@AlexGTech I do wish the S Pen was integrated like on the S24 Ultra, but I think they don't want to do it yet since that would eliminate most sales for Ultra. I don't miss it that much since I have the one that goes with the case, and when it comes to the anti-reflective screen, I'm okay; I can live without it.

I went to the store and ran a full-screen video on each phone, and when I saw the black dot on the front camera on the S 24 ultra's screen, I chose the Z Fold 6. The camera is in the same place, but the color adapts to what's displayed on the screen.
His videos always look so cinematic and very good. This year, I bought two 512GB S24 Ultras and upgraded my Watch 4 Classic to a Watch 7 Ultra 😊 after watching his videos 🎉
7:58 This is one of the reasons why I've stuck with with Samsung year after year. As a tech lover , it's always nice to stumble across a new/ exciting feature. I do like to keep on eye on Apples offering but i just know the effective UI and feature downgrade will bug me.
Great review. Love the positive vibe, even when talking about negative aspects of a device. My first Samsung was a S2, then the Notes came out and I switched with the Note 3, followed by the Note 4, Note 8 and Note 10. Last year after keeping my trusty Note 10 for 4 years, I decided it was time to swap to the Z Fold 5. To me the fold series is a more natural successor to the Note series. Yes the Uktra S series has the same form factor as the Notes did, but the folds just take that productivity the Notes introduce to the next level, without ending up too bulky. After 1 year of using my fold 5, I can honestly say the only issue I have had was finding a case that did everything I needed (protect the phone, completely, including the hinge, no built in screen protector (I always use a separate one), has esay storage for the pen, and can use massage devices without having to trust the stickon ring things - not exactly a small list. The phone itself, now I found such a case, has worked faultlessly withe good battery life. (Currently getting a day out of it in spite of it playing a RUclips video on repeat most of the working day whilst I burn in my wireless head phones). The camera, at least on paper is mot as good as my wife's S23U, but to be honest they are more than good enough for me and sometimes do a better job than hers, in spite of the lower resolution, only the zoom let's it down.

I love this z fold 6 but i just need to get my battery life up to par. I have 7 days left in my buyers remorse. Im debating on the s24 ultra, but who knows. This is beautiful.

Careful with that magsafe ring. It disrupts the screen magnetism and hand writing experience with the stylus. Took me 2 screen protectors to realize this (not the screen protectors) was the problem
I love the s24 ultra, but in the last couple of days i returned to the dark side. Its something about iphone 15 pro max reliability of software and camera that keeps me returning to it, and emojis are consistent on every app :))
haha the emojis do drive me nuts sometimes! But I get your point on cameras. Such an important aspect these days. I think the S23U were absolute the best in the market at the time, with the bigger sensor now, it seems to have thrown off a few issues

And the weight is also just right. Lighter than before. Battery life is better than the Z Fold5. I'm having a fiber case on it wich is only 0.5 mm of thickness. Better and thinner. Sending my S24 Ultra back to Samsung today to complete my trade in and won't miss it at all. I really enjoy using my ZFold6 and it works better out in direct sunlight. For some reason my S24 Ultra had a serious problem overheating so it would only stay bright for less than 10 minutes. When it comes to photos, it's a personal preference and but I prefer the ZFold6 over the S24 Ultra. I couldn't get whatever combination of settings right to produce good photos with the Ultra. My ZFold6 is just point and shoot. I use my phone mostly for work tasks and in that role the Fold can't be beat. I had the ZFold5 and I struggled with the outer display being too small. I know they made a miniscule change when creating the ZFold6 but for some reason it has made it much easier to use when it comes to texting.
I am so close to doing the same and going full into the S24 Utlra. I am going away for a week and will try to do just that and see if I miss it. The S-Pen built in is probably the one thing that I am more worried about. And totally afree on that cover display, very usable now!
That cover screen is not for some us , im 6 ft 6 with large hands that cover screen is a recipe for hard time , so its like theyre targeting a specific market
Yeah, I am a fan but I understand a lot of people prefer wider cover displays. I think that's probably why Samsung are said to be working on something like that themselves

Great video. Agreed on the cover display, if for nothing else so that there are multiple formats on the market, not just one. These same viewers and reviewers would soon be complaining that there's no more "innovation" in the foldable market if all the foldables settled on identical form factors as happened with slab phones.
Agreed, I wouldn't be surprised if Samsung tried to plug that gap in their foldables with yet another product but I'd be equally quite happy if they continue to make the Fold just a bit lighter and a bit thinner every release.

Having both...the s24 ultra which I'm trading in for the fold 6 is obviously better for pic taking but for everything else I'll much rather have the fold 6. I've been comparing the 2 and I love the fact that I can unfold and have a much better experience streaming movies and having multiple apps opened on one window since I play fantasy sports and having multiple windows opened on one screen is so key for me. Battery life is not bad at all, it last me the whole day easily...with the s24 ultra I've been having battery drain issues since the last 2 updates so the battery life is averaging out between the two devices. If you have a s24 ultra and really don't care much in having a lights out camera then dont even think about it and get the fold 6 cause it's so freaking good...I also plan on getting the iPhone 16 Pro Max so I can get the better camera quality since I always have 2 phones with me all the time.
Gotta say, I am finding difficult to find reasons to keep the S24U myself as the main device. I do like the S-Pen built-in and the display, but for what I do, the Fold is just more complete.Plus... my S24U battery really is quite bad. I am stressing daily about it
@AlexGTech yes for real I was thinking about the spen hidden inside the phone but I bought the samsung case with spen and it's still easy to get to just on the back of the case lol
I gave up my fold 5 and went with the s24 ultra due to the weight of the fold. Its a great device for sitting at home but a bit too heavy and unweildy when out and about.
I was to trade my s24 ultra for the Fold 6 but worried about that crease on the phone. What do you all think about the crease? Is it a significant problem or distraction?
First of let me tell you how much I enjoy your down to earth tech approach and overall kindness. I’ve been using a fold 4 for nearly two years now and while I love the device and the screen estate I’m having major durability problems with it. On my first device the inner display just straight up died after a couple of months and my second device is yet again on it’s way to Samsung to get its peeling screen protector replaced. I’m due for an upgrade in the next month but I’m just not sure if I want another folding device. Don’t get me wrong when it’s working it’s awesome but durability is not a small point here. And the fold 6 got even more expensive.
Greetings, I've written to many content creators, and no one answers. Regarding the Z Fold 6, when you take about 20 photos, the screen brightness, even in manual mode, starts to decrease significantly, making it appear dark when you're outdoors. Do you experience the same issue?
I'm a note/ultra user from the very first generation. Folds are not $1k better than the ultras, not yet. you can build both a complete and solid Samsung ecosystem with the current price of the fold and get way more value. I continue to consider folds novelty items.
@AlexGTech they direct me to assurion, unfortunately. For the work I do I love this phone, but I don't think I can invest in another if the ribbon cable goes out. I use this for gig-work so I open and close it frequently do to having Doordash, Uber, and Spark open together. If they are using a better ribbon cable for the fold 6, I'll probably get the fold 7 when it comes out. Otherwise, I'm going back to the Galaxy S Ultra.
What I'm liking most is the proportion. It's easier to use the Z Fold than the S22 with one hand. It's very similar to a smaller old smartphone and an iPhone 13 mini.
Great point about one-handed use. It's actually helping me not get distracted. Because when I open the Fold, it's so tempting to just fire up a game or RUclips!
I have the z fold 6 and had for 2 weeks the s24 Ultra....Ultra is way to big in one hand and when yoj wanna watch something its still a small screen. The Fold 6 is now a real round product and with the wider outer screen its nearly perfekt. Maybe one mm wider and its fine. I relay like the fom factor of the phone. Its a real nice small device but i manage 90% on the outer screen. now i watch YT and use the inner one. Loudspeakers are way much louder on the fold 6. for me the fold wins clearly. The ultra is just way to chunky for me. The Cameras...yeah maybe a bit better on the ultra. Zooming to the moon only benefits up to 30x zoom. after that its not better. The Fold is still doing great pictures. One big issue that both have is heating up while charging...they get crazy hot.
Careful when charging you fold if the battery gets too hot. I had the fold 3 for 1yr and in the summer the battery would overheat while charging in the car. I work from my car most of the day so the battery expanded a little and messed up the folding mechanism where the screen would open flat anymore. It was noticeable and would bother me. Samsung declined warranty replacement.
They are so different and i have and love them both for different things. Fold for day to day use and s24 ultra mostly for weekends when im traveling/visiting out and about. Now if they could make an S24 ultra that folds...then i could get by with one phone

Agreed, I think it's still quite an acquired taste (I certainly love it!) but I agree, especially on the battery and camera hardware, not so much on the cover screen - that I am quite happy with
i have fold 3 .. but inner screen broken .. now wan fols 6 but still trauma for inner screen broken .. and now my fold 3 hav3 replace battery and battery drain to much.. i dont know what problem ..not guinune battery ...just oem
I would love to love it and I'm deciding between s24u and Z6. Luckily my shitty carrier (boost mobile) resolved my dilemma by not supporting e-sim on Z6. Too much of a hassle for me to visit their local store to get physical sim.
I understand you have to sacrifice some stuff to power a monster like the Fold but for nearly two-THOUSAND dollars; the camera should NOT be as bad as they are

There's just not enough improvements in the zfold 6 to make it worth moving from the zfold 5! All I really want is better cameras. So until they start putting much better cameras on the zfold I will be sticking with the 5 and upgrading my S ultra only
The external screen of the Fold 6 is wider than that of the iPhones Mini, and narrower than that of the iPhone 11 Pro by 3mm, and for some people, is actually perfect (not for me), except that, the internal screen of a Fold is not 100% safe and you are not immune to unpleasant surprises. The advantage of Folds like the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, Honor Magic V3, OnePlus Open, Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, is that in case of accidents with the internal screen, you have a completely and normally usable smartphone. For me, the perfect Galaxy Fold would be a Fold with the form factor of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, with 2cm more in height (to have a rectangular internal screen and not a square one), with 5000-5500mAh battery 🔋capacity and better camera sensor. For the moment, my Galaxy S Ultra + Tab S standard combo is perfect for me. 🙏🏽
@@AlexGTech In fact, I think Samsung should keep the format of the Fold 6, and release a Fold "Ultra" in the format I described above, it will allow to have better photo sensors, a bigger battery 🔋, but above all "maybe" an integrated Spen.
Traded in my S22 ULTRA for the Fold 6 and i have no regrets. The only things i hate is the inner screen camera. The other cameras are great too. I see people talking about it having a small battery but i can say i got to work for 12 hrs and all night im connected with Bluetooth to listen music and watch/listening podcast, also play games on my breaks and i manage to come home with average +30%. Now finally for the outer display, its ok the way it is. I have bug hands but its way easier to use that screen that the s22U screen.
zfold6 is about the same spec as S24 ultra but slightly better except camera department. But camera isn't bad at all, it's still very decent for a phone, if not 200 million pixel resolution. However, when it comes to form factor, zfold just kills it. Narrow enough to use front panel single-handily and to put into your smaller pocket. And think its design is frankly a bit better , being minimal and all.

Yes, such a complete device! Honestly the 13PM is a beast too, I sort of regret selling it as I did not like the 14PM. Definitely tricky to change ecosystems though
@@AlexGTech it is a beast but all my Apple products are old. 10.5 inch iPad Pro Apple Watch 4 and nothing else with RCS coming well besides Apple Card and FaceTime nothing else hold me back. So either I upgrade phone and tablet or get one device that does both. (For almost the same price)
@@AlexGTech hey Alex. Definitely the simplicity of just looking at a great screen right away, but also with that there’s the nice feeling of something not so wide and more compact. I carry an iPhone 15P also so that quick appreciation is there instead of the ultra compared to the iPhone. The Samsung I use mostly for business purposes and I find myself using it for just that the more as the front display is mainly used for quick actions and replies. I actually am enjoying it and still venturing. Can’t wait to create a power point on the fold.

I have to agree the S24u has a pathetic battery life and i am not convinced the screen display is all that. I just prefer my Sony display, battery and picture quality hands down over the S24u. In terns of the ZF6 I just do not like the bulk if it but i will see what the future brings on foldables as I still feel this is either early days or just a fad. Great video btw 😊👍
I am with you on that battery, and agreed - foldables are still an acquired taste. They are getting slimmer and more capable though, I think 2 more generations till it's viable for everyone
I recently upgraded my Fold4 to Fold6. In most aspects user experience feels identical. Everything feels more refined with Fold6 though. First thing to mention is much more battery life on Fold6. It gives me full day with more then average use including gaming. It was never like this with Fold4. I had to charge Fold4 midday and most the times just after work. Fold6 feels lighter and thinner and much more premium. Inner display felt like plastic on Fold4 and now it feels like real glass on Fold6. I was actually very happy with performance of Fold4 as well and I wouldn't upgrade if Fold4 hinge didn't fail on me twice and only reason for me to upgrade was hinge issues on Fold4. Fold6 is still too new so I hope Fold6 is more durable. I upgraded my wife's Fold4 to an S24 Ultra and it's different type of beast with superior camera, much better battery life and faster charge. With S24 ultra you always have a giant acreen available to you without the need to unfold the device first. But S24 Ultra also feels heavier and bulkier in pocket and less comfortable holding. She also had hinge issues with Fold4. That's the only reason I wanted to change her phone. I believe S24 Ultra is much more durable and I believe we will upgrade her phone not because it's failed but we feel it got old in future. So if concern is durability S24 ultra is the clear way to go. S24 Ultra is almost half price of Fold6 here in Turkey. So even it fails and Samsung doesn't honor warranty then you can buy another one and 2 x S24 ultra will cost you almost same price as 1 x Fold6. You can also buy an s24 ultra and a decent tablet or laptop for same price as Fold6. So if you care to get the most with your buck S24 ultra is still the way to go. You get everything better at S24 Ultra for half price except the folding phone experience and multitasking. I was too bored of regular phones with not much innovations and that's why I switched to foldables at first place. I love my Fold6 and I hope it doesn't fail on me as quick as Fold4.
I switched from fold 5 to the 24 ultra. I prefer the better battery life. I rarely opened it up. The thickness in my back pocket was annoying. Most importantly, it was a matter of if, but when will the middle screen get damaged.
Hello Alex, I'm hesitating between the Z Fold 6 and the new Pixel 9 Pro Fold. I'm a loooong time iPhone user. Camera (photo) performance is pretty important to me. What I usually don't like about Samsung is their bloatware, I prefer clean a clean OS. I do prefer the symmetrical look of the Samsung but it's not the most important factor to me. Which one would you recommend?
In a world where we already have foldables with 67w ++ fast charging, triple 50 mp camera, 5000 MHa++ battery and better inner display, samsumg dont even UP the battery to 5000MHa. Or upgrade that old setup cameras (3 years now), dont even make a 45w fast charge/dont even upgrade that UDC. All of this for that high price ? Fold 6 is literally the most waste of money u can get right now on a phone.
I'm still using the ZF5 and happy with it for my day to day stuff. However, the camera is appaling, especially at night. This is not a hardware issue. it's the software. 3 y/o pixels have inferior hardware and produce better pictures. The ZF6 has the same cameras FFS!! Stop the gimmicks Samsung and copy Googles camera software.
I think that's fair, especially when it comes to video. The S24U CAN generate better results, but there's a bit of 'fiddling' in manual settings to get those results. Which is not great for the majority of people
@@AlexGTechyep thats why when i got s24 ultra i returned it. Because i gotta do lot of tweaking in the settings to get a good photo while iphone is simple as it is. No wonder why usa 95% of people own iphones. Pure simplicity

Careful with that magsafe ring. It disrupts the screen magnetism and hand writing experience with the stylus. Took me 2 screen protectors to realize this (not the screen protectors) was the problem

I love the s24 ultra, but in the last couple of days i returned to the dark side.
Its something about iphone 15 pro max reliability of software and camera that keeps me returning to it, and emojis are consistent on every app :))
haha the emojis do drive me nuts sometimes! But I get your point on cameras. Such an important aspect these days. I think the S23U were absolute the best in the market at the time, with the bigger sensor now, it seems to have thrown off a few issues

Thanks Alex for this nice video! I also having the Z Fold6 now, and I'm really happy with it! It's much lighter and easier to hold. The cover screen is just perfect now, wide enough. And the weight is also just right. Lighter than before. Battery life is better than the Z Fold5. I'm having a fiber case on it wich is only 0.5 mm of thickness. Better and thinner. Sending my S24 Ultra back to Samsung today to complete my trade in and won't miss it at all. I really enjoy using my ZFold6 and it works better out in direct sunlight. For some reason my S24 Ultra had a serious problem overheating so it would only stay bright for less than 10 minutes. When it comes to photos, it's a personal preference and but I prefer the ZFold6 over the S24 Ultra. I couldn't get whatever combination of settings right to produce good photos with the Ultra. My ZFold6 is just point and shoot. I use my phone mostly for work tasks and in that role the Fold can't be beat. I had the ZFold5 and I struggled with the outer display being too small. I know they made a miniscule change when creating the ZFold6 but for some reason it has made it much easier to use when it comes to texting.
I am so close to doing the same and going full into the S24 Utlra. I am going away for a week and will try to do just that and see if I miss it. The S-Pen built in is probably the one thing that I am more worried about. And totally afree on that cover display, very usable now!

That cover screen is not for some us , im 6 ft 6 with large hands that cover screen is a recipe for hard time , so its like theyre targeting a specific market
Yeah, I am a fan but I understand a lot of people prefer wider cover displays. I think that's probably why Samsung are said to be working on something like that themselves

Great video. Agreed on the cover display, if for nothing else so that there are multiple formats on the market, not just one. These same viewers and reviewers would soon be complaining that there's no more "innovation" in the foldable market if all the foldables settled on identical form factors as happened with slab phones.
Agreed, I wouldn't be surprised if Samsung tried to plug that gap in their foldables with yet another product but I'd be equally quite happy if they continue to make the Fold just a bit lighter and a bit thinner every release.

Having both...the s24 ultra which I'm trading in for the fold 6 is obviously better for pic taking but for everything else I'll much rather have the fold 6. I've been comparing the 2 and I love the fact that I can unfold and have a much better experience streaming movies and having multiple apps opened on one window since I play fantasy sports and having multiple windows opened on one screen is so key for me. Battery life is not bad at all, it last me the whole day easily...with the s24 ultra I've been having battery drain issues since the last 2 updates so the battery life is averaging out between the two devices. If you have a s24 ultra and really don't care much in having a lights out camera then dont even think about it and get the fold 6 cause it's so freaking good...I also plan on getting the iPhone 16 Pro Max so I can get the better camera quality since I always have 2 phones with me all the time.
Gotta say, I am finding difficult to find reasons to keep the S24U myself as the main device. I do like the S-Pen built-in and the display, but for what I do, the Fold is just more complete.Plus... my S24U battery really is quite bad. I am stressing daily about it
@AlexGTech yes for real I was thinking about the spen hidden inside the phone but I bought the samsung case with spen and it's still easy to get to just on the back of the case lol
I gave up my fold 5 and went with the s24 ultra due to the weight of the fold. Its a great device for sitting at home but a bit too heavy and unweildy when out and about.

First of let me tell you how much I enjoy your down to earth tech approach and overall kindness. I’ve been using a fold 4 for nearly two years now and while I love the device and the screen estate I’m having major durability problems with it. On my first device the inner display just straight up died after a couple of months and my second device is yet again on it’s way to Samsung to get its peeling screen protector replaced. I’m due for an upgrade in the next month but I’m just not sure if I want another folding device. Don’t get me wrong when it’s working it’s awesome but durability is not a small point here. And the fold 6 got even more expensive.
Even if they don’t want to put the Ultra cameras on the Fold they could do a triple 50 mp on it. Or 50, 24, 24

Greetings, I've written to many content creators, and no one answers. Regarding the Z Fold 6, when you take about 20 photos, the screen brightness, even in manual mode, starts to decrease significantly, making it appear dark when you're outdoors. Do you experience the same issue?
On my s24 ultra my battery is amazing. Sometimes i forget to put it on the charger at night and when i wake up i still hwve 25% on my battery.
I like 4:3 / IMax size movies, they're so fun to watch on the fold
I'm a note/ultra user from the very first generation. Folds are not $1k better than the ultras, not yet. you can build both a complete and solid Samsung ecosystem with the current price of the fold and get way more value. I continue to consider folds novelty items.
I went with the Fold 6. But I’ll be picking up the Pixel Fold 2 in a few months also. So I’m good. 🙂
I would get another fold if they fix their ribbon cable issue. I am on my third fold 4 and all out of insurance replacements according to assurion.

@AlexGTech they direct me to assurion, unfortunately. For the work I do I love this phone, but I don't think I can invest in another if the ribbon cable goes out. I use this for gig-work so I open and close it frequently do to having Doordash, Uber, and Spark open together. If they are using a better ribbon cable for the fold 6, I'll probably get the fold 7 when it comes out. Otherwise, I'm going back to the Galaxy S Ultra.

What I'm liking most is the proportion. It's easier to use the Z Fold than the S22 with one hand. It's very similar to a smaller old smartphone and an iPhone 13 mini.
Great point about one-handed use. It's actually helping me not get distracted. Because when I open the Fold, it's so tempting to just fire up a game or RUclips!
I have the z fold 6 and had for 2 weeks the s24 Ultra....Ultra is way to big in one hand and when yoj wanna watch something its still a small screen.
The Fold 6 is now a real round product and with the wider outer screen its nearly perfekt. Maybe one mm wider and its fine. I relay like the fom factor of the phone. Its a real nice small device but i manage 90% on the outer screen. now i watch YT and use the inner one.
Loudspeakers are way much louder on the fold 6.
for me the fold wins clearly. The ultra is just way to chunky for me.
The Cameras...yeah maybe a bit better on the ultra. Zooming to the moon only benefits up to 30x zoom. after that its not better. The Fold is still doing great pictures.
One big issue that both have is heating up while charging...they get crazy hot.
Careful when charging you fold if the battery gets too hot. I had the fold 3 for 1yr and in the summer the battery would overheat while charging in the car. I work from my car most of the day so the battery expanded a little and messed up the folding mechanism where the screen would open flat anymore. It was noticeable and would bother me. Samsung declined warranty replacement.
They are so different and i have and love them both for different things. Fold for day to day use and s24 ultra mostly for weekends when im traveling/visiting out and about. Now if they could make an S24 ultra that folds...then i could get by with one phone

Agreed, I think it's still quite an acquired taste (I certainly love it!) but I agree, especially on the battery and camera hardware, not so much on the cover screen - that I am quite happy with

I would love to love it and I'm deciding between s24u and Z6. Luckily my shitty carrier (boost mobile) resolved my dilemma by not supporting e-sim on Z6. Too much of a hassle for me to visit their local store to get physical sim.

There's just not enough improvements in the zfold 6 to make it worth moving from the zfold 5! All I really want is better cameras. So until they start putting much better cameras on the zfold I will be sticking with the 5 and upgrading my S ultra only

I moved from a Fold 5 to the S24U due to the camera. The Zoom capability on the Fold is its biggest weakness. If Samsung produce a Fold Ultra, I'm in.

The external screen of the Fold 6 is wider than that of the iPhones Mini, and narrower than that of the iPhone 11 Pro by 3mm, and for some people, is actually perfect (not for me), except that, the internal screen of a Fold is not 100% safe and you are not immune to unpleasant surprises.
The advantage of Folds like the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, Honor Magic V3, OnePlus Open, Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, is that in case of accidents with the internal screen, you have a completely and normally usable smartphone.
For me, the perfect Galaxy Fold would be a Fold with the form factor of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, with 2cm more in height (to have a rectangular internal screen and not a square one), with 5000-5500mAh battery 🔋capacity and better camera sensor.
For the moment, my Galaxy S Ultra + Tab S standard combo is perfect for me.

Traded in my S22 ULTRA for the Fold 6 and i have no regrets. The only things i hate is the inner screen camera. The other cameras are great too. I see people talking about it having a small battery but i can say i got to work for 12 hrs and all night im connected with Bluetooth to listen music and watch/listening podcast, also play games on my breaks and i manage to come home with average +30%. Now finally for the outer display, its ok the way it is. I have bug hands but its way easier to use that screen that the s22U screen.

zfold6 is about the same spec as S24 ultra but slightly better except camera department. But camera isn't bad at all, it's still very decent for a phone, if not 200 million pixel resolution. However, when it comes to form factor, zfold just kills it. Narrow enough to use front panel single-handily and to put into your smaller pocket. And think its design is frankly a bit better , being minimal and all.

Yes, such a complete device! Honestly the 13PM is a beast too, I sort of regret selling it as I did not like the 14PM. Definitely tricky to change ecosystems though
@@AlexGTech it is a beast but all my Apple products are old. 10.5 inch iPad Pro Apple Watch 4 and nothing else with RCS coming well besides Apple Card and FaceTime nothing else hold me back.

@@AlexGTech hey Alex. Definitely the simplicity of just looking at a great screen right away, but also with that there’s the nice feeling of something not so wide and more compact. I carry an iPhone 15P also so that quick appreciation is there instead of the ultra compared to the iPhone. The Samsung I use mostly for business purposes and I find myself using it for just that the more as the front display is mainly used for quick actions and replies. I actually am enjoying it and still venturing. Can’t wait to create a power point on the fold.

Yeah, it's easy enough to sort but it annoys me considering I didn't get that with the S23 Ultra or even the S24 Plus
I have to agree the S24u has a pathetic battery life and i am not convinced the screen display is all that. I just prefer my Sony display, battery and picture quality hands down over the S24u. In terns of the ZF6 I just do not like the bulk if it but i will see what the future brings on foldables as I still feel this is either early days or just a fad. Great video btw 😊👍
I am with you on that battery, and agreed - foldables are still an acquired taste. They are getting slimmer and more capable though, I think 2 more generations till it's viable for everyone
I recently upgraded my Fold4 to Fold6. In most aspects user experience feels identical. Everything feels more refined with Fold6 though. First thing to mention is much more battery life on Fold6. It gives me full day with more then average use including gaming. It was never like this with Fold4. I had to charge Fold4 midday and most the times just after work. Fold6 feels lighter and thinner and much more premium. Inner display felt like plastic on Fold4 and now it feels like real glass on Fold6. I was actually very happy with performance of Fold4 as well and I wouldn't upgrade if Fold4 hinge didn't fail on me twice and only reason for me to upgrade was hinge issues on Fold4. Fold6 is still too new so I hope Fold6 is more durable. I upgraded my wife's Fold4 to an S24 Ultra and it's different type of beast with superior camera, much better battery life and faster charge. With S24 ultra you always have a giant acreen available to you without the need to unfold the device first. But S24 Ultra also feels heavier and bulkier in pocket and less comfortable holding. She also had hinge issues with Fold4. That's the only reason I wanted to change her phone. I believe S24 Ultra is much more durable and I believe we will upgrade her phone not because it's failed but we feel it got old in future. So if concern is durability S24 ultra is the clear way to go. S24 Ultra is almost half price of Fold6 here in Turkey. So even it fails and Samsung doesn't honor warranty then you can buy another one and 2 x S24 ultra will cost you almost same price as 1 x Fold6. You can also buy an s24 ultra and a decent tablet or laptop for same price as Fold6. So if you care to get the most with your buck S24 ultra is still the way to go. You get everything better at S24 Ultra for half price except the folding phone experience and multitasking. I was too bored of regular phones with not much innovations and that's why I switched to foldables at first place. I love my Fold6 and I hope it doesn't fail on me as quick as Fold4.

I switched from fold 5 to the 24 ultra. I prefer the better battery life. I rarely opened it up. The thickness in my back pocket was annoying. Most importantly, it was a matter of if, but when will the middle screen get damaged.
Hello Alex, I'm hesitating between the Z Fold 6 and the new Pixel 9 Pro Fold. I'm a loooong time iPhone user. Camera (photo) performance is pretty important to me. What I usually don't like about Samsung is their bloatware, I prefer clean a clean OS. I do prefer the symmetrical look of the Samsung but it's not the most important factor to me. Which one would you recommend?
In a world where we already have foldables with 67w ++ fast charging, triple 50 mp camera, 5000 MHa++ battery and better inner display, samsumg dont even UP the battery to 5000MHa. Or upgrade that old setup cameras (3 years now), dont even make a 45w fast charge/dont even upgrade that UDC.
All of this for that high price ? Fold 6 is literally the most waste of money u can get right now on a phone.
I think specs-wise they are certainly not moving the needle. But I wouldn't say waste of money, considering how much can be done on this phone

The price should justify
I'm still using the ZF5 and happy with it for my day to day stuff. However, the camera is appaling, especially at night. This is not a hardware issue. it's the software. 3 y/o pixels have inferior hardware and produce better pictures. The ZF6 has the same cameras FFS!! Stop the gimmicks Samsung and copy Googles camera software.
Agree on ZF5, especially if some of the AI features come to the 5, it's still going to be a beast, no need to upgrade really

I think that's fair, especially when it comes to video. The S24U CAN generate better results, but there's a bit of 'fiddling' in manual settings to get those results. Which is not great for the majority of people
