What was your favorite moment from this race?
The videogame move
Ross Chastain’s move
The last lap
Ross Chastain move
Ross on the wall going NEOMMMMM
the fact that Ross Chastain’s move made radioactive 2 minutes longer than normal says something about how crazy that was lol
Hey sorry about your driver missing the final four, but it was an incredible move
man the first two stages were only 2 minutes of the 7. I've never seen that before on radioactive!
Yeah man. I'm a Chastain fan but I honestly thought Denny had it at the end! Then I saw that move by Ross and it blew my mind! I know Ross is a very passionate and determined driver, but even I did not see that one coming! It'll go down as one of the best moments in motorsports history for sure
In 74 years, that move has worked exactly one time and we saw it this weekend
Normally the story would be about how Christopher Bell won his way in. He had to win. Also, with Chastain making the Chase…four different teams have a driver in the last round.
I wonder what Hamlin must've been thinking hearing his spotter saying to watch the 1 outside. Like- "Why are you saying it with such urgency- oh."
“Why do I hear the free bird solo?”
This has been my most anticipated Radioactive in a long while 😂
Agreed
Agreed
It really has cause I typically don't watch these and I saw what homie dude and I knew this one was going to be good
I'm with ya there... been 4 days now and still haven't gotten enough of that wall burner... lol
You guys could have done an entire episode just on that final lap - absolutely mental!
I feel a little bad for Christopher Bell, having his win overshadowed by what could possibly be the craziest move in NASCAR history.
when Bell took the white i was happy that he will be in the champ 4 but so sad that chastain wont and in the last moment when i thought nothing will change i saw chastain in the wall and thought its done, but he just go faster and made the transfer
Lol, no kidding. He's all happy and looking around like "what's everyone talking about?"
Honestly listening to the spotters and the crew chiefs just absolutely in awe is incredible. As well as hearing Logano giddy with laughter. haha. What a testament to how insane that really was.
Loving the crewman at 00:30 with the big spoon, that's the kinda energy I like seeing from the pits.
Logano's spotter, and Logano's reactions speak for themselves, pretty much everyone was in a mixed state of awe and dumbfounded laugh.
💯
Words of legend from the spotter:
"Holy cow-"
*beat*
"I guess it DOES work."
"HOLY (Expletive)!!! DID YOU SEE THAT?! *laughter*"
Absolutely insane. That was the ballsiest gamble I've ever seen and it actually worked.
Guts and self confidence, tough combination.
I've watched NASCAR racing for 24 years and never saw anything like it when Chastain made that move right there, amazing!
I told my wife the same thing. Been watching since the early 90's and don't think I've ever seen something so bold payoff so well
It wouldn’t work with a prior generation. The composite body held up. The engine and brakes may need to be replaced, but the body is still intact.
"Ross Chastain: need two spots?
Crew chief: yeah man, two spots.
Ross Chastain: Ok, hold my beer." Deja vu start playing!😎
I've been debating making an edit of it and I want to use this with some of the scenes from Initial D, mainly from the first battle with the FD and the first gutter run. Fits too well lmao
1 year later, this is still amazing to see.
It's simply unforgettable.
Pretty cool to hear all of the reactions from the other drivers and crews after Chastain's balls to the wall move. If he ends up winning the Championship in Phoenix, it's gonna elevate what he did at Martinsville to cosmic proportions (if that's possible)! Instant legend status as it stands though. Dude is a freakin' SuperStar.
I can’t be the only one who was watching the whole video just waiting to see the reactions to THAT moment.
I was waiting too so you're not the only one
You know you've made an insane move when even Formula 1 Drivers are talking about it.
Great job Radioactive crew! You just nail it - the video, the audio … love these clips. 👍🏻
I wanted Denny to advance, but I can’t be mad about that one. At first I was like, htf did Chastain advance? Then I saw the replay and I was literally sitting on the couch laughing and said he actually did it. I can’t be mad about that, that was incredible. Since it happened, I’ve watched that replay a million times. I was pull going to pull for Chase Elliott or Joey Logano (my girlfriend’s driver), to win the championship, but now I want to see Ross Chastain flip NASCAR upside down and win the Championship. That would make for one helluva story.
right me at first tow i was like wasnt ross 5 spots from denny a second ago
I seldom pick a favorite in any racing I just want to see really great racing, well this edition of Martinsville will be a huge mark in NASCAR history, from the low of seeing the one man demolition team taking out his own teammate Brandon Jones on Saturday to the epic saga of seeing Christopher Bell and Ross Chastain rise to the occasion to secure berths in the showdown in Phoenix, NASCAR couldn't have written a script any better to gain interest in the sport, proof that many times truth is stranger than fiction.
He’s just one of the few drivers left who actually worked his way into the sport that he loves without forgetting his roots on how he got there. Win or lose, Chastain has left a huge mark
@@red6605 Chastain’s a badass
@@NickyD yea I was watching live too we got a glemse of Chastain passing Denny at end. Then they announced Chastain is in. I was like day on the camera should have been showing him instead of Denny the whole time
This race was WAYYYY better than the spring race! But still the Next Gen car needs a bit more work on short tracks!!
Easily one of the best efforts I’ve ever seen. The stakes were high and he got it done. I’ll remember it forever.
I just imagine the drivers on the inside lane being like Ricky Bobby saying “what we’re those things, we’re those the other cars?” Haha
🤣
5:30 LOOK AT HOW MUCH FASTER HE'S GOING!!!!!
That was awesome. The best move I have ever seen in my 20 years watching NASCAR ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
McReynold's reaction at 5:03 😂😂
All the other teams reactions to the hail melon are so funny 😂
Everyone else brakes
Ross: I AM SPEED
Christopher Bell may have won that race but we all know Ross Chastain was the real winner with that move lmao
I mean, to be honest, they both saw what they needed to do and by sheer will went and did it. They just went about it two entirely different ways, lol. Bell took advantage of some spectacular pit stops and straight out drove everyone else, and Chastain...well, Hail Melon, man. That was one helluva move!
He shocked everyone even himself.
I thought Ross would be doing the Super Saiyan scream as he went through 3 and 4 on the last lap.
So glad I was their for this one. First martinsville race was a blast.
I’ve loved the big crowds all year. This is fantastic for the sport
This has to be one of the most eagerly awaited radioactives ever lmaooo
Incoming, most viewed radioactive
Man that final pits stop was spectacular, that’s obviously the best part of the race by far🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Something Nascar needed in general !! Pure Stockcar Racing
I'm just here for reactions of Chastain's wall riding
Unreal, imagine if he goes on to win the championship
I can see that happening
Last race at phoenix in spring he was the highest finish of the championship 4 so he has a chance.
It’s possible the last driver I can remember being a true badass was Dale sr. I enjoy watching again with Ross he’s fearless and will do what he can to win for his team
@@bighand1530 Denny's gonna wreck him....mark my words
@@Dtuba15 he finshed second in the spring
That was the Best ever move period.......
First time I’ve seen the shot of Ross’ move from the camera on the wall, that car was MOVIN!!
I just wish Dale was alive to have seen that. His reaction would have been epic
I like how much of a fit Larson threw about the move lol
CHRISTOPHER BELL’S 🔔1ST 🥇MARTINSVILLE RADIOACTIVE ☢️ WIN 🥇
CHRISTOPHER BELL’S 🔔1ST 🥇MARTINSVILLE RADIOACTIVE ☢️ WIN 🥇
that is the coolest thing ive seen in motorsports
"You need two..."
Say less, fam 🧐👍
Ross Chastain is now my new favorite driver after that race. Holy cow!
i think i just found my favoritr motorsports driver
That move is gonna be up there with Dale’s pass through the dirt at riverside in 1987
He pulled a Sonic Boom on that, loved it
It’s a nice effect behind his car, but no sonic boom lol
Wow - my new favorite driver - Ross Chastain
That was really really really a dope move!!!; OMG too funny,I thought when I saw that last clip that they 2x the video 🤣🤣
No matter what happens in Phoenix, that car needs to be on display at the NASCAR HOF.
4 different teams in the championship is nice
What a race! Bubba finally being forced to take responsibility for his actions and sitting the last race out and finally seems to be in a better mindset. And Chastain pulling off a move that anyone who has ever been in a race car has thought about. But either has never gone for it or didnt make it work. But he did. Unfreakingbelivable!!
He got banned for 3, why they let this clown race here?
I watch these every week and always enjoy them but you all really outdid yourselves. Even knowing the outcome, it was still dramatic.
0:32 Trackhouse Crew Member 😂
never been into nascar but this was awesome! need more !
Lets hope he wins the next one cuz looks like he has good luck and strong arms to hold that
This will be, one of the best moments in nascar history
Ross Chastain just outsmarted the field.
The Hail Melon starts at 5:18 for those who just want to skip to that.
I think everybody in the place except for Denny and Kyle Larson loved the move
I think Denny was more upset that after dominating in the early stages him and his team had several bad stops that put them in a position to where ross could beat them period.
I remember Denny had this look that said, "Actually, I'm not mad. That was amazing."
Nascar is back
I find it wild that no one’s tried to ride the wall at martinsville in as long as it’s been on the calendar. I guess chastain had them same thought
6:01 I can't not laugh. You see that on the interstate and you know it'll end badly. You see it in NASCAR and it's legend.
Crazy
My favorite part of the race was that epic video game move on the final lap
*"RACING TAKES NUTS!"* ...........annoumyous
Chastain Proves he has a Brass Pair with that move!
Supertrack and fearless reflexes equals Nascar
I know people have thought about wall riding but to actually do it and have it work is awesome
I love Martinsville and radioactive
The Initial D drain ditch trick!!!!!
Was amazing
This is up there with Martinsville 2015s radioactive
The Leeroy Jenkins of NASCAR
That’s the sickest pass in NASCAR history.
That was definitely worth the price of admission ...
Great Race
The most epic comeback in all of Nascar
Awesome
Love hearing from the 7, 34, 77, what about the 51?
5:26- I'd have the same reaction as you, Phil Surgen!
EPIC!!!
What?!! Kyle Busch gets lapped 5 times in Stage 1 and isn't in this video once? He had to have been burning up the radio the way that car was sliding all over the track. Probably could have got two minutes of audio from him alone.
@paul Kyle said very little on radio he knew he was gonna get screwed by JGR he is just getting his last paychecks and moving on watch how bad his car is at phoenix
We want to hear about the winners, not washed-up backmarkers in junk equipment with a potty mouth
As impressive as the 1 cars Hail Mary was it over shadows the fact that C. Bell won 2 outta the last 4 races
NASCAR made a lot more fans after this
Can't believe it's 2050😃😃😃😃
Woww that was the greatest. Move i ever seen it on tv am happy for #1 he really need this to become a championship. Expect #11 didnt make it make me feel any happier hahaha
My favorite
Nascar 2005 on the Gamecube
Lmao what was my man doing at the :30 mark on pit road wall?!
How was he not yelling like goku
The audio compression was horrendous but other than that pretty solid radioactive
NASCAR us on radar again after this move
Historical!!!
I can't believe that about almost every driver was impressed from that
ross chasstain deserves to win the cup after that move
I ageed ross Chastain video game move was epic
Ross Chastain video gaming his way into the final 4
Every driver commenting on the 1 car 🤩
All I’m gonna say is I think we’re gonna have a new first-time champion next week
nah chastain pulled a videogame move💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
It hurts me that there was no mention about Tyler in here.
Ikr?
