I don't know what it is about this season, but every now and again when the camera is at "eye" level with the cars with them flying by, I keep "seeing" an 80s model Oldsmobile.
I mean look at the stands!!! Track actually taking rubber down, not stuck on the bottom......a ton of horsepower....no splitter hitting the ground.......drivers could actually show there talent

Ah I remember this race vividly. My dad actually watched the entire race live, as did I. Good memories of my teenage life.

Bobby Labonte did a hell of a job holding off Gordon for that long on just two tires, if gordon didnt nudge him he might have held on
