I don't know what it is about this season, but every now and again when the camera is at "eye" level with the cars with them flying by, I keep "seeing" an 80s model Oldsmobile.

They were literally running the second groove at martinsville........the cars were actually hard to drive unlike nowadays!!!

I mean look at the stands!!! Track actually taking rubber down, not stuck on the bottom......a ton of horsepower....no splitter hitting the ground.......drivers could actually show there talent
