@MKRNaqeebi that's not the point of the video. The video is explaining the features of both phones to help you in determining which phone works for you personally. So watching the video is worth it.
You have a good point But I wished they did these comparisons by doing stuff like Watching movies or videos Opening documents Editing videos Editing photos Then u can decide Because talking about just display and split screens doesn't help anyone I wished there was a channel that was actually helpful
Samsung folds are garbage compared to their Chinese counterparts. Even the Ultras are being ridiculed in every department by Chinese phones, only very slightly lacking behind. Samsung has only got Good Lock, Samsung Pay and DeX to their advantage but not much else... My main a Vivo X Fold 3 Pro and a brand new S24U as backup phone just because the resale value of the Folds is garbage and only Samsung will give decent trade in value... Even the S24 Ultra only shines in the video stabilization and smoothness. For the camera it's a loser.
What most people never talk about is the fold capabilities for working on documents. The larger screen makes it much better to work on office documents. I did all my job applications on my phone, sitting or laying on the couch. It is working really well.
Same, I can need to travel unexpectedly at last minute and if I have my fold with me I can survive for a couple of days without a desktop or laptop as I can still work on Excel, Word and PowerBi information efficiently. Remote Desktop also comes in use when I am travelling for longer periods too and need to use more bespoke applications. Dex is useful when I have a usb c to hdmi cable on me as I can then connect to a hotel TV for a bigger display to work on too. It really is a solid all round road warrior device. I just wish it was a bit more durable as after 2 years of heavy use I have had to replace the front screen after it cracked on my fold 4 and now the inner screen is developing thr black line of death. But given I use it all day everyday in all different conditions I probably can't complain to much given the productivity improvement it's given me.
Same. I work remote solely using my Z fold 5 for Zendesk, Slack and credit card processing. I just use my desktop now for faxing and printing. As a small business owner, all those other specs in the comment section are utterly futile to my $$$ grind.
switched from the S24 Ultra to the Fold 6, and I love it for my daily use. I no longer need to carry my iPad or Galaxy Tab to watch videos or get things done. It's perfect for my needs, and I think some people are missing the point. These two devices serve completely different purposes. The S24U has the best specs, hands down, but I don’t take many photos like my wife does, and I barely use the S Pen. I also don’t understand why people complain about the outer screen size-it’s meant for quick texts or basic one-handed tasks. The big inner screen is where you do all the core stuff. The only thing I miss from my S24U is the super fast charging 2.0.
The little fold screen with that aspect ratio compared to the tab s10 ultra....thanks but no thanks....I will stick with my s24 ultra and tab s8 ultra.... real great for watching vids.
@XxnatrocksxX Pretty much everybody, lmao. Thats all a tablet is is just a larger phone and a phone is just a smaller tablet. Therefore, basically everybody carries a tablet in their pockets daily, lmao.
I've had 3 Folds. They're all great.... until the first time they need to be repaired. Dead pixels, line down the middle, hinges not opening or folding all the way. I'm sticking with 24 Ultra for now. Be wary of the flaws...
Had the fold 4 and now 5, just replaced a 4 month old one for a hole developing in the inner screen on the crease. And the one before that got the black line down the crease after about 8 months and stopped working entirely. I love the fold functionality, but they clearly have issues with the inner screen.
So true, Z Fold 5 - 14 Months and line in a display and now it's black. Out of warranty and repairing is like up to 700€. Customer support is absolutly bad.
Had the choice between both, and went with the 24ultra, dont like the crease on the screen and my work is rather dirty and simply dont trust the folding mechanism or the inner screens longevity, cameras on the 24ultra is the win as well
I'm a builder and had no problem, the crease is unseen when viewing from the front, especially in door use like when your back home.. travelling.. perfect for flights. I tend not to unfold it much when out at work and enjoy unfolding when I'm chilling
This is my first foldable phone and I think that's an excuse. The crease is barely visible at all majority of the time I forget it's there, and in certain angles it's completely non existent.
I had to change my inner screen , under warranty but still it did cost me my friday and the after to go get it back... for the dirty work , i oftrn have to leave and bring my work phone instead
@Nestle245 it's not a excuse, it's a reason, I don't like the fold(i have seen and tried the folders) and it is not as durable as a slab phone, that's not even a debate, maybe some time in the distant future they might make them strong enough but not just now
Switched form iphone 15pro to Z6, 0 regrets i never had a foldable before so its a fresh experience and android always felt more intuitive and comfortable to use for me. Finally some actual emotions from purchase instead of usual meh from unboxing another iphone or a galaxy s. To anyone who is in doubt because of the dreaded crease in the middle - you really only notice it under certain angles or when there is a bright light source like a lamp or a sun behind you and even then it nothing dramatic - it doesnt interfere with content unlike a certain "island". My only real complaint would be battery life because its kinda subpar for the cost - not terrible but for 2k bucks i think i have a right to expect smth better and of course the absence of famed "titanium" - yeah the "titanium frame" in phones is just marketing and its mostly aluminum + a tiny little bit of actual titanium anyway but Z6 is their most premium device like wtf samsung i dont deserve titanium for 2000 bucks? xD
If you thinking to buy the Fold instead of the S because you can see much more on RUclips or any videos don't. The only way you can see on the whole screen on the fold if you zoom in. But than you loose much from the content. If you use it regularly there are no differences. You got a black bar up and down. That's it. In my opinion if you do not utilize the bigger inner screen for daily workflow (documents or heavy multi tasking) the S24U is a better choice. (and yes I had a Fold before and now using the S24U)
If you don't have a fold you wouldn't know what you're missing. But I do have a Fold 6 and I've had Samsung Galaxy devices forever and the Fold 6 is amazing, so I do know what you're missing.
@Mattchey94 I know what I'm missing: poorer battery life, mediocre cameras, slower charging, worse IP rating, no integrated stylus, £550 less money in my pocket. Actually, I'm quite happy to miss all those things and keep my S23 Ultra. Although the Fold 6 has that bigger internal screen, no-one would buy a tablet with a screen that small and a nearly square aspect ratio (which is why no-one sells such a tablet).
What exactly am I missing? Almost double the weight? Who the hell unfolds that phone on the street? Nobody. Useless. What I am missing buddy? Maybe the absurd price? Or maybe the S pen? The 5000 maH as on the s24? Take your horse glasses off mate, I'm not missing anything.
I switched from fold4 to s24 ultra because the fold disnt work. Less durable more care and less usability. S24u is all in one screen and no hassle to keep unfolding.
As a owner of Fold 4, I won't go back to another fold until there is a slot for the s-pen, wider outer screen, and the inner screen is more durable. I've busted my screen twice within the 2 years I've had it. I love the usability of the Fold but it has a bit more issues to work out before it becomes a real contender.
I also have a fold 4. The screen has broken 2 times already. 2nd time was outside of warranty. Don't care about s pen or cameras I just want a wider bigger phone and faster charging, better screen quality, more reliability and better processor
S24 ultra is the best for me. I know a few people with the fold, and they love them. But I am a bit clumsy and can't handle not having full body case protection on my phone. My friend dropped his z fold 6 on the corner a week into having it. The inner screen immediately got the ink blot damage. It will keep me away until the screens have more durability. Plus I can't spend 2 thousand on a phone. I got my s24 ultra and the ultra watch with buds 3 for 1250. Total. I just traded in a s20 fe and took advantage of the deals on my carrier.
I have a Fold 5. Unless you plan to use the middle screen a lot it's not worth it. Wide screen format is not a lot larger than the Ultra. Reading and square screen content is better. Multitasking is better.
Although I absolutely love the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, I still think the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is the better smartphone for many reasons. My first Samsung phone in over a decade was the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and at the time it was tough deciding between that phone and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. I almost went with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 because of how amazing the idea of a foldable phone with three screens sounds, plus how big the display is when the phone is unfolded for consuming content and things like it's three panel multi tasking ability. However my ultimate decision was the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and the reasons were form factor as I still think slab phones are superior in terms of practicality and durability. The phone fit easier into my pockets and it's sleek design wasn't nearly as thick. Plus, even though the Z Fold 5 had the huge display when unfolded, when folded the screen was just way to narrow for my liking in comparison to the S23 Ultra. All these things I've mentioned carry over to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra vs Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 debate. I also appreciate the better resolution and pixel density of the Samsung Galaxy S23/S24 Ultra smartphones, even if it isn't a super noticeable thing to most people, as I am a pixel peeper. Also the screen itself on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5/6 feels very low quality, almost like its made of platic rather than glass which is something else that influences my decision when picking between these smartphones. Lastly, the integration of the S-pen on the S Series Ultra phones is way more of an advantage for me. I just don't think I'm ready for a foldable phone and might never be. But they are amazing nonetheless.
Be very careful with the fold devices. I currently have the Z fold 4 and will be going to the S24 ultra next week. The inner screen display on the fold is extremely fragile, mine ended up with a purple laser line going through the middle after just 6 months of owning it. That on top of how the crease gradually gets more noticeable over time has put me off of the fold completely.
My fold 3 had the inner replaced under warranty after a year. When the screen starts to show wear again, I'll be moving back to the S24 probably. Fold is good, but the screen is still a little fragile
For me, my 24 Ultra will remain my best choice. The fold aspect ratios are off on both screens. There isn't a real advantage with the Fold when watching video content (16:9 or even 21:9), just too much black bars and the actual content size is similar to the S24 Ultra. The large screen usefulness is in the rest of the UI usage, i.e. messaging, multitasking, notes, drawing, etc. Would still go for the chinese foldables over Sammy to be honest. Sammy is safe most have not launched global versions.
And other things, like the multi screen for multiple apps. Yes the S24U can do it, but the extra screen makes it better on the fold 6. I for one, like reading kindle books and studying. It's MUCH better on the fold as it takes the whole screen. If one's priority is media solely, then it makes no sense to spend the extra for the fold due to the aspect ratios as you mentioned. But for people who utilize many apps that can take advantage of the full screen (such as myself), who was also in the market for a tablet, but don't want to have to carry an additional device, the fold is just better.
@@Bread_n_Butter. Idk man, it makes more sense to me to buy a separate tablet 😆 You could get a nice phone and tablet… and still save money. Unless you really REALLY need to have these 2in1. For me: square aspect ratio, visible crease, smaller battery, worse cameras - are the compromises that I’m NOT willing to make.
I had every fold apart from the 6, moved to the s24ultra prefer it for camera and battery, but mainly the durability dont have to worry about phone when i take it out, had 3 folds fail 2 hinges and 1 screen.
@@admckenna1870 just dropped my fold 4 today so sad. Fixed it like a month ago hinge again ,🤣 just one drop come on. So thinking to get ,s24. I can't understand how from one drop hinge gets broken so easy
This is the comment I was looking for. I have a fold 3 and the inside plastic cover has gone on me 3 times. The fold doesn't feel as sturdy as a normal phone either. Do you think I should wait for the s25 or get the fold 6? I have the fold 3 right now
@@Sheddingreally depends on what you want, I have a ZF5 & a S24 Ultra. I dropped my ZF5 once and it still works perfectly fine. I typically go back and forth month to month to enjoy both worlds but if I had to pick one, just go with the Ultra if durability is your concern. Only drawback you'll face is the cameras, Samsung has yet to fix it the issues that still plagues it, it's post processing is awful. Hope this helps
Having had the 13Pro (still use this phone) and the S22 ultra, now upgraded to the S24 ultra, I have to admit I really was planning to go for the Fold6. Why I didn’t go for the Fold at the end of the day? 1) Price- I find the price difference simply too high, even if you would consider the Fold6 the winner 2) Unless you really need a bigger screen and need to make selfies with the back camera and/or want to multitask in split screens, then you could consider the Fold6 over the S24 3) Although the weight is almost the same, because the Fold is more compact, it feels heavier (tested myself in the store and confirmed by Fold-users) 4) I don’t use the S-pen daily, but this feature weighs in heavier than the larger screen, and to add to that the larger screen doesn’t allow me to see more of RUclips for example than on the S24. In other words, the real advantage is that you can split into multiple screens to multitask 5) Camera: better photos and films. non-debatable
I think something that gets over looked is the inner screen wear. If you're not changing phones on a yearly basis, you'll notice a wear spot on the keyboard section on the inner screen since it's plastic. Has my fold 3 since release, saw no point in upgrades over the last while but I've noticed no one brings it up.
Fold 6 .. all day every day .. its my office-in-a-pocket. Truly. 3 or 4 apps at once opened in a fraction of a second from the edge ... WOW. BTW: swyped this comment on the "narrow" cover screen without problem.
Neither.....I'll stick with ultra. Six models in & Samsung still has not eliminated crease somewhat & not included stylus storage. Flagship status is yet to be reached.
I agree, funny how it used to be a markdown for a phone if it had too big a camera notch in the screen or was 1mm too thick. None of this seems to matter on a fold, it is thicker and has a horrible crease which to me is worse than any camera notch, and somehow this is acceptable !!!!!
i will get z fold when samsung: 1.Puts the S pen to the next Z fold 2. change the main screen aspect ratio to a bigger one (at least something close to s24. 3.increase the battery and fast charging speed to 45-65w
Z Fold 6 wins by a mile on my scoresheet. Gave my S24U to my wife; she was not happy, she wants my Fold 6 😁. Thanks for this comparison video. Liked and subbed.
First fold so far loving it, managed to grab the 256 bundled with Spen case, Ultra watch with 2 extra straps plus one year free accidental damage for fold 6 for the RRP of fold 6. Also got S24 Ultra probably keep it until S25 release the 1decide what to then.
@@RonRidao I have both phones. Yes I agree with you. However I'd like to think of the S24 ultra as the manly muscle man husband, and Z Fold 6 as the tall handsome intelligent but slightly fragile husband.
Zfold 6 win. I'm sorry. I can't go back to a candy bar anymore. A phone and a tablet. Nothing is better than a foldable. I have z fold 3 day 1 and z fold 6 day1. I have both. Love my phone
I traded my Fold 3 in and got the Fold 6, and love it. Trade in prices are crazy right😂 now. The battery life on the Fold 6 is awesome. I also got the Galaxy watch ultra , which is an amazing watch. The battery life is crazy. I'm on my 3rd day of not charging the watch. I was using a Galaxy S3 Frontier since 2017 everyday and love it but it was time for an upgrade on the watch.
Your Fold 3 still worked? My died after 2 years. First inner screen went out and then the outer screen. Had to use a used beat up android phone until I could upgrade to a S24 Ultra. I won't go back to a fold.
Having both as well without being a successful youtuber, I must say, I don't want to lose 1. The fold is unbeatable when going for a terrace for a few pints and no one here shows rugby her in Germany. Just stand that thing on a standard and you make friends with a few (low sound level of course) The S24 is more the all rounder in this "battle". The camera, the jeans friendliness, the battery life AND ofter underrated, the coating on the screen. For longer trips in a DB train, a fold definitely is your best companion. Both have their charms and both deserve the Titel best phone. It's just your needs and your bank account do play a big factor. Disclaimer: both phones where a gift.
Fold3 then fold4 then back to the "note" line. S23ultra now. It's just a more useful phone. Also the fold needs a pen. And the best cameras. Not spending more to get less.
problem with Fold is that most of the Video contents are made in 16:9 ratio. folds screen is long rectangle folded and square when opened up. which doesn't work with 16:9 ratio contents. so unless you do a lots of multi app work or text based work, fold's larger screen is useless. just heavier, thinker, less durable, and more expensive. I am waiting for trifold phone from samsung. that will be the game changer.
It's a matter of how much you value the best camera and battery life vs the giant inner display. There is no clear winner, it's just what is best for you vs what's best for me. For me it's the Fold. But I think it's the Ultra for most.
started to use Fold 5 last year and it has been incredible for me, I use it for work and play games. Very comfortable large screen to watch videos as well.. only down side for me for Fold is the durability, need extra care.
I had the Note 8. Upgraded to the Note 10+. And now I was deciding if I wanted to stay with the same series and get the S24 Ultra or try out the Z Fold 6, but the crease is the thing that really sold me on staying with the Note/Ultra series and it's going to be one of the first things to wear out in the long run. Feels limiting in that aspect. Plus, I use my camera to record concerts that I go to, so the better camera was also a big factor. I'm definitely not disappointed, the video quality and refresh rate of the S24 Ultra is absolutely insane for a phone. Literally feels like I'm watching a 4K TV. And the camera is completely unmatched.
if money is not an object, both phones are excellent in their own way, it will be up to the user on what they prioritize on a phone. prioritizing is always the case in buying anything
The one thing I definitely like more about the S24 Ultra is the camera, especially that zoom capability. Apart from that, I'm leaning toward the Zfold 6. Right now there's a sale, and I have the opportunity to get either the Ultra for $1000 or the Zfold for $1220 (after rebates, and both with 512gb). I'm not sure what to do.
@jermainemouzon4909 yeah, this is my concern with it. I'm happy with the phone I have. Like I said, the flip stuff is simply a gimmick. It's cool and I like it, but I really don't need it.
I love the fold design. Its a big differentiator from the crowd. Its actually more of a statement than carrying an iPhone. Sick of the bar design mobiles. Fold takes me to the golden times when we had Nokia communicator.
Watching from the US. I've had almost every Samsung phone. Still have most of them as keepsakes as they still work to some extent. I'm due for an upgrade. Currently on the s22 ultra. Bought it when it first came out. I love the s22 ultra and haven't had any issues. This new fold 6 is tempting. I mostly use my phone to read and occasionally watch diy or unboxing videos. I love the Note series phones and had several of them. I like the s pen but I've only used the s22 U s pen like 3 times. If you switched from s22 U to the Fold 6, comment your thoughts on the upgrade. My main concern with the foldable's is how much wear the screen will get if you fold and unfold several hundred times a day for a year+. Great video. Subd and 👍
I'm not super sure I'd ever use the fold as a work tool. That said, the inner screen is beautiful, and as apps adjust to maximize on its potential, it may become overwhelmingly attractive. For me, the standard form factor is just fine (but secretly hoping for more in the future)
Just ordered the z fold 6. Currently using the s24u. Its a beast of a device but I've always wanted a foldable. So i tool advantage of a black friday sale.
I grew tired of my 13 max pro and wanted a bigger screen, so I had the opportunity to trade in my moto fold and received a 700 dollar trade in promotion thru spectrum mobile, which I used to get the 24ultry. Then, just recently, t mobile had a deal with 0 down for the Fold 6 and gave me a 500 dollar credit with my 13 max pro trade in. Both are awesome, but my daily driver is my fold 6, LGv60 was my main phone for about 2 years and having 2 screens made life so much better ( even more so when I was DoorDashing, one screen on the map and the other on the order ) so natural the fold 6 fit me just perfectly, I didn't care for the previous predecessors. I'm not big on the whole camera craze, so either one works well for me. And since I have the Bud Pro 3, I can listen to music from either phone easily, i haven't tapped into Dex yet, but from what I've seen, it works well on both. Anyways, great video.
I'm on that boat right now . I ordered it and looking to use it and if I am unimpressed I will send it back, but I did get $1400 off with trade in and promotion. However my S24U is 1TB, so I need some hands on convincing
Great review. I like your voice bro, its really professional. Watching from India. I am blessed with a 1TB S24 Ultra and I will in no way trade it for a fold with a crease, inferior camera and no S-Pen.
Lots of great information in your comparison. Thankyou. I ruined a zoom camera by getting rainwater on it, and a laptop by spilling water on it, so I'll go with the extra water resistance of the Ultra. Ignoring the selfies, I wish you'd told us which camera you think took better photos. I didn't feel like there was a clear winner. What do YOU think?
For larger canvas, I use my tab S9 ultra, which is absolute behemoth. Even fold looks tiny to me, thats why I go with s ultra series only, which also has a better camera setup.
I had to go dor the S24U. Just because I know the phone will be good after 3-5 years. The fold just doesn't hold up. The screen flexing causes bubbles to form. And sure you can let it be replaced, but damn that's a hassle. I don't want to send my phone away!
had my fold 6 for about a month now, i love it, couldnt go back to a smaller screen size now im used to it (although i did go from a fold 3 so got used to the screen a couple of years ago)
For me, I held off on the fold due to the camera. I use the 10x on my s23U a lot to film space launches ... for the price, they need to step up the camera on the fold.
I had a fold 5 but sold it after only 3 months for an S24 Ultra. The concept of the phone is cool but the strange aspect ration on the front and main display makes any video watching completely pointless. Massive black borders top and bottom. Didn't use it as much for side to side applications as I thought, the screen just isn't big enough to really make it a positive point. The cameras were pretty unusable for anything past 1x zoom and again taking photos with the phone unopened would mean you need to crop them for upload to social media etc. It's a decent phone but for the price it's absolutely a waste of money imo
Had the fold 5 with a rugged case drop it screens were unharmed but the inside screen stopped working only 2 months old i think they can be fragile in a way but got a s24 ultra
I had the choice of any of the Samsung range as my contact was renewing from the old s20. I initially went for the fold 6 but sent it bk as I didn't trust the screen. Got the s24 Ultra, and it's amazing the translation AI S Pen I could go on. But coming from an s20 (which I loved) is like night and day.
I have had 3 fold 3... 2 fold 4.. and probably buy the fold 6 soon One fold 3 bought on amazon and it finally just stopped working on the inside screen.. it always felt lighter, more plastic Dropped a small toy on the screen and dead pixels.. later on i got a second fold 3 This one same thing it just fell on the face while on my table onto a pointy object.. dead pixels and also some vertical cracks in the fold crease Decided to get a replacement with my insurance The next 3 has been the most reliable.. seems legit samsung But now again these vertical cracks just in the crease but thats fine My fold 4 dropped while open and even with a case there became a black inkblot dead spot on the inside Got it replaced with insurance Currently the newest fold 4 is fine No cracks or other screen issues With all these ive learned how to be more careful Learned the case i need to buy for it Regardless the inside size is so important My mind is thinking the 6 is better quality everything so will try it
I wanted the Z fold because I love big screens but my OCD will definitely have a problem with that crease in the middle. I have always been a Samsung fan and the Note. I love how they combined both with the S series by adding the S Pen. I am also not a fan of bulky..so folding the Z Fold i wouldnt like. Also i love getting cute cases for my phones🤷🏾♀️ I will be strong and just wait for the S25 series to come out in January 2025 with its 6.9 screen❤❤❤❤❤
I've had the fold 3,4 and 5 and they are wicked for screen size when unfolded for watching video etc but when folded it bad for typing messages on the tiny keyboard and the cameras on the s24 are way better due to the thickness and they can fit better cameras on the solid phone. I think they unfold screen need to be wider and the cameras arnt great on the fold
Bizar if you see the comment section how much people had issues with their fold. Reminds back in the days that there were a lot of issues with the sony mdrx headphone that broke easily
The inner screen on the fold is fragile and will suffer from material fatigue as time passes. Also, its protective foil comes off after a little over a year of use, so you need to have it replaced every now and then. Besides, it's easy to lose the fold's s-pen because you have to keep it in the case, which gets worn after a while and loosens its grip on the pen after a while. For these reasons I'll be mainly keeping my fold at home and will be switching to the S25 Ultra model when it arrives so I can have more peace of mind when I'm out and about. The Ultra model seems more durable, has better cameras and has its own compartment for the s-pen. The fold is great for reading and gaming, though. I just don't think the foldable technology is mature enough yet as it still requires better durability and tougher materials for the inner display.
I traded my s24 ultra for the Fold 6. I primarily traded it for the larger writing canvas for note taking. Howeber the S24 ultra is so polished it is all around a great phone. I do miss the build quality, the battery, and the cameras.
These products have two different purposes. Stop misleading people. This is an apples to oranges comparison, and it's terrible that you can't understand that.
@@TtikNoh that's right, unless multitask is a must for you, then go with s24 ultra. That big screen of fold is really designed for multitasking, not for media consumption.
@@yvonnemohenry Thank you for this bit of advice.. I've been flipping back and forth between the S24 and the Fold6 for the past few months as my contract comes up for renewal with my provider..! Wow.....I was so hyped up for the Z Fold 6, and then found out the camera specs are not even besting my S22 Ultra! I was so bummed......but.....in your video, I'll admit, the S24 seems only marginally better....not sure why that is....but maybe I can still pull off the Z Fold. Image quality is important for me....but based on the samples presented in this video, maybe not enough to sway me from the Z Fold.
Other than the folding feature, the ultra wins in every category. No reason to pay more money for a lesser phone. Make the fold match the camera and everything else in the ultra to justify its price and then i will get one
Save your 10 minutes: There is no clear winner and the buyer has to decide himself/herself.

@@Chrischi_Z_GermanGUI ditto

@@actie-reactie whos carrying a tablet in their pocket daily?
@XxnatrocksxX Pretty much everybody, lmao. Thats all a tablet is is just a larger phone and a phone is just a smaller tablet.
Therefore, basically everybody carries a tablet in their pockets daily, lmao.

Hands down, ZFOLD 6! I traded in my S24 Ultra for the fold 6 and absolutely don't regret it....
Congrats, you just downgraded in every aspect
Congrats. You just threw away a better phone. S24U is definitely better
@Tonioo_409 disagree, only thing good on s24 was camera, which i don't use that often..
@dfranzen6043 well I upgraded to the s24 ultra from the z fold 4, the inner screen plastic was cracking by itself from opening and closing it
@toxiccuban7000 that happened in my fold 4 also, Sammy replaced for free. Hopefully fold 6 won't do it
I've had 3 Folds. They're all great.... until the first time they need to be repaired. Dead pixels, line down the middle, hinges not opening or folding all the way. I'm sticking with 24 Ultra for now. Be wary of the flaws...
The 6 is two generations ahead of your Fold 3. A lot has changed since then.
@@Tcwilliams07 agreed. I had the fold 4 for 1.5 years and just got the infamous black line of death. Had to get a replacement.
O2 contract.. upgrade every 90 days.. so can upgrade soon as the next generation fold comes out
Had the fold 4 and now 5, just replaced a 4 month old one for a hole developing in the inner screen on the crease.
@Nestle245 it's not a excuse, it's a reason, I don't like the fold(i have seen and tried the folders) and it is not as durable as a slab phone, that's not even a debate, maybe some time in the distant future they might make them strong enough but not just now
@sebastiengrothe5089 yea that's why foldable aren't worth it until they are more durable
My only real complaint would be battery life because its kinda subpar for the cost - not terrible but for 2k bucks i think i have a right to expect smth better and of course the absence of famed "titanium" - yeah the "titanium frame" in phones is just marketing and its mostly aluminum + a tiny little bit of actual titanium anyway but Z6 is their most premium device like wtf samsung i dont deserve titanium for 2000 bucks? xD
When the Fold houses an S pen like the Note line, I'll get one.
I think if they made the cover screen slightly wider. There would be space for it, too. I'm not sure why they haven't done it yet tbh
@WhatGear Agreed. We are now on the 6th edition! For an electronic notepad to not come with a pen is weird.
@@geraldjennings3188 same..once the pen is housed in..i’ll get it!
I got the fold 6 with the spen case.... the pen is wasted on me I hardly ever use it. Different folks different strokes I guess
When they come up with similar camera lenses as ultra series, I'll plan to switch to fold 😅
The fold should be 2 S ultras put together, outer screen is just too narrow
That would be cool
Tha would be perfect!
Yeah that is why the Galaxy Fold 6 Ultra will fill out that void, as big as the S24U but folding
That would make it more bulky tho
That's kind of what the Fold 6 SE is. But it's only available in China and Korea.
If you don't have a fold you wouldn't know what you're missing. But I do have a Fold 6 and I've had Samsung Galaxy devices forever and the Fold 6 is amazing, so I do know what you're missing.
@Mattchey94 i just got a fold 6 from an S22 Ultra and I like it. It's just taking some getting used to.
@Mattchey94 me also watching from Fold Six. Really amazing and Beautifull
and Wonderful
That on top of how the crease gradually gets more noticeable over time has put me off of the fold completely.
the same w mine, really really fragile.
My fold 3 had the inner replaced under warranty after a year.
When the screen starts to show wear again, I'll be moving back to the S24 probably.
Fold is good, but the screen is still a little fragile
Same thing. Fold 4 worst phone I ever owned.
Z fold 6 owner for months no issues
@@mesyoutoubevideosupercool7726 maybe an update after a year would be nice
For me, my 24 Ultra will remain my best choice. The fold aspect ratios are off on both screens. There isn't a real advantage with the Fold when watching video content (16:9 or even 21:9), just too much black bars and the actual content size is similar to the S24 Ultra. The large screen usefulness is in the rest of the UI usage, i.e. messaging, multitasking, notes, drawing, etc. Would still go for the chinese foldables over Sammy to be honest. Sammy is safe most have not launched global versions.
And for video games I played gta thru Netflix on my fold 6 uses the entire screen an is pretty awesome
You have no knowledge on how to properly use the fold and ajust settings.

It is absolutely the best phone I've ever had.I had the ultra 23 I moved to the 6 Fold awesome device 😅
Having had the 13Pro (still use this phone) and the S22 ultra, now upgraded to the S24 ultra, I have to admit I really was planning to go for the Fold6. Why I didn’t go for the Fold at the end of the day?
1) Price- I find the price difference simply too high, even if you would consider the Fold6 the winner
2) Unless you really need a bigger screen and need to make selfies with the back camera and/or want to multitask in split screens, then you could consider the Fold6 over the S24
3) Although the weight is almost the same, because the Fold is more compact, it feels heavier (tested myself in the store and confirmed by Fold-users)
4) I don’t use the S-pen daily, but this feature weighs in heavier than the larger screen, and to add to that the larger screen doesn’t allow me to see more of RUclips for example than on the S24. In other words, the real advantage is that you can split into multiple screens to multitask
5) Camera: better photos and films. non-debatable

I agree, funny how it used to be a markdown for a phone if it had too big a camera notch in the screen or was 1mm too thick. None of this seems to matter on a fold, it is thicker and has a horrible crease which to me is worse than any camera notch, and somehow this is acceptable !!!!!

1.Puts the S pen to the next Z fold
2. change the main screen aspect ratio to a bigger one (at least something close to s24.

problem with Fold is that most of the Video contents are made in 16:9 ratio. folds screen is long rectangle folded and square when opened up. which doesn't work with 16:9 ratio contents. so unless you do a lots of multi app work or text based work, fold's larger screen is useless. just heavier, thinker, less durable, and more expensive. It's a matter of how much you value the best camera and battery life vs the giant inner display. There is no clear winner, it's just what is best for you vs what's best for me. For me it's the Fold. But I think it's the Ultra for most.
What clock app is that?
started to use Fold 5 last year and it has been incredible for me, I use it for work and play games.
Where did you get that clock widget from? Can't seem to find it on my S24.

The one thing I definitely like more about the S24 Ultra is the camera, especially that zoom capability. Apart from that, I'm leaning toward the Zfold 6. Ultra is the way to go for me. No regrets. The fold is cool, but it's a gimmick, so until the crease is gone, I'm very happy with my S24 Ultra. 👌🏾
No foldable will ever eliminate the crease entirely. Even if they did the more you open close the fold it will eventually get a crease.
@jermainemouzon4909 yeah, this is my concern with it. I'm happy with the phone I have. Like I said, the flip stuff is simply a gimmick. It's cool and I like it, but I really don't need it.

Subd and 👍

I'm watching this video on my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 😊

Where I can find those cases?
Im now switching from my old fold 4 to the fold 6. For me no other options! 🎉

How did you get the widget like that for the battery indicators
I had the choice of any of the Samsung range as my contact was renewing from the old s20. I initially went for the fold 6 but sent it bk as I didn't trust the screen. Got the s24 Ultra, and it's amazing the translation AI S Pen I could go on. But coming from an s20 (which I loved) is like night and day.
I have had 3 fold 3... 2 fold 4.. and probably buy the fold 6 soon
One fold 3 bought on amazon and it finally just stopped working on the inside screen.. it always felt lighter, more plastic
Dropped a small toy on the screen and dead pixels.. later on i got a second fold 3
This one same thing it just fell on the face while on my table onto a pointy object.. dead pixels and also some vertical cracks in the fold crease
Decided to get a replacement with my insurance
The next 3 has been the most reliable.. seems legit samsung
But now again these vertical cracks just in the crease but thats fine
My fold 4 dropped while open and even with a case there became a black inkblot dead spot on the inside
Got it replaced with insurance
Currently the newest fold 4 is fine
No cracks or other screen issues
With all these ive learned how to be more careful
Learned the case i need to buy for it
Regardless the inside size is so important
My mind is thinking the 6 is better quality everything so will try it
Where can I install similar clock?
I wanted the Z fold because I love big screens but my OCD will definitely have a problem with that crease in the middle. I have always been a Samsung fan and the Note. I love how they combined both with the S series by adding the S Pen. I am also not a fan of bulky..so folding the Z Fold i wouldnt like. Also i love getting cute cases for my phones🤷🏾♀️ I will be strong and just wait for the S25 series to come out in January 2025 with its 6.9 screen❤❤❤❤❤
Good review, but what is the theme on phone that you are using?
Hello where did u get that clock widget?
I've had the fold 3,4 and 5 and they are wicked for screen size when unfolded for watching video etc but when folded it bad for typing messages on the tiny keyboard and the cameras on the s24 are way better due to the thickness and they can fit better cameras on the solid phone. I think they unfold screen need to be wider and the cameras arnt great on the fold
Where did you get that clock widget from on your home screen?
I can't deal with a screen that can be scratched with my fingernail, so it was the S24 Ultra for me
Bizar if you see the comment section how much people had issues with their fold. Reminds back in the days that there were a lot of issues with the sony mdrx headphone that broke easily
How do you make the watch rotate like that?
I think its pretty simple. If you multitask on a daily = fold, if you dont = ultra.
I love my S23.. and was sold on the S24 when I first saw it upon release.. Then the Fold6 came out and I was that look so cool.. I think I am gonna switch just for the sake of having the inside larger screen.. But if its not great for media consumption or streaming. I will stick with the S series of phones! Once again. much obliged!
Where you get the clock wedgets
How to get that clock widget
Which theme you're using?
I'm due for an upgrade, but it's so frustrating to see a lack of progress on the fold after 6 attempts.
My 24 Ultra will always remain my ultimate choice for me, as I've never been fan of the Z Fold series at all.
Whats the wallpaper theme are you using.
How do you get that clock face on the screen?
How do u use the backside flipped? Like in 1:20
Other than the folding feature, the ultra wins in every category. No reason to pay more money for a lesser phone. Make the fold match the camera and everything else in the ultra to justify its price and then i will get one
Had all the ultra phones. Z folds too. Z fold is so much nicer to use and kinda makes made me realise how dead boring S24 ultra is.. Try it
