Hey so I’m a sophomore and I run the 16 in 4:39 and what I do that helps me a lot is 400 repeats and mileage idk how your season is going but I hit about 40-50 miles a week
Well done young man. You're already better than I ever was (back in the 80s). If you want that 3200 PR/record you might have to skip the 1600 for that meet. I had my best 3200 when it was the only event I ran that day. Running the 1600 earlier is always going to hurt your 3200 performance.
2 and a half minutes ahead of second place is WILD bro. Especially after also doing the 1600 beforehand
