I held them side by side the 4 seems like a tank. I was a Note/Ultra guy from the early days. Now when I hold those phones they are ginormous in hand. I have become so used to how compact and easy one handed operation is with the Fold even when unfolded. I think a larger Ultra up-sized version should definitely be brought to market to appeal to more users. The S series has multiple sizes we should have the same for the Fold series. The hardware coming from others shows that Samsung has work to do. They are falling behind in the market they created. I read their CEO is furious that the new Ultra watch and buds pro look like Apple designs. Come on Samsung. You were the leader in design. Copying Apples painfully slow evolution and designs is just so disappointing.
Samsung will always give the best tech in the S series. The fold and flip are lifestyle products. Good lock changes everything which the competition doesn't have.
I had a S20 FE and was considering Flip 5 or S23 Ultra, eventually i got the S24 Ultra on pre-order for a pretty good deal (R$5.400) Really wanted the fold but i cant trust that inner screen enough with a price target so high (R$15.000 at full price basically a car and R$12.000 at best) Its kinda annoying that the only real option for a foldable is the flip, fold is for enthusiasts
Making it wider, s pen compatible front display and having a bigger battery would do wonders, the problem is, are the consumers willing to spend over 2K for it?
Regarding the price of the fold in the US is because all the other great fold are in Europe so samsung only competitors in US is google pixel fold and motorola. In the US, we dont get charging brick or phone case for a fold, but somehow in Europe you get a nice presentation. I know this because flossy carter review them all and its a shame that One Plus latest gadget didnt include charging brick now in the US
I’m getting the fold 6 before all of these complaints takes the only foldable with a narrow display off the market. I like smaller phones, and the narrow outer display basically is giving me the small phone I crave but large phone when needed.
I'm worried about the foldable screen..because my fold4 screen broke just after 12months and problem was the screen protector was bubbling up .. how is this one compared to it???
yup for that price point it has to have an s pen, ultra camera, and a different tech on the foldable. and that hideous under the screen camera inside shouldn't belong there. 1900 dollars and you can get an s24 ultra and a tab s9 Fe.
If the competition all have a larger outer screen, why does the Z need an outer sceeen? Also, I make errors on my internal screen as well. I do want a bigger battery and I hope they can make it ligjter.
1000% agree, I use the phone 60/40 to the cover display. The current narrow display is very annoying (only 3mm wider than my fold 4 isn't enough, tried it in the store and the Honor magic v2 felt way better) Canceled my fold 6 preorder and went with the Magic V3 instead which has a 6 mm wider screen than the fold 6 (ordered from an online store because I can't wait for the global release around end of sep).
@@jd2161 Yes, the software is better but it's not with sacrificing so much for. Honor's software has been improving a lot recently so it's not as huge of a difference as you think.
Used the fold in store and the aspect ratio of the inner tablet is strange to me. Felt weird watching videos on it in both landscape and portrait. Felt very premium tho. Missing a lot of stuff for the price, a bad purchase imo. The flip was pretty good tho
I own a Fold 6. Im okay with the slim screen, got used to it. I'd appreciate better battery and best in class cameras, cover screen camera should be improved too.
The issue is when you use the main screen too much it leads to poor battery life. Honestly, foldables aren't meant to be used open, it's more for videos and gaming. Other than that it's quite uncomfortable to use for daily tasks.
@@BruceLeeRoy26that's why I carry a monster of portable a 28kmAh battery. And even without it I get a pretty good battery life just spamming the main display tho that might be user bias situation
Yup thats what samsung intended it for, but its a mix between people loving the narrow screen vs people wanting a bigger screen so they will be forced to make 2 different models.
Fold5 vs Fold6 I have been very satisfied with the front display. They should leave it alone. Never been an issue for me as with big hands. Far more comfortable than the Fold5. The only improvement they need to make it the cameras. As a person coming from the s24u to the Fold6
Why would you want to not use the inner display too often if you bought a foldable phone? Why would you buy it in the first place? I'd also like a wider outer display, but to me, that's just for quick responses, notifications, calls, etc. Then, for everything else, there's the gorgeous inner display.
I think samsung customizes each line of phones for a specific groups of people so your advices it's right but we have to ba aware about this thing, but in general I think samsung takes folds features very very slowly to the next step and and I am with you that samsung must to change battery capacity and make the front screen in nomal size and to include s pen with it's foldables
I disagree about the cover display. As an S24U I do wish sometimes the display was harrower so it would be better to use one-handed. Agree with everything else tho!
I don't agree with making the cover display wider, if you do that, when you open the phone, it ends up being more square which is stupid. If you want to use the front screen for everything, get a regular phone. I don't want a square tablet when opened
I got ya. This is what the 7 needs. Put Ultra cameras on this thing. Give it an internal S-Pen. And finally... remove the crease. Do these 3 things and they win.
Yup! Glad you agree
Not possible to have a foldable screen without some sort of crease. It wouldn’t fold without breaking otherwise. They may be able to minimise it but I doubt they will ever eradicate it completely.
The crease is disgusting. It’s ugly, distracting and feels terrible.
Battery and cameras were the reasons I returned the fold 6. I used to have the fold 4 and it would not last me the whole day comfortably
So Samsung is not in a hurry anywhere anymore.

i honestly dont understand the obsession with cameras. i rarely use them and when i do the quality is just fine and i would notice minimal difference versus, say, an S24 ultra or an iphone. i for one wish they would make them smaller so you have less of a "camera bump" making it awkward to set down/hold
@@killerkon141 you use the camera rarely, 90% of the users do use the camera a lot. So yeah, a better camera is sure a plus
@@tullo556490% is gross over exaggeration. more like 35 to 40%
@@killerkon141if you rarely use the cameras then obviously you don't understand or get it and how can you see a difference not using them but for me I do notice the difference of the poor quality of the z fold 6 cameras that they have used for 3 damn years in a row.!
Agreed.
Yes so true
Absolutely. They won't be dominating the market soon enough 😷
no, those chinese phones would be banned soon latet, samsung knows that so no motive to improve
I cant agree more. I have a fold 3 and it not even worth to upgrade. Hopefully the pixel fold 2 rumor are true because i may upgrade to that phone
I actually prefer the narrow screen, lets me type with one hand. Battery is also only an issue for extrem use cases in my opinion, never had any issues so far.
Phone is already fast enough I have energy saver on for daily shit unless gaming then I turn it off and into performance mode
My z fold 4 inside screen broke after the screen protector started coming up. I only had it like a year. I still have a working s9+
My number 1 issue with the phone is it's narrow front screen.
Samsung really needs to do better. No point in buying this and supporting their complacent behavior.
It's a good phone, but the competition is doing better
@@SuperSaf Oneplus open 2 gonna be the best foldable

@@jd2161 chinese hardware, "best hardware" doesnt mean a thing when it degrades a lot faster

So there are now 2 creators speaking truth and showing mirror to Samsung. Well done, Saf. I really appreciate your take on this one.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it
@@SuperSaf yes watching it. Halfway through it😊
Whats the other one?
I disagree. I like how wide the phone is. Any wider it gonna ruin the one hand experience
@@jackyyo1998 I agree completely! The cover display width is perfect.
The camera point is so true! The most expensive phone should have the best camera. No compromises
Bro. This is the best fold video yet. Everything I have been asking for is in this video. Thank you
I absolutely agree with all of this as that would make things a whole lot easier but one!
I wish all phone reviews were like this. You go over practical things that would annoy the hell out of me, and also mention the positives.
Yes!!!!!!!!! Definitely would purchase that 7 Ultra!! Every launch I pray for those features ❤
They copy each other. They gotta be negative, this way they appear to be super techy and superior.
i bought this phone and while im happy enough i would have liked a bigger front screen, battery, better camera, less crease etc. appreciate you and the review
the narrow display was always one of my favourite things when I had my fold 2.
Is the z fold 5 cover screen and z fold 6 that much different and how does each play 16.9 video in the cover display does it have. A lot of black bars
Why is everyone complaining about the price? Just wait a couple of moments. The price drop is insane for these. After a few months you get these foldables for 1300€ which isn't much more than an Ultra, and you basically get two phones for that price. Or perhaps it's just that way in Germany.
Awesome
Big love Saf. Always a pleasure to see when you upload a video. Kindest regards, Richard U.K
Anywhere
Well said, that is the point of a foldable. They were thinking backward and not forward.
I'm a power user and it currently pretty great. Perfect one hand device when closed and good 2 hand device when opened
What in the world are you talking about? The S Pen has clearly been shown on multiple reviews that the S Pen does not work on the outer display.
Hoping for the 7 to be the size of 2 Ultras w/ embedded S Pen. The size would allow for a bigger battery as well.
I found myself ditching the Fold 5 specifically due to the narrow main display, and most people I know tend to think the same.
Releasing a fold 6 with a wider display alone, would win back a lot of people.
And the embedded s pen would be a cherry on top.
No Saf, a higher priced ultra model for those features is absurd when you can get an honor or oneplus for cheaper than this model.
you’re literally my comfort person i love you kislux !
I wanna go android, Thanks for helping me decide what I am getting. s24 ultra for me. I do wanna try the z flip though. Great channel. Thanks for all your hard work and content.
Thanks for the comment
Happy To See You Again !!! I love you ❤️🙏🏻
Did you finally get it? How's it if you did also shed some light on the cameras
I appreciate the narrower cover display - it really helps me reach across the display
Also the cases… why is it so difficult to find a case that has a stand and a spen holder 😂
I have small hands, didn't like that cover display at all
Dam. I can't even get the ring because my fingers are too big.
i don't believe you. the case selections for the z fold phones are pretty vast
I use the bigger screen I keep it unfolded until I need to fold it up it's a tablet I use it more as a tablet when sitting down
It's not a common take, but I think the cover display width is perfect.
Less tilt is nit picking. The rest of your list is the same as he stated..
Slimmer body? I'd had that to my list
The outer display is a perfect width. You can type one handed no problems, larger displays are too wide for comfortable usage
Great video. I pretty much agree with everything he said here. 😊
@@swervess23hmm
i love it that is arrow display. that's actually the main reason i have the Samsung fold.!
Understandable, which is why I think they need 2 versions
I've asked ee about 2 other phones and they don't do them. So where do u go for them?
I like the current width of the cover display because it allows me to truly use the phone one handed when closed. If I wanted a wider phone, I'd go buy one from another brand.
I honestly wonder how many people would stop buying the Fold if it gets too wide.
The next Fold does need a bigger battery and better cameras though. Especially for what Samsung is asking for.
Can you stack all the foldables vertically so we can see how they compare?
I agree with all 5 points. The screen is by far the biggest issue though. I sent my fold 6 back after a few days with it. Far to narrow.
I think making the screen wider will solve most the issues. More space for bigger battery, embedded s pen etc
@SuperSaf I agree. Such a shame. I was really looking forward to the fold 6. After skipping the fold 5.
First fold I tried was the 3 which I only had for about a week before I returned it for the 22 ultra. Like the 6 a lot more, seems like a lot of improvements over the 3.
Just ordered the Fold 6 for the thinner display assuming the Fold 7 will be wider. Trade in S22 Ultra & BF deals brought it down to a cool $700
I had a S20 FE and was considering Flip 5 or S23 Ultra, eventually i got the S24 Ultra on pre-order for a pretty good deal (R$5.400)
Really wanted the fold but i cant trust that inner screen enough with a price target so high (R$15.000 at full price basically a car and R$12.000 at best)
Its kinda annoying that the only real option for a foldable is the flip, fold is for enthusiasts
I think Samsung & do a Sony? 21:9 aspect ratio would be perfect.
Yes, that is exactly what the 7 needs. Samsung you need to listening to this Guy.
I know this because flossy carter review them all and its a shame that One Plus latest gadget didnt include charging brick now in the US
Finally someone is talking about the price point about this fold 6.
If Samsung makes all the changes you've mentioned, I'll buy it.
Same!
I’m getting the fold 6 before all of these complaints takes the only foldable with a narrow display off the market. I like smaller phones, and the narrow outer display basically is giving me the small phone I crave but large phone when needed.
It’s conformed that 45 watt max USB-C charging! Huge upgrade over my 14PM.
A lot of great points. If Samsung made those improvements, it could establish itself as the premium phone maker.
1900 dollars and you can get an s24 ultra and a tab s9 Fe.
you are spot on the single display is still very narrow. Huawei is the best when it comes to this.
If the competition all have a larger outer screen, why does the Z need an outer sceeen? Also, I make errors on my internal screen as well.
I do want a bigger battery and I hope they can make it ligjter.
I couldn't agree more with your assessment. 👍🏻
1000% agree, I use the phone 60/40 to the cover display. The current narrow display is very annoying (only 3mm wider than my fold 4 isn't enough, tried it in the store and the Honor magic v2 felt way better)
Canceled my fold 6 preorder and went with the Magic V3 instead which has a 6 mm wider screen than the fold 6 (ordered from an online store because I can't wait for the global release around end of sep).
Samsung software is much better though
@@jd2161 Yes, the software is better but it's not with sacrificing so much for. Honor's software has been improving a lot recently so it's not as huge of a difference as you think.
Hope they make the next one balls to the wall with top everything. It doesn't need to be very thin or narrow, its a foldable tablet.
Used the fold in store and the aspect ratio of the inner tablet is strange to me. Felt weird watching videos on it in both landscape and portrait. Felt very premium tho. Missing a lot of stuff for the price, a bad purchase imo. The flip was pretty good tho
That what happens when you make the device wider
I am up for it if they bring us a real Ultra fold with real changes and improvements 🎉🎉🎉
I definitely agree with the cameras though...for the price they're charging they absolutely need to have flagship cameras
I own a Fold 6. Im okay with the slim screen, got used to it. I'd appreciate better battery and best in class cameras, cover screen camera should be improved too.
The front display can be wider yes, but they want you to use the inner display, when closed the phone is very ergonomical
The issue is when you use the main screen too much it leads to poor battery life. Honestly, foldables aren't meant to be used open, it's more for videos and gaming. Other than that it's quite uncomfortable to use for daily tasks.
@@BruceLeeRoy26 for you baby, I been gaming on my fold daily and it's very comfortable using both hands and never had any issues
I completely agree, it is for these reasons that I still go with the z fold 4. Moreover, in the case they look almost the same)))
I disagree about the cover display.
It's rather simple, if a competition does it better, vote your decision with your money. Very simple.
